When you drain your transmission and change to say a synthetic do you get all the fluid out or is some still in the torque converter. And if not will the two types of fluid mix with no issues. Herman

FMCA now has a benefit for under 65 members for Health insurance. https://site.fmca.com/images/healthcareplan/FMCA_Health_Plan_Comparison_Chart.pdf It may be a competitive or not but FMCA heard the need and got a plan for members. I am sure it is like all plans, get a quote and compare. It wont help me since I am on medicare but may be good for those under 65. Herman

I prefer to have a GFI to stand alone. This way you know that it is the plug and not the circuit that is the problem. In the house we built 4 years ago I had the electrician install individual GFI on all the kitchen (7) and both bathrooms (5 & 3). Knock on wood we haven't had one pop since we have been in the house. hermanmullins replied to blakleyfamily's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Go to the FMCA web site. click on the Dashboard (it's the Speedometer Symbol on the right hand side), then click on the Search symbol then type in towing. There you will find a towing guide, then select the year you are looking for. Herman -

It hasn't been as good as it was before they shut down the plants for about 10 months. There are two Flavor that are out of this world, Fresh Peach and Fresh Strawberry. They only make them when the Peaches and Strawberry's are in season. Hmmmm Good . Herman -
Ron, There seems to be some sort of obstruction as you are aware of. It may take a camera out down to see what is causing the obstruction. Is the half bath in the middle or in the rear? I have heard more than once that the rear toilet takes a lot of water to flush due to the distance it has to travel. Herman

I had the same issue with our 02 Dynasty. Now have TOYOs on the front. only a couple of thousand miles on them but I haven't seen any signs of excess wear on the outside edge nor cupping. I plan on 6 more the first of next year before heading to Perry. I will move the two steer tires to the tag and put two new on the steer and four new on the drive axles. Herman

JP, Welcome to the Forum. If you replace your current A/C there are no modifications required to the opening nor the interior. The opening and mounting holes are the same. You may be asked if your A/C is ducted or not. The only thing that may have to be done is replace the Thermostat. I remember when I thought I was going to replace my A/C I was told there was a device to adapt the new A/C to the old Thermostat. What it turned out to be was a bad Start/Run Capacitor. There is something wrong for a shop to have your coach for 2 months and not have a solution. Are they saying that there are lots of modification that have to be done to change out the unit? This by some chance isn't a Camping World is it? A call to Dometic will get you the information on an upgrade. Herman

2005 42 ft Monaco Dynasty, shore power cuts in and out
hermanmullins replied to f438921's topic in Electrical
I had erratic reading on my incoming power and found that I had a bad plug on my power cable. Replaced the plug and have had no more problems. One thing I saw on the plug was that the blades seemed to be loose. Worth a check. Herman -

Satellite Dish Hitting Black Tank Vent
hermanmullins replied to tka4493039's topic in Type A motorhomes
tka, how much does the dish hit the vent? There are some really low profile vent out there. But as Bill said move the dish if there is enough cable to relocate it. Then if done right you can install a much better vent. Herman -
Satellite Dish Hitting Black Tank Vent
hermanmullins replied to tka4493039's topic in Type A motorhomes
tka, Welcome to the Forum. There a number of Vent cover on the market. If you could show us a picture of your vent cover it may help. I for one have two fairly tall covers that swivel with the direction of the wind. Others have a short cap that are held down by clips that fit inside the vent pipe. Herman -
