  1. Agree with the Pink in the Gray & Black tanks, however it would be the Fresh Water tanks I was referring to, as it is under the two holding tanks. As with a ham , "The closer to the bone the better the Meat." "The closer to the ground the colder the feet (snik). Herman
  2. bgreen, Take a look on the left side of the passengers seat. there should be two levers. One is for the rotate and the other is for recline. Both of these are connected from the lever to there respective job. Take a look at the back of the two levers and their cables. Your recline lever cable may be stuck. May need one of two things. One just a bit of spray lube or two replacement of the cable. If second then a call to Flexsteel is in order. Herman
  3. Five, I hope you aren't angry. Typing entirely the a bold font sometime indicate anger. Bold Font is mainly used to High Light a item or point. Herman
  4. Warranty may be the thing to look into. The Picture shows a Test Date of 12/05/16. It wouldn't hurt to check. It would be like giving Chicken Soup to a Dead Man, "It may not Help, But it Can't Hurt". Herman
  5. So many thing going through my head that I can't post. Brett would put me so far back in time out I would not see day light for a month. Where we lived for better than 40 years the High School was know as McKinney High School. The sporting goods stores would order University of Michigan Ball Caps. Blue and Gold "M", Same as McKinney's colors. Herman
  6. Ron, My only suggestion would be to heed everyone that has been to Canada with a TEXAS tag. Leave the guns at home, even if is a toy. The Canadians feel that every on in Texas still packs a Six Shooter. Herman
  7. Roland, That's a very good question. To or Not to. In the past before I our insulated Barn/garage I would winterized the coach by draining the water tank and hot water tank, blow out the water lines and put Pick RV Antifreeze in all drains, toilet and holding tanks. As far as the heater in the Water Bay, I would be concerned about it tipping over going down the road. Plus I am not sure that when driving down the Highway with temps. in the single digits how cold the water tank would get from the hwy. Lots of variables here. My only thought would be to turn on every heater you have, bundle up, cross your legs and head South as fast as the law will allow. Be safe. Herman
  8. Rich, We had a Rally in Burleson, just south of Ft. Worth, TX. We had an Ice Storm topped with Snow. Folks were finally able to get on the road by Wednesday morning. One fellow was driving home which was less the 50 miles. The ice on the top of his coach flew off and landed on top of his hood and windshield. The hood and windshield both had to be replaced and repaired. State police have a good reason for not taking kindly to flying ICE. Stay Safe and Warm. Herman
  9. You may say Go Saints if you preface with NO. In New Orleans Saints. Herman
  10. No Jeff, I think jimnorman want you to mail him the proposals. Herman Sorry Jeff, the Devil made me do it.
  11. Brett, Again I quote Edith and Archie "Those were the Days". Herman
  12. I have an opening on January 15, 2035 at 9:15 AM. Do you want that? Herman
  13. Bobbie and I didn't get into RVing until 2000. We bought a Ferin Ultrastar 28' class A. The only camping I had ever done was as a Boy Scout on Week end, Summer Camps and as a BSA Counselor. Bobbie had never done any camping. One day when I was at a shop picking the coach, I picked up a magazine and thought this is a nice magazine pulled out the card, filed it out thinking I was subscribing to the magazine. Low and behold I had joined this thing called FMCA. A few days later we were having dinner with some friend and mentioned it to him. He Jump in and said I needed to join a Chapter and had an application on an email almost before we got home. Ben told me that we had to go to a FMCA National Rally. He said there would be anywhere from 6 to 7,000 coaches there, where I replied, "Ben why would I want to go somewhere there would be 12,000 people I don't know". Look at me now! After the Ferin we traded for a 32' Monaco Windser and then up to our current 40' Monaco Dynasty. We now go to every National Rally we can and always Volunteer, I have been President of the Lone Star Chapter and have just been elected to 1st VP of Lone Star. Have been Parking Lt., Parking Captain, Southern Region VP and now am Senior VP for the Six-State Rally Association. Bobbie and I have grown to love going to visit Family, making trips just for the heck of it and best of all, we have made some friends allover the country. We have grown to love each and everyone of them. Can't wait to see what is over the next hill or around the next bend in the road. Herman & Bobbie
  14. Mine are 28" blades. Secured with a small 7 mm bolt that also holds the washer head. Jim sorry but I do as much of the repairs on the MH as I can. It has saved me a bundle over the years. However I do know when to leave it to the professionals. Besides I don't charge myself $140/Hr. I do a lot of repairs for folks and have never charged one red cent. I just enjoy helping others. Herman
  15. There must be operator error. I have had the MiFi since last May. Never ever had an issue with the device and I am as dumb as dirt when it comes to Electronics. Sorry. Have you visited a Verizon Store and asked for help? It's free. Herman
  16. We keep an old white sock with sulfur powder in is with a knot tied at the top. Makes a perfect duster for when you are going out into un-mowed grass and weeds. A good thing to keep in the coach is a Gallon of Spectraside (spelling?) Bug Stop. when you know there are ant around spray it around the tires, mud flats, and all hoses. It will kill any insect that crosses it. Herman
  17. One of the big problem is the Alarm sound the same for Low Coolant, Low Oil, Low air Pressure and even the Jacks. If idiot light don't come on some times hard to know one from the other. Herman

David, Is your coach a Gas or Diesel pusher. If it is a pusher have you tried barking up your drive? Be careful doing this may cause the front to drag then. Also if it is a pusher do you have air bags. If so you can raise the coach with the bags a give you more clearance. Just some thought. Herman
  19. I have found a good source for lots of RV items. Walmart Online. They have good prices and you can pick most items up at the store with no freight and they will have in a couple of days. Just thought some may like to know. Herman
  20. Ed & Joan, Welcome to FMCA and the Forum. There will someone that can tell you of good parks near DW. We haven't been there since 1984 when the cost of the 3 day tickets for our family of 5 was an unheard of $185.00 total. The time are a changin. Again welcome to FMCA, you now have a Family of 75,000+ and they all expect a Christmas card. Herman

David You can get a roller that mounts on you receiver hitch, Not sure if it would carry the weight of you MH. My brother-in-law had a similar issue at his home and found that when he went in at slight angle he would not drag. Herman
  22. You did a pretty good job for not knowing how to post a picture. If I remember, you put a bit of pressure on the blade by pushing it backwards. That should release the button that is holding the blade to the arm. However if you have a new blade there should be some instructions on the back of the package showing the correct method to remove and replace the blade. Herman
  23. If the Wiper is like I remember, you pull the arm out and then fold the blade back over the arm to you. It should slide out. But sorry I can't be sure without seeing the arm and blade. Herman
  24. Brett, Are your bags out in the passageway yet (aka hall)? Or is that this night? Hope your Dad had a wonderful time, it was nice of you to do it for him. Herman
  25. Tom, It has been many year since I was there. Does Gibson Guitars still have the location where you can watch every step in the making of a Banjo? I like you and Louise, love to see and watch anything mechanical. Herman
