  1. I have to say that some coaches with no slides are laid out nicely and seem to have room. Maybe not enough for some but good enough for others. Herman
  2. That's why they make RVs with slides and without. Everyone has their preference's. I for one like slides(when they work). Herman
  3. Reading this topic conjures so many visions and laughs. Ray you really know how to make every ones days. But seriously, we are all glad you got the clog unstopped . Herman
  4. C-929402, Welcome to the Forum. I had no idea what a Hymer Aktiv Class "B" was. I looked it up and see it is a German Coach. Can you send some pictures of the awning and make of awning as Bill asked? Herman
  5. Which are you planning on towing, a GMC or a Subaru? You have posted the the same question about each. If in fact you want to know about towing a GMC and it is 4 wheel drive, then the answer is YES. Over the past 9 years I have towed three different Chevrolet Pickups and a GMC Yukon. I used Blue Ox Tow Bar and Base Plates with a M & G air brake on each of them. I have been happy with this setup, Just purchased a new Blue Ox tow bar in Gillette. Herman
  6. Ray, I'm glad you didn't tell this story at lunch in Gillette. It might have been hard to eat while laughing. Glad you were able to clear the clog. Carl is headed to Ace Hardware to get the pressure tool. I just hope he doesn't need it when parked close to me😂. Herman
  7. Gentleman I understand there is frustration here, however arguing won't reverse nor change anyone's mind. Let's all agree to disagree and leave it alone. If the arguing continues I will close the Topic. Herman
  8. Welcome to the Forum. This Coach wouldn't be at Motorhomes of Texas, would it? If so it is a nice looking coach. Herman
  9. Go to search and type in a word in the topic you are looking for. The all topics with that word in it will show. Then you can sort through then till the one you are looking for comes up. Herman

  11. Denchili, Welcome to the Forum. We are going to need a lot more information. Engine size and exactly what your issue is. Again Welcome
  12. I may be mistaken but looking at the tail lights and hub caps it may be from the sixty's. They remind me of a Lincoln from that aria. I noticed that it must be all aluminum with all the rivets. I would like to see it restored. It would be a conversation piece. Herman
  13. Welcome to the Forum. If I'm not mistaken Camping World carries Brake Buddy and should carry the breake away switch. Herman
  14. Simon welcome to the Forum. Does your Diplomat have slides? If so check all of your bay doors under each slide. Monaco has Safety Switches to keep the slide from coming in case a bay door might be open under the slide. I know this from experience. Again Welcome, Herman

  20. Battery Isolater is an easy check. Center post is from alternator. Lower post most times is to house bank and upper is to chassis batteries. With volt meter and engine running test all three post. Center post measures alternator, should be approximately 13.75 volts. Both of the others should be the same. If not then you have a battery Isolater. Be sure all terminals are clean. Herman
  21. Saturday morning at the General Membership Meeting. Herman
  22. Parked at the Cam-Plex in Gillette Wyoming. Enjoying the company of old and dear friends. The weather is hot and dry and the food is great. Herman
  23. It isn't rust but Iron in the well water. Great for plants. Drain your tank and flush the system several times. Remove any filters flush then replace with new filters. Forget a lawyer and just chalk it up as another experience in RVing Herman
