Seattle Or Vancouver To Leave Motorhome For Cruise
desertdeals69 replied to dsteedley's question in Destinations/Attractions
The first time we cruised to Alaska we found a campground in Burnaby BC near Vancouver. This was in 2001 and we went on a week cruise, were in the campground for 10 nights. They ran us down to the cruise dock and picked us up when we got back. We then went to Alaska for 6 weeks. -
Roger, I will be in the PNO/GB/Com lot with no elec. I will look you up or you could look me up, F31175 Bruce Chong. I have been wiring your type of situation for some 42 years with inverters, relays etc. I will draw you a wiring diagram of what you need.

Roger, we can talk about it at Indy in a couple of weeks. I have a solution to your dilemma.

What is a Harvesthost?

Why don't you just put a outlet receptacle on the end off the inverter power cord and plug the fridge into it?

2014 Equinox Steering Goes Unstable While Towing

A simple way to eliminate the sideways movement is to drill and tap 1/2 inch holes on the side of the receiver one behind and one ahead of the hitch pin. Use a bolt and jam nut and take out the movement. I've been doing this on all my motorhomes for the last 42 years. I will be at Indy next month if anyone wants to see how its done. -
I changed out my radiator when I did my engine swap. It was all nuts and bolts. I used a 1000 lb jack table and It worked good. I exchanged out my mechanical 5.9 Cummins and 4 speed Allison for a ISB Cummins 275 and a Allison MD3060 6 speed. The new engine took a larger radiator and CAC. I drove that coach for 150,000 miles in 16 years and just sold it in April.

I don't know what the big deal is about letting trailers in. At Perry 2011 I was crew leader for family electric and I also parked a group of trailers. There have been trailers since then. -
On my last motorhome I selected three different brands of tvs so I wouldn't have the remote control conflict. With the cheap prices on the new tvs replacing one is not that expensive. I saw a 32 inch at Walmart for $125.

Thats one of the reasons you don't shut down a hot turbo.

There are GFCI made all amp ratings. On one of the 30 amp service in front of Mike's Custom Painting there is a GFCI.

The weight of each corner determines the correct cold pressure. The chart that each brand of tire has will list the correct pressure. The heaviest position on each axle is the determining pressure for the tires on that axle.

I'm Chinese and I'm on the technical advisory committee. I was one of the founders of the Colorado River Ramblers in 1981. -
I don't think there would be more new trailer owners that would join than current members who would drop out.

The way they are made is with a sand mold filled with molten aluminum. If you can find a foundry that does sand casting all you need is the pattern. The pattern is made out of wood. The one foundry that I know of is in Dollywoods craftsmen alley. I spoke to them and they said they would cast one in aluminum if I brought in the pattern.

My Surge Guard takes about 137 seconds to turn on, the count down is shown on the readout panel.

What kind of wear? With 39K there shouldn't be enough wear to cause replacement. Check shocks, alignment, balance. Check with Les Swab, I got the tire you are using, on the FMCA plan from them in Warrenton on the coast.

I would use a spout that screws onto the bottle and you can add an extension hose if needed. Some spouts have a shut off valve built in, which makes it easier to control flow.

Generally probably not. I changed a steel spring diesel pusher 32 ft to air bags and the ride was very similar. What I could do is to change the ride hight front to back and side to side.

Surge brakes are ok if you don't go down long steep hills as the brakes are activated constantly if you are using the exhaust brake. -
Try 303 it may surprise you, mine had oxidation and it cleared up.

I do not have the paper work because it was for my friend while I was visiting him in Ct. This was 2 years ago. The one you looked up may have been for a right hand door. The one we got was for the drivers door, pretty sure of the year 89 but they may not have made the LTD that year so see if another model of full size has the right picture. I know is was a Ford product. I had no idea of what make and model it was when we walked in the door so we had to look through a lot of pictures on the computer.

What does the factory say about it? I have never used a Magnum as I have always used Xantrex although they still have issues. We are starting our 41 year motorhoming using about 10 different motorhomes. In the 70s the inverters didn't have chargers.

I prolonged the life of my decals on a 93 Coachmen DP for 19 years with 303. Then I had a full body paint job.
