  1. Have had beads in my drive tires with valve extenders for two yeaars now. Work great, no problems so far....
  2. Agree with Bill. Our RV dealer told us in 2010 when we traded our 2001 Suncruiser that an RV less than 10 years old will attract a higher resale price as financing options are more plentiful for potential buyers.
  3. I agree with Wildebill. Your water heater likely has a check valves on th outlet which is stuck. Replacing it is the only solution. This happened on my 2001 Suncruiser several years back.
  4. Contact Winnebago direct in Iowa. They carry all replacement parts and ship any where.
  5. Sorry, I read more into your thought "That is on the assumption that you can find any real reason that you need this thing on your coach." than you meant,,,,
  6. I proudly display my oval and will do so until such time I withdraw from FMCA. Glad to hear others are interested in doing so as well. BillA, why such a Debbie Downer?
  7. According to my owners manual for my 2009 Workhorse W series chassis, the correct differential rear axle fluid is Chevron Delo Gear ESI SAE 80W-90 gear oil. I believe the filler plug is easily removed with a wrench, no heating applied. I usually have this done when the MH is in for service. Very inexpensive.
  8. I use EverStart Deep Cycle batteries from Wal-Mart. reasonably priced and as long as you maintain their levels, long lasting.
  9. What temperature is your hot water tank set at? If not max, turn it up. Your problem will be solved.
  10. aztec7fan Agree with you 100 %. I am sure many others do too!
  11. Can you reach out directly the lock manufacturer? Perhaps they can help.
  12. Sorry to hear that. I have always had good results and great support from them. Oh well, was worth a shot.
  13. Mark, Did you try starting the genny with the motorhome engine running?
  14. Family Motor Coaching magazine, January 2017 edition, has a great article covering the rules of entry into Canada. Page 84, Border Crossings. A great overview. If you have already tossed your copy, you can view the edition online still.
  15. F470227 Have you contacted Winnebago for assistance? Also, havd you registered with them as a 2nd owner? If not go to the Winnebago website (winnebagoind.com), click on "resources", click on ""second owner registration". Have your MH's Winnebago serial number handy. Can be found in driverside doir plate. Oncd done, call or email, you may be surprised at what they know about your coach.

    Tire Blowouts

Age. Driving on tires older than 7 years is a huge contributor.
  17. Why not change the bylaws to allow for online voting now? Show the younger generation that FMCA is progressive and move forwatd into the 21st century?
  18. We've been using a brake buddy for a good 10 years now. Has been dependable and trouble free. On our third different toad vehicle so glad we went with the box option. Paid about $800 for it back then....
  19. Chindog, do you have the Blue Beacon app? It's helpful in locating washes although only a handful in the states u mentioned..
  20. Filled in the application online, paid via CC at same time, valid and in place a day later. Coverage document and confrmation thru email.
  21. Real chili always has beans! Sorry couldn't resist..
  22. When at home I wash mine, 38 ft, in the driveway. Use cold water tide in a bucket, wash with a brush, rinse off with a hose. Start off with the roof. Takes about 2 hours. When on the road, if needed, use Blue Beacon truck washes. MH and toad, approx $55. (60+ feet) Mark,$45 for your rig, may be overpriced.....
  23. We drive a 2010 Itasca Suncruiser (gasser), 38 foot, pulling a mid size pick up truck, and average anywhere from 7.5 to 8.5 mpg at average highway speed of 64 mph. Although this is a diesel conversation, just thought I would throw this in for fun....
  24. We have travelled the route several times on our way to BC. Very scenic but yes it is a very slow route, mainly because it is mostly a 2 lane highway, lots of truck traffic, 80-90 km/hr speed limit, and limited passing opportunities. it is also quite hilly in spots which really slows the truck traffic. You should also be mindful of the higher price of fuel in Northern Ontario. Gas is currently funning around $1.12 to 1.21 a liter. (there are 3.78 Liters in a US gallon) So you can expect to spend more.
