Tow, I wonder if the issue you mention had anything to do with the latest information about Apple and their batteries. We have use our cell phones as a Hot Spot for some time with nary a problem.When home I tether to the computer and it keeps the phone charged like Ross said. Hope to see you in Perry. Herman

Thank you JK. It helps you when the first thing you are always asked, "did you check the fuse?", there it is. I am sure , as Winnebago and you felt it was due to the cold. Roland, Go south as fast and safely as possible till you hit I-20 then turn West to I-10 and keep on going West. Going North from Michigan to get to Arizona in January is, pardon me but, insane. Freezing temperatures, no RV parks open in the winter time and maybe no snow but what about Black Ice. Head South to go West young man. Herman

Lots of items in the coach think it is funny and giggle going down the highways and they sometime jiggle loose to. I had a loose ground in my Inverter and it was so bad that I took it out and had it bench tested and it was fine. I thought my ground felt a bit loose when i took it out. Made sure all was very tight when I reinstalled it no problems since. Herman

Rob, As Carl said call HWH. I love the company and they do great work. If I have Leveling or Slide issues I will call them and make an appointment to go to the Factory. I can guarantee the job will be done right and at a much lower cost. They have hookups to stay overnight. However when they close and lock the gate you are there till morning. Benny, My first thought when I saw you Topic Title "Homer Alaska RV Parks", was why in the H would you be looking this time of the year then I read further. JUNE, It may be a bad time for your friend to be looking at the RV Parks now. Most are probably closed and under snow. We have never been there but it is on our bucket list. David, The 6 volt Batteries you have now are golf cart deep cycle batteries. If you are looking to replace them with 12 volt deep cycle batteries you will find that they are much larger batteries. I have seen newer coaches and newer Golf carts using 12 volt deep cycle batteries. Here an other case where size does mater. You might check with someone like Interstate Batteries and see what they have in size and Amp Hours and Cold Cranking Amps. You may have more Amp Hours with 4 6 volt than with 2 12 volt. In either case be sure you are discussing Deep Cycle Batteries and not Start Batteries when talking to a dealer. Herman

Each time we return from a trip, I check the Water level on all 4 of my 6 volt deep cycle batteries and fill as necessary. Then I do the same just before we leave on our next excursion. To top off my batteries I have a pump up sprayer filled with Distilled Water. I cut the spray nozzle off and just use it to top off each cell. Herman

Jim try unplugging it to see if the alarm quits. This would rule out the module. Better have the DW listen since you appear to be among the rest of us with selective hearing. Herman

Would agree but Leaveittobeaver said that the from tires were 255s and the rear were 275s. He also said that the data plate called for 255/75R/22.5 all around. Could understand if the 275s were on the front for better weight capacity, but not the other way around. 275s on the rear would make the speedo off if it was set for 255s. Herman

Jim, I think you might find the sensor in the overflow reservoir. Herman

Agree, had my chassis batteries discharging in two days. Had my trickle charger on when parked. I would check it one time and the light would be blinking sayings it wasn't charging. Unplug and plugged it in and it would begin to charge. Got both Fully charged, disconnected both and load tested both. One in the green the other in the red. Replaced both and now the Trickle Charger stays in the Green (fully charged and maintaining). I have told this before, but will tell it again. I have a small Trickle Charger that stay connected to my Chassis Batteries. It is plugged into the Block Heater outlet in my engine compartment. When driving down the road the plug is dead. When on the Gen. or shore power the plug is how. This help maintain the chassis batteries to off set those troublesome trolls that always seem to draw in the batteries. Works well for me. Herman

Not disputing the ride height difference but I am having a hard time seeing how a 1 inch difference over an 8 foot span could shift 2,000 pounds from one side to the other. One of the first things I would do would be to unload the coach and have the coach re weighted. If there is still a 2,000 lb difference then it has to be how the coach was laid out. What items are on each side that may effect the weight. i am trying to visualize what could make that much of a difference. Herman

As a young child around 6 or 7, my Grandmother was making Fruit Cakes. I ate sooo much of the candied fruit that I was sick for three days. And to this day I can't stand the sight of Fruit Cake.
