Beware, Fleetwood (REV Group) may not be bolting the body to the chassis any more.

Looks like the coach took a solid hit on the left front.  Something that ran down that side, which can't be seen in the pictures, and sheered attachment bolts?  Even so, a very strange happening.   On a second look, noticing the chassis, too, it looks a bit like it got clipped by something like a flatbed trailer or some other very heavy perimeter frame.

We had an 09 Allegiance that did not have the right front of the frame/coach welded or bolted together...all up under the pax seat.

It's on Hwy 395. Driver ran off road, hit the embankment, then slid across all 4 lanes and came to rest in ditch...driver was still in seat and was cut out off seat belt. No injury!  It really was inn the news.

I was in Reno last week and it was on the local news, accident happens on 395 north of Susanville CA.  Hwy 395 is 4 lanes when you leave Reno until you pass the CA inspection station which is 80 miles south of Susanville CA.   There are many areas that have passing lanes that have 3 lanes.  I drove this route on my return home and was on the lookout to determine where it might have happened, but was unable to locate any signs of an accident.

Not sure why people are so intent on showing how we're not seeing what we're seeing...

Look under the rear of the coach body - you'll see a number of faint markingts on the ground which are parallel to the broader white marking. It is clearing something that scraped the ground and created a line. Since the body was traveling in a straight line it shouldn't be an issue that the scraping on the pavement is straight as well.

The nose of the coach has white bumper. The bumper would have stuck out proud from the body a tad, so it makes sense that it bore the brunt of the weight. Also, note that the white line in question ends directly under the coach. I'd guess that the very end of it is directly under the front bumper.

This is not a matter of 'fake news', it is just that we cannot see the entire situation from the few photos that we're privy to.

The second white line is actually a white scrape from the front of the MH fiberglass nose.

Why then are the faint sliding marks not parallel to the broad white line? They should be parallel if the same coach sliding action made both.

Whoever began the thread about this on irv2.com posted a link to a facebook screenshot. It is not written with language common to law enforcement. It had a seal of the CHP, like it's hard to copy any seal or emblem..

Really - enough with the conspiracy theories & cries of fake news. The posting is public on the CHP - Susanville page. Take it up with them if you think it's fake. There is no point in us hashing this out here.

There is so much BS on social media today that my manure filter is requiring cleaning about once and hour.  A shot of whiskey will help clean it.
