With the Hopper I can have both front and bedroom TVs at the same time on different channels Herman

Mdroin, If you have Dish Network you can have the Hopper installed. With the Hopper you can have wireless Joies. With them you only need a short HDMI cable. I have it in our coach and it works great. Herman

Does the Excursion have a tag axle? If so 10 air bags if not 8. Herman

Brett, Check out the new Roadmaster Freightliner chassis on the Monaco web site. I saw the new chassis in Perry . Can't remember if it was 2014 or 2016. Herman

Paul, Check with one of your local Truck Shops. They may not replace it for you but a good parts man should be able to get a part number and or even order it for you. Does it air up at all? if it does, then does it loose air slowly or quickly? If slowly it may be an air line leaking. You may already know it but your chassis is a Roadmaster. During all the time when Monaco went bankrupt was sold the Roadmaster chassis was sold to Freightliner. They may be able to assist you with a part number. Herman

Connect On The Go - Round 2
hermanmullins replied to BillAdams's topic in RV Internet to Go/Staying in Touch
Bill for all of us that travel a great deal but still have Brick and Stick home have another issue. There are all of these ads on TV about how you can monitor your home with security cameras an door bell that can tell you who may be at your door plus all the ways to turn the heat up or down, close the garage door and so on. for all these you need a land line or at least a WiFi modem in the house. When we built our home the only phone service available was Verizon with no fiber optics and don't provide Hi Speed Internet. But we have AT&T cell phones with Hot Spots and now the MiFi from Verizon that work great in our All Metal home. And we stay connected. Never had an area without service other than Yellow Stone. Keep those cards and letters coming, we will get to then eventually. Season Greetings to all. Herman -
How Do MH Engine Batteries Receive Their Charge?
hermanmullins replied to bburns8's topic in Electrical
The cable you now have is 1/0 sometimes referred to as "One Ought" Your best bet would be to purchase the cable from a Welding Supply House if you are planning on making them yourself. A hardware store is a good place to find the lugs. You will need 1/0 X 5/16 copper lugs for your house batteries since they have threaded post. Herman -
Invoice Pricing From Freightliner/Chrysler
hermanmullins replied to Reeltachy's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
If you have a buyer for your coach and he has the cash or financing you can work a deal with the dealer you are buying from. The dealer can make your deal with your coach saving the 6.25% (in Texas) on the trade in. He will turn around and Sell your coach to the person that wants to purchase it at the trade in price plus the cost of doing the Paper work. We did this many time when I was in the boat business. The only one that may loose would be the State, but they would still get the tax on the trade in. We generally charged the trade in purchaser around $300.00. Herman -
Your front slide is hydraulic and the cylinders are push/pulls. The units are HWH and I would give them a call. Please be patient, sometime it takes awhile for the tech to respond. Herman

Oh what a tangle web we weave when we practice to deceive. Herman -
The recall was for sticking calipers and would be a safety recall and must be fixed regardless of warranty or age. Herman

Death is the only way to stop accelerated aging when you have children. However Grand Children really slows the process down. Congrats Chris. One or 12 they are all a blessing. Herman

Entertainment? It is akin to the DW harping on you about leaving the toilet seat up. WE GET IT. Herman

No matter which ERS we have it is frustrating when any of us has a break down and need the ERS. All of the companies that offer Road Side assistance have all fallen down on the job. They are so interested in having coverage they are not investigating the company to see if they are capable of handling Large Vehicles such as MH and or Large trucks. this goes even for AAA who has been in road side assistance for so long. When we have a break down and are waiting for the service person to respond the clock slows down to a crawl (or it really seems that way). Herman

Invoice Pricing From Freightliner/Chrysler
hermanmullins replied to Reeltachy's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
The invoiced price is not what the dealer pays for vehicles. There are a number of discounts off invoice. Such as dated billing, quantiy discounts, delivery adjustments, last year vehicles the list goes on. Herman -
Neal, Wonderful family history. You should be very proud. Herman

Has any one heard the rumor the both Norcold and Domectic are bring out Residential 110 volt units??????????? That would fit the current openings. If so then you may hear of a residential catching on fire. I am sorry that isn't fair. Herman

Have everyone in the FMCA Energized, at least 20 sign the petition to Form a Chapter, elect a slate of officers inclding a National Director and walla your group not has recognition and a voice. You only need to have one or two Chapter business meetings a year and they be at each National Rally. Since your membership will be from all over it could be in the INTO Area. Then you would have a VOICE. Herman
