I had that squeak on my RG IFS and narrowed it down to the control arm bushings. Never did totally eliminate the noise but reduced it somewhat by spraying silicone in the area. It seemed to make more noise when cold.

In 43 years of motor homing in 10+ coaches I have never gone anywhere without a spare. My last two diesel pushers I installed an electric winch to hoist the spare off the ground and mount into place. It fits between the engine and the side, under the propane tank. I use a 1 inch air wrench and have professional tire changing tools if I need to slip on an different tire.

Need moral support: Cummins engine problem

What engine and chassis? -
I would guess on the sofa if it has 3 sets of belts.

Try spraying with silicone spray.

Single or Tandem axles - is one more stable?
desertdeals69 replied to kwl0525's topic in Travel-Trailers
Whether the trailer has 1 2 or 3 axles is determined by the weight. A triple axle trailer is more stable because there is more rubber on the road but it is also a lot heavier. -
At Freightliner factory service I watched them steam clean from the back side. They never did anything from the front.

One thing about the Parker area river is it can be dangerous. 100+ mph boats and tubers don't mix with good results. US Coast Guard has said it is one of the most dangerous waterways in the country.

My True Induction 2 burner has a standard 120 volt plug and runs fine on 30 amp service but if I have both Acs running I have to turn one off. It also runs off the 3000 watt inverter.

Flat Tow Tow Bar Choices
desertdeals69 replied to studebrucer's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Blue Ox parts are made off shore and assembled in the U S. Roadmaster parts are engineered and manufactured in house (Vancouver, WA). -
There are many turbo rebuilders across the country, we even have one in Lk Havasu City, Az.

Flat Tow Tow Bar Choices
desertdeals69 replied to studebrucer's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
The major difference is that Blue Ox has its parts made off shore and Roadmaster manufactures its parts in house so its basically made in the U S. I have toured the Roadmaster main plant. Roadmaster inspects all of its bars at the conventions, free of charge and does repairs if needed. -
Inverter required for residential refrigerator
desertdeals69 replied to rcoon2's topic in Electrical
I would check with Haier to see if they will warranty it if it fails like mine did. Not worth the effort to install it if its not going to last. -
He was delivering new pleasure boats and rv trailers not commercial trailers.

Onan 6300 LPG generter putting out 154.6V
desertdeals69 replied to chollenback's topic in Electrical
If the frequency is between 59 and 61 the rpm should be 1800. -
Typically the boost solenoid is triggered by the house battery because the assist is for starting the engine. Most generators start off of the house batteries although some have their own separate battery. If you want to be bidirectional install a diode on each of the battery positive wires to the trigger switch. That way either bank can activate the solenoid.

Thor Aria refrigerator falling out of wall.
desertdeals69 replied to robandbarb's topic in Systems and Appliances
Need to fasten it to the floor. If you can't reach behind, you can screw down brackets that will slip over the base in the rear, similar to a stove that is used the keep the stove from tipping over when a child sits on an open oven door. Take the front grill off and screw to base to the floor. -
Inverter required for residential refrigerator
desertdeals69 replied to rcoon2's topic in Electrical
The old inverter was a SW2000 watt Xantrex, pure sine wave. I haven't used a msw in 20 plus years. I also changed coaches 2 1/2 years ago. I have installed 3k inverters for years. -
Inverter required for residential refrigerator

One note One note of caution. I installed a Haier refrigerator and the compressor failed in 4 months. I was told there is no warranty because it was installed in a motorhome. I would get a written statement from them stating it is ok in a motorhome. I now have a Insignia from Best Buy. I called Insignia factory a was told it is ok to install in a motorhome and they also told me of the 3 year warranty extension for $100. I bought the warranty so now it is good for 5 years. I use a 3000 watt Xantrex with 6 AGMs. 800 watt solar with a MPPT 40 amp charge controller. I am currently at the FMCA Gillette and if anyone wants to see my install call me 702-497-9946. -
