TT, do you have enough room to put in a battery tray. If so that would help you a great deal. Hope you find a good deal on batteries and someone to install them. Herman -

David and Susan The middle of winter is a not a time to be heading south. However going to Perry GA for the FMCA National Convention in March would be a good start. Congratulations on both of your retirements. Herman -
If the tires are at 120 psi cold just think what they are when they get hot. Herman

Before removing the oil filter why not get a new filter, fuel filter and air cleaner and do a complete service at the same time. Herman

Try Charging the Batteries then plug into the 15 amp plug and then see if your surge guard read correctly. You just may have low battery voltage and it put too much draw on the circuit. drogers, What kind of RV are we talking about? If a travel trailer it may be a Converter/Charger. If a Motorhome it may be a Inverter/Charger. Herman

If your Kia has electronic steering you may have to have the key in the acc. position. I had one vehicle that was four wheel drive but had a locking steering wheel. I took the steering wheel off, pulled the locking pin out and never had to leave the key in again. Manufactures have vacillated back and forth with having steering wheel locks and not having them. Keon, a quick way to check would be to jack the front end off the ground and try to turn the steering wheel with the key in the Off position. If the steering will turn all the way in both directions with the key Off then you should be good to go. Herman

Could you tell me what you mean by "HARMONIC OSCILLATING FRONT END". Sorry I have never heard of this before. ? Herman

Red River Truck is $114.00 per hour. I make an appointment take it in and can wait on it. Great service and great people. I have found that you always need to establish a relationship with the people that service your vehicle. Herman -

David, what type of thingies are you looking to get. Down in the southwest you can see the small type of metal carport with signs on them to build on site. Are you looking for an enclosed type building or just a carport type just to cover the RV? The cost can run from a couple of thousand to however you are willing to spend. If I see one of those add on the side of the road I will get the number and you can call them to see if there is someone in New Hampshire that will build one for you. Herman -
If I were to carry a spare for our coach I would put it in the bed of the truck we tow. I would only carry a spare if we were going on a trip into Mexico or Canada where there may very little if any tires available. It would be on a rim and not just the tire. I could, if the need arise, change a tire myself but only if necessary. I have the 20 ton bottle jack but would have to purchase a 6 foot long 1 inch drive breaker bar with the correct size socket with an extension and a long cheater bar all to just brake loose the lug nuts. (maybe this is why I have no plans on going to Mexico). Herman

One other thing fits into the equation. Those that refuse to work on RVs have had a irate owner raise HE double L when they found one spot of grease or dirt in their RV. When I am taking our coach in for service I will always cover everything I can to help the service tech do his or here job and not worry. I do appreciate them wearing foot protection just keep the carpet or flooring clean of grease or dirt. Cripes I catch HE double L from the DW when I don't clean my hands before going in the coach. That is why I don't let her pick up the coach from the shop. I will take the heat if something happens. I have several really good shops that do the work I can't. Herman
