  1. Last time I was in that area we stayed at Casino Queen RV Park, 200 Front St, East St Louis, IL 62201. casinoqueen.com, (800) 777-0777 Good acess to the arch and downtown. Bill
  2. Yes, this is your official invitation to drop by and have some Coffee. Bill
  3. Who owns that one? I know I lost acess to lots of fun toys when I quit working. Things like the chicken gun. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ohnzZ-Xp-uY Bill
  4. Sad but true. I think leaving it there till everything is fixed is the best. They keep fixing things I didn't know were broke and it is on their dime. Bill
  5. So far I have got them on and the washer to work. Haven't tried intermittent yet. I checked the blades and they put new blades on. Here is something to make you smile. The outher night I was thinking about things on my check list from the walk through. I realised I had never tried the dash air. So I dropped by yesterday to see how things are going and to try the ac. All is good, they got the latch in for the washer and installed, but they are waiting on a motor and parts for the awning over the door. I didn't know they had written it up. So now the only bad thing is the completion date has been pushed back to Thursday. Bill
  6. I thought that too, also it may provide more cooling air to the generator. Would be interesting to put it in a wind tunnel and see. Bill
  7. Yes, They store out of site. I can't figure out why they do that big chin on some models. It is open all the way down. Maybe someone will tell us. You haven't seen "Big Chin" till you run it out to get acess to the generator, the whole thing slides out. Bill
  8. That is a super nice coach. I actually know what you mean about getting out and looking around can get you in trouble like that. Bill
  9. I am lost on why you would call ERS to get it off blocks. Could you post a picture of your RV with 10 tires? Bill
  10. Did they try Huntington Bank? https://www.huntington.com/ They are the ones that financed me. LOL just got the payment book today. Bill
  11. Qurious minds want to know. What huge increase in price? Do you know the average price of a basic service call? Happy for you being able to self insure. Bill
  12. Welcome to the forum. When are you going? The last time I was in the Zion area we stayed at Leeds RV Park & Motel leedsrvpark.com I would get RV Parky https://www.rvparky.com/ and see what else you can find. That and also look at https://www.campgroundreviews.com/ I recommend you make reservations as soon as you can, tonight would be good. Bill
  13. I can't believe you would want to ride in my old raged coach when you have a nice newer 2016 Newmar Ventana LE 4037. Bill
  14. I think it only has 2 sections. LOL I have only driven it 2 times in and that was in Dallas trafic. My only comet is I am use to my old mirrors that were on the bottom and now I have to remember to look up a little. Not a big deal, just a learning curve. Bill
  15. Cold and wet hear with snow west of us. It sounds nicer in the North East today. Bill
  16. On the Spartan chassis it is on the smart wheel and on the Freightliner it is on the left side above the shift pad. Bill
  17. Thanks,I hope the bank smiles on you so you can get your new coach. Bill
  18. Both of your choices are doable. However I would look at a diesel pusher because you will probably have more storage and a better ride. In the price range you are talking there are some new and many used coaches. One outher benefit of traveling in a coach over a fifth wheel with kid is you don't have to stop for them to use the bathroom. Here are some examples. https://www.mhsrv.com/2020-sportscoach-srs-366bh-bunk-model-rv-w--2-15k-btu-a-cs--oh-loft--and-amp--340hp-new-diesel-pusher-tx-i2506944 or something used. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2016-thor-palazzo_rv-43589 or https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2011-fleetwood-discovery_rv-42812 Have fun Bill
  19. That would drive me crazy. I don't think the view through the day shade is good enough to drive. My shades stay down when I turn the switch on, I don't know if they stay down after I start it. Bill
  20. It is fun, Learned what the switches on the steering wheel are for/do. I am satisfied that the place I thought may be a missing switch actually has no function so that is good. The outher 3 are for the power tilt, power telescope and the power pedal adjust. Back to light switches, some have a hi and low function. I found the hidden latches that allow you to lower the ceiling treatment to get to the air return filters. By the way they (the filters) all looked new. I did have a senior moment yesterday, this will make you laugh. I ran the front shades up so I could double check the wipers and play with the delay settings. I wanted to see if the wiper blades cleaned ok because we have had some rain and just because. Well that worked great, looked at the blades and they look new. Well I tried to lower the front shade and it wouldn't go all the way down. It would go back up but wouldn't go all the way down. Well I was geting ready to call my technician. But after a couple minutes I said something I can't repeat then switched off the ignition key and lowered the shades. Bill
  21. It is a 2008, what year does it look like? I didn't trade so my coach is South of Fort Worth at my property. I have spent a night at the campground. I decided to leave it there while waiting on a part. You are right we had a technician assigned to us. I don't know what they could have done better. This coach has an amazing amount of storage. I thought I had plenty in my old Bounder but lots more in the kitchen and it has large sliding drawers in the pantry that look ajustable. It is a fun challenge learning all the new stuff, heck finding all the light switches and what they operate is a challenge. Bill
  22. It is mine now but I left it in Lewisville while waiting on parts (Friday). I am hoping to go to Coffee Creek. Herman you can put your hand on it as long as it is in a polishing cloth. Bill
  23. Thought I would put up some pictures. You have to be careful when you go looking around "just to see what's out there" Because something might follow you home. This is my 2008 Newmar Mountain Aire model 4521. Bill
