  1. Why do you have to wash at dawn? I am more of after a late lunch. Bill
  2. Merry Christmas and a happy New Year and may all of your wishes come true. Bill
  3. I think this fear of the front "catastrophic blow out" is way over hyped. I just don't see any numbers to back up the fear mongering promoted on most forums. And by companies selling products that you can't live without because you are going to have a front blow out and fall into a canyon if you don't. YES it could happen understand it and you can be readey. There are good videos to watch. Just so you know I have had a front blow out. Back in the 80s I was driving a class C that my former father in law was trying to sell me. On I-635 in Dallas trafic the front left tire went away with a big bang. I never felt that I was out of control and was able to safely pull over to a spot where I could change it. This problem I feel was directly attributed to the tires that had come on the RV They were not to old but were the same load range van tires that had been on the rolling van chassis used to build the class C. I upgraded to load range E and never had anouther problem. Bill
  4. They may discharge if you weren't plugged in but you later said you were plugged in. They should not be going dead if you are plugged in. Don't you have "auto generator start" on your coach? When they got low the generator should have started. I can run a couple nights without the house batteries going dead. Why? Why? You are still way below the correct charge levels. Your problem is not fixed. Bill
  5. Wufpaq#1 welcome to the forum. I am seeing minimum benefit for the cost. It also looks like it will reduce ride quality. Bill
  6. Power washers can be a useful tool but like all tools only when used properly. Bill
  7. I think that is a accurate suggestion and concentrate on the grounds both at the battery and where they connect to the frame. Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. I would go look at anouther one. Where are you looking? Bill
  9. If the OP can run his generator in storage he should be following Onans recommendation to run it at least 2 hours under load each month. This should keep all the batteries charged, if not the time can be adjusted. So explain how this is " running all the time"?? Bill
  10. What do you have experience with? There are to many variables to make a direct comparison. Each setup has different characteristics. Most will talk about what they are driving now. In that vein My diesel pusher is fairly resistant to wind and passing trucks. I have had trucks pass and didn't know they were there till they came into view beside me. There was no movement in the coach or steering. Now some people think their Rv should drive like their car, well they don't it is a different set of parameters and you must adjust to them. Lots of things you can do to improve some setups but it will never drive like your favorite sports car. Bill
  11. So did you get the coach home safe and all tucked in? Did they do the work they were supposed to do? Bill
  12. If you can run the generator in storage why don't you just run the generator to charge your batteries? You should be running the generator any way. Bill
  13. I would call them back and tell them it doesn't work. Bill
  14. Well I actually think it is. The credit card knew he was a Canadian customer and should have provided the information/solution in advance. Yes, I am well aware of that. The Op has already stated he tried the adding zeros. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. Have heard of that problem before but never heard any outcome. Have you talked to the credit card company? Bill
  16. Hope the OP gets back to us on what he found. One thing I have found is that you need to "exercise" the jacks just like some of the other systems on your coach. I also wipe down the shafts if they have been down for more than a couple of days. Bill
  17. Where are you traveling from? I don't think they have a shuttle bus like the Grand Canyon does. There are companies offering bus tours. That is why I never travel anymore without a toad. I feel that not having A toad to explore with cuts down to much on what you can do and see. Bill
  18. Wow, I was thinking small. Some plastic trim strip from home depot and glue it on with 3M glue. Bill
  19. See they were waiting for your yard to melt so you could park it. Bill
  20. Has it been a year already? Merry Christmas!!! Bill
  21. Not shure what "I will pull it out and check it" will do for you? The only checks are done with it installed. Is it leaking? if not it is good. Does it open when you activate the preshure release lever? if it does it is good. Does it seal up and not leak when closed again? Then it is good. Bill
  22. Ok explain to me why they are set up for such low output? I am not in the business but it seems like a big heavy engine for such low output when it could be 605 and 2050 torque. Bill
  23. Please enlighten me! The OP couldn't get through to Michelin, I called and was able to get right through. Then I reposted the correct numbers to call just incase the OP needed them. So explain to me what I don't get! Bill
  24. Try re reading the post. NO one is talking about FMCA Fleet. Whatever that is. Bill
