  1. Soooo many things going through my mind with Carl C. getting "a warn fuzzy feeling" Herman
  2. Ryan, if that works for you that is the way to go. However I had an issue with my 4 X 4 switch. I told the dealership service writer that mine would not go into 4 X 4 neutral they checked it out and told me that it was working and that there was written instructions, on my seat, they got from the factory on how to shift into 4 X 4 neutral and that is where I got #4 in my above Instructions. It has never failed me since. Herman
  3. Bill A, If you have a Wineguard dome and have signal issues, call Wineguard and they will sell you a Traveler 1000 at a very nice discount. Rounded off, new $950 and remanufactured $750. New = 2 years parts, 1 year labor. Remand = 1 year parts & labor. My remand. I swear was brand new. The only request was that you send a picture of the destroyed dome. Herman
  4. Wineguard Traveler 1000. Put it on myself. Already had a Dish 211 receiver. Got it mounted and working on the 211 and called Dish. They came out and install the Hopper. Herman
  5. Bigbillsd do you by some chance volunteer in parking at National?
  6. Welcome to the Forum. I think that I saw a Jump Start unit with a charger and Air Compressor at Sam's Club. It may be OK to top off a tire but wouldn't rely on it to air up a really low tire. Herman
  7. 10-4 on M & G Engineering Braking system. Herman
  8. Here is the Procedure to put your Sierra in 4 wheel drive neutral. 1) With your vehicles engine running, Set your vehicle parking Park. 2) Put your vehicle in Neutral and put your foot down on the brake pedal. 3) Turn your selector Knob quickly all the way to the right and hold it for a slow count of 10. 4) Then slowly rotate the knob to the Left. As you slowly rotate the knob to the left your "N" light will come on. At the same time your dash message center will display "Traction control is off". At this point I make it a point to Release the Parking Brake and while the engine is still running place the shift lever in gear to make sure you are in 4 wheel drive neutral. Then turn the engine off and when it has died put the shiftier in Park and you are ready to tow. Herman
  9. Bob, One of the best ways to put a load on the generator would be to turn on the Heat Pumps (Heat strips) in the AC unit. If you do not have Heat pumps then turn on the ACs . Herman
  10. Bob, In Yellowstone there is one Park that I know that has Full Hook Ups, " Fishing Bridge". When we were there several year ago, the max length was 40 foot. All sites are back ins and narrow, but a great place. Have not stayed in the Tetons. Herman
  11. Have used RV Glass Solutions and RvFog Dr. And both are fine companies and do very good work. Herman
  12. With the Hopper I can have both front and bedroom TVs at the same time on different channels Herman
  13. Mdroin, If you have Dish Network you can have the Hopper installed. With the Hopper you can have wireless Joies. With them you only need a short HDMI cable. I have it in our coach and it works great. Herman
  14. Does the Excursion have a tag axle? If so 10 air bags if not 8. Herman
  15. Brett, Check out the new Roadmaster Freightliner chassis on the Monaco web site. I saw the new chassis in Perry . Can't remember if it was 2014 or 2016. Herman
  16. Paul, Check with one of your local Truck Shops. They may not replace it for you but a good parts man should be able to get a part number and or even order it for you. Does it air up at all? if it does, then does it loose air slowly or quickly? If slowly it may be an air line leaking. You may already know it but your chassis is a Roadmaster. During all the time when Monaco went bankrupt was sold the Roadmaster chassis was sold to Freightliner. They may be able to assist you with a part number. Herman
  17. I have both FMCA and community.fmca/topic/11823-forum on my tool bar. Community for the Forum and FMCA for all other business. Herman
  18. Wayne, You might need to get out more, 16 seconds, sounds like your life is in a really slow mood or you need to remove the cookies from your computer. Herman
  19. Bill for all of us that travel a great deal but still have Brick and Stick home have another issue. There are all of these ads on TV about how you can monitor your home with security cameras an door bell that can tell you who may be at your door plus all the ways to turn the heat up or down, close the garage door and so on. for all these you need a land line or at least a WiFi modem in the house. When we built our home the only phone service available was Verizon with no fiber optics and don't provide Hi Speed Internet. But we have AT&T cell phones with Hot Spots and now the MiFi from Verizon that work great in our All Metal home. And we stay connected. Never had an area without service other than Yellow Stone. Keep those cards and letters coming, we will get to then eventually. Season Greetings to all. Herman
  20. The cable you now have is 1/0 sometimes referred to as "One Ought" Your best bet would be to purchase the cable from a Welding Supply House if you are planning on making them yourself. A hardware store is a good place to find the lugs. You will need 1/0 X 5/16 copper lugs for your house batteries since they have threaded post. Herman
  21. If you have a buyer for your coach and he has the cash or financing you can work a deal with the dealer you are buying from. The dealer can make your deal with your coach saving the 6.25% (in Texas) on the trade in. He will turn around and Sell your coach to the person that wants to purchase it at the trade in price plus the cost of doing the Paper work. We did this many time when I was in the boat business. The only one that may loose would be the State, but they would still get the tax on the trade in. We generally charged the trade in purchaser around $300.00. Herman
  22. OH boy here it comes! Herman
  23. When in doubt go to the mat. A quote from the God Father. Take your Cell phone out of your pocket, punch in the number 513-474-3622, when the nice lady answers, ask for Amy. When Amy answers ask her the simple question "What is the cost for 50 amp service in Perry. Walla, you will have the $$ for your question. Or in your case, make sure your Princess Phone is connected to the wall outlet, then put you finger in the small hole and dial 513-474-3622 and when the nice answers ask for Amy. Repeat the last question. At this point you may sing "It Is No Secret What Carl has Done". Your enduring Friend, Herman
  24. Carl, It may just be the system that I use, but I don't have an issue with ads. I use my PC at home, my Laptop in the coach and my phone else where. I use the MiFi for all. And my speed depends on where we are and the strength of the signal. If you and Linda are going to Tyler Oaks, lets compare units. Herman
