  1. Eddie, Welcome to the Forum. Since this posting hasn't been visited in over three years and the OP has only two postings they most likely won't respond. If you are having the same issue try starting a new Topic under Electrical with your question. Again Welcome. Herman
  2. If you are buying from Cruise America they would be the folks to ask. They have been renting RV's for years and can help you just like they help everyone that rents a unit from them. Ask them for help. However if you are scared to even try driving a small Class C then for everyone's sake please don't. Only you can make that decision. Herman
  3. seyne, I am assuming by "TS spartan chassis***" that the coach is a Travel Supreme. Please verify along with year, model and size. This information will really help getting you some help. Thanks, Herman
  4. Might I suggest that you try charging them. Batteries will discharge while sitting without use. I would clean all lugs and post also top off the fluids. It will be like giving Chicken Soup to a dead man, it may not help but it can't hurt.😀 Herman
  5. Are all your batteries fully charged? Herman
  6. With my experience with the older engines with a module in the distributer is that it works fine for a long time and then one day when you shut the engine off it will not restart. To me it sounds like the engine is starving for fuel. The first thing I would do would be to install an external electric fuel pump and to mount it as close to the tank as possible. Most electric pumps do mush better pushing fuel rather the pulling it for long distances. Also along the same line, has anyone thought about a slack timing chain? A 33 year old engine may just be worn by years and not miles. There have been some very good suggestion may so far. (Lot of ole gas heads out there) IMO Herman
  7. FYI, Verizon has decided to not renew their contract with FMCA. They will no longer be signing up new users. They will honor the existing users agreements until they need a replacement Jet Pack. They will not replace a J/P and end your service. Sprint Connect is still going strong with FMCA. Sorry to hear the end of the agreement and would like to thank Verizon for their service. Herman
  8. Neil, Your explanations are a bit fuzzy. Could you tell us what coach, year make and model with some pictures of your slide and awning. With that we can offer better suggestions. Herman
  9. I hear it loud and clear. Herman
  10. Yes I am. It seem like a long time but it is just taking time to build up my strength. I haven't started Heart Health Therapy yet and I am sure that when I start I will see vast improvement then. Thanks, Herman
  11. Welcome to the Forum. Assist cover the person or persons listed under the F #. It doesn't mater who is listed first. When your search a F# what you will find is the parties associated with the number will be in alpha order. Hope this helps, and again Welcome. Herman
  12. I will go with Frank, Ignition Solenoid. Quick check, turn key on and with a volt meter check for 12 volts on both large lugs. Both lugs 12 volt solenoid good, 12 volt one side solenoid bad. Herman
  13. Thank you Charlie and Richard. Herman
  14. Ed in Cleveland, Welcome to the Forum. You should have no problem as long as both are Front Wheel Drive. There are several good dolly makers out there. Some are steerable and some are not. Just be sure on setting either up you do it right. Herman
  15. poorturtle, Welcome to the Forum. I do have to agree that the tires look over inflated. Several questions, did all the trailer tire wear in the same way? How often were they rotated? I ran Goodyear G670's for several years on my motorhome. I always had cupping and excessive wear on the outer edge. I put on TOYO M144's and have not had a problem since. Goodyear makes some good automobile tires, I am not convinced that they good for Motorhomes and now maybe trailer tires. Herman
  16. I am doing great according to everyone. I am walking 10 minutes or more three time a day. Hope to soon move up to 15. I am told that my goal should be 20 minutes three times a day. Hope to be there by the time I see the Doctor on the 19th. If all goes well i should begin Heart Health Therapy soon after that. I think that will do as much as anything towards recovery. Thanks again to all. I have felt each thought and prayer. Herman
  17. Thanks Bill, I knew it was tight just didn't know how tight. Herman
  18. Welcome back Ernie. Just wanted to remind you of the Lone Star Rally in Kerrville Dec 3-4-5 at Buckhorn RV Resort. If you are interested call Buckhorn and make reservations then call Irene Renfro (521-415-4044) for forms. Two rallies are stacked on each other, one ends on Sunday and the other starts on Monday so space is limited. Would love to see you there. Herman
  19. Jerry, to join $85.00 to renew $75.00. Herman
  20. Thanks for the thoughts. I am doing as well as can be expected. I am walking more each day, am getting my apatite back and my strength is getting stronger each day. It looks as if I may get some new cloths. The day of surgery my weight was 215, this a.m. it was 191. Feeling great but I don't recommend it as a diet. Hope to see you all down the road. Herman
  21. Baylor Scott & White Heart Hospital in Plano. Herman
  22. Thanks for everyone for your thoughts and prayers, I felt each and every one of them. I am scheduled to go home tomorrow. I am tired but feeling great. God gave me a great surgeon, great surgical team and a wonderful hospital. I feel blessed. Hope to be back on the road first of December. Thanks again to all. Herman
