Your truck has a steering wheel lock. You would need to have the key in the first notch. With this setup you won't need to disconnect your battery. Again welcome. Herman

Trish, Have you tried a good saddle soap? Saddle soap will both clean but also soften the leather. I have found one of the best methods to clean leather is by hand. Rub and massage it in by hand. Besides it will soften your hands at the same time. Herman

Bob, each zone of your system has a solenoid valve. Now this may sound different, but if you can get a small hammer and lightly tap on each solenoid. They have tendency to stick. See if this helps. Hurricane, Hydro Hot and Aqua-Hot units must be serviced every year and exercised once a month. This helps keep all parts loose and keeps the carbon from building up in the unit. Herman

There is a point to installing a smaller Pure Sine Wave inverter: Cost. If everything in your coach works on your MSW inverter but you want a Residential Refrigerator that doesn't run on MSW, why spend the big bucks on a new PSW inverter. Just purchase a 1,000 PSW for far less money and just run the refrigerator on it. Both inverters will draw from the house batteries and the MSW inverter will still charge the batteries. I hope this makes sense, it does to me. Herman

Bob, Not sure what your seal looks like so I can only give you my experience. The seal on the bottom of my Living room slide was opened so it let light and wind in. The seal was held in position by a metal strip held in place with several screws (12) along the strip. What I did was remove the screws and strip, put new holes lower on the rubber and re installed the seal. Now I have a nice seal all along the bottom. In your case it may just mean repositioning the seal. Herman

Ray, There again is one of the problems with placing an ad in a monthly publication. It take so long to set everything up. However I know you got a personal phone call from the President and he did his best to help you. Now another problem. You say there is someone coming to look at the complete rig, coach and tow. I hope you have it sold. The problem is now there may be great interest from the magazine and you will be answering calls and having to tell the caller you have already sold the coach. Had our coach was washed in Perry. They shined the Aluminum Wheels and they looked great. They also, at no charge, buffed the head lights. They aren't the best yet but they look 100% better then they did. They used a buffer. with a lambs wool pad and liquid jewelers rouge. Herman

Correct about the shore water and turning off the pump. Have left the pump on more then once and you are correct it will take both shore water and tanks water at the same time. The sound might just be the pump sucking air from an empty tank and causing air into the line. Again had this happen more than once. Herman

SL, I just installed a Samsung RF 18 residential unit. It has run on my inverter since installed. I have a Trace 2,000 watt Modified Sane Wave. It has never gone below 80% when dry camping, which we have done several times since installation. I have heard of several people installing a 1000 watt Pure Sine Wave dedicated to the Refrigerator. If you have algae in your tank you need to put an algaeside (not sure of the spelling). This will help clear up your fuel. All folks that stay in the same place for extended periods of time need to park with a full tank with a fuel conditioner. Herman

Everyone of us are out and about our coaches daily. It doesn't hurt to check your cable ever so often. I do this to check the plug and cable for excess heat. Especially when adapting for to 30 amp. Herman
