Marvin, sorry for your problem. My first phone call would be to the Manufacturer. They need to know and may have a solution to the problem. Herman

Bill & Kim, i have found most Cummins Sales and Service Centers to be easy to work with and courteous. Herman

Edward, Welcome to the Forum Short of hiding the coach in an enclosed building covering it with a sheet of plywood there isn't much that can be done to prevent rock chips and cracks. So go and enjoy road and let the chips fall where they can. (Pun intended) Herman

IMHO this is an issue for the factory. It sounds like a structure problem. Herman

RV Dash A/C repair Dallas, Texas Area
hermanmullins replied to rrlowther's topic in Type A motorhomes
Our A/C would need Freon and when I charged it it would work fine for maybe a day. Did the same with R134A and Stop Leak. Same results. Got out my trusty wrenches and checked all connections. All were tight but one. It took maybe no more than 1/4 turn on the Hi Pressure line at the compressor. Hasn't leaked a drop since. I did spend a bit more then $19.00 on Freon and Stop leak before i found the problem. Herman -
See if you can find someone with a 2002 Georgie Boy Cruise Master and see if you can take lots of pictures. Then it may be easier to rebuild the system. Herman

As dd69 said there is a switch for the step when on the step will go in and out as the door is open and closed. Leaving the step out while in storage is not a bad thing. It help the person breaking in a place to step. The devil made do it. Herman

RV Dash A/C repair Dallas, Texas Area

Erniee, I agree on Starlight but Ryan has one of the buildings from where he has Ryan's RV Repair. I have not used him myself but have heard he does good work. Herman -
I put our RF-18 down at floor level.(No furnace) I had space at the top (about 8") and made a cabinet door that hinged up. There I repositioned my electric and water. I can change the water filter with no problem. I secured the unit to a board with recesses in it for the adjustable front feet and with "L" at the top. Tht board at the bottom was to support the unit because it protruded out about 3" . Herman

What is the correct wheel for 2018 Ford E450
hermanmullins replied to GABob's topic in Type C Motorhomes
GABob, What I believe you were quoted at the Ford House may have been for a complete rim and tire. I looked at your coach and it looks to have steel rims in the 19.5 size. That may have been a bit high but not too far out of range. Herman -

driver Hiring a Driver for Motorhome class A
hermanmullins replied to little300z's question in Destinations/Attractions
Border to border 2,087.1 miles. It would cost at least $1.08 per mile (Government allowance). 2,087.1miles one way X 2 coaches= 4,174.2 miles X 2 (round trip) = 8,348.4 miles X $1.08 per mile =$8,348.40. (this does not include departure point and destination point) Hmmmm. Herman -
Water Heater Electric Side Failed
hermanmullins replied to brown774's topic in Systems and Appliances
Richard, The element can be purchased at you box store, Lowe's or Home Depot. They are 110 volt elements. If you have to old one out take it with you to compair. In my last coach I replaced mine from Lowe's. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot in our area. Herman -
