  1. I'm Chinese and I'm on the technical advisory committee. I was one of the founders of the Colorado River Ramblers in 1981.
  2. I don't think there would be more new trailer owners that would join than current members who would drop out.

    FMCA Plates

The way they are made is with a sand mold filled with molten aluminum. If you can find a foundry that does sand casting all you need is the pattern. The pattern is made out of wood. The one foundry that I know of is in Dollywoods craftsmen alley. I spoke to them and they said they would cast one in aluminum if I brought in the pattern.
  4. My Surge Guard takes about 137 seconds to turn on, the count down is shown on the readout panel.
  5. What kind of wear? With 39K there shouldn't be enough wear to cause replacement. Check shocks, alignment, balance. Check with Les Swab, I got the tire you are using, on the FMCA plan from them in Warrenton on the coast.
  6. I would use a spout that screws onto the bottle and you can add an extension hose if needed. Some spouts have a shut off valve built in, which makes it easier to control flow.
  7. Generally probably not. I changed a steel spring diesel pusher 32 ft to air bags and the ride was very similar. What I could do is to change the ride hight front to back and side to side.
  8. Surge brakes are ok if you don't go down long steep hills as the brakes are activated constantly if you are using the exhaust brake.
  9. Try 303 it may surprise you, mine had oxidation and it cleared up.
  10. I do not have the paper work because it was for my friend while I was visiting him in Ct. This was 2 years ago. The one you looked up may have been for a right hand door. The one we got was for the drivers door, pretty sure of the year 89 but they may not have made the LTD that year so see if another model of full size has the right picture. I know is was a Ford product. I had no idea of what make and model it was when we walked in the door so we had to look through a lot of pictures on the computer.
  11. What does the factory say about it? I have never used a Magnum as I have always used Xantrex although they still have issues. We are starting our 41 year motorhoming using about 10 different motorhomes. In the 70s the inverters didn't have chargers.
  12. I prolonged the life of my decals on a 93 Coachmen DP for 19 years with 303. Then I had a full body paint job.
  13. When I went to Auto Zone they had all the pictures and we just matched it up. It may not have been and LTD but another model but I remembered it was an 89 but there could be more than one year since they are not going to have a new motor design every year.
  14. Since Coachnet seems to just arrange for the service I see little benefit in todays world. Back in the 90s they were a technical resource center, I know because them being located next to our RV repair shop they would ask us tech questions from time to time.
  15. I think that having the color computer matched is better because it takes into account fading.
  16. That seems to be the current state of Coach Net these days. I think they did a much better job before they moved out of Lk Havasu City. They were a few doors up from my RV repair shop when they first moved to town and I used to talk to them quite often. This was back in the 90's and I loaned them my mapping software as they were still using paper maps.
  17. It came with the motor and the gearbox.
  18. ISB The 1/2 inch fuel line from the pickup came in the kit with snap on connectors.
  19. A balancing bead manufacturer sent me a set of beads to test. They sent the right weight for the size of tire. Have gone 2k miles in the last 2 weeks and they seem to do the job. It has been smooth up to 75 mph. Thats as fast as I have been.
  20. We use the iPhone for trip routing. I think it is already on the phone. It even gives current traffic delays by changing the color on the route from blue to red and then to yellow. We were just on I 70 in Missouri.
  21. I would try repairing the broken cable by using waterproof coax connectors. They have o-rings and are supposed to be water resistant. If the tv works then I would tape it with silicone mending tape.
  22. If ride is the issue I would go with Michelins. Toyos are about half the price but have a little stiffer side wall because they are a truck tire. I have Michelins on the front and Toyos on the rear.
  23. I can hear it running standing next to it outside but don't hear it inside the coach. I have the Air Dog with the filters as part of the unit. 1/2 inch fuel line from the tank and a 5/16 inch return line to the tank.
  24. I think that is for national directors and committee members.
