  1. So far it seems like my Newmar is keeping both battery banks charged plugged into shore power. Bill
  2. Try, The Huntington National Bank, Columbus OH 43218-2519 I don't have a phone number handey but it is on their website. https://www.huntington.com/customer-service/contact-us Bill
  3. They just did a "Verifie" segment on the news about doing that. As long as you have 65% alcohol you are good to go. Bill
  4. Jim S, Thanks! Just ordered some from Amazon, supposed to be here tomorrow. Bill
  5. You shouldn't have any problem. Make shure you have a good auxiliary braking system for your toad. Bill
  6. Yes, I have the Oasis. I need to find some of the fluid. Do they have a "Oasis" brand? Wayne, I may have a corner on the market. After all I was able to smuggle this in from A foreign country. I wonder what the restrictions are. Bill
  7. The app was a GPS based app. I would recommend using a GPS based app to as it is more accurate. I found my speedometer was off by 6.6%. Bill
  8. Roads are good. Keep in mind when you see fuel prices it is for a liter (think quart) not a galon. I downloaded a app to my phone that showed speed in KPH as my speedometer didn't show KPH. Bill
  9. Strange place to buy toilet paper! I got mine at the trading post, over behind the canoe paddles. Bill
  10. Yep, What Joe said. No need to repeat. Bill

    tires.....

I will report later on how my Toyos ride/perform I only have 65 miles on them. That was all rush hour traffic. Bill
  12. With all the "stuff" being thrown around this may be appropriate. Look at the picture and tell me what is different from a "regular " package? I found this in a bay while moving stuff to the new coach. Bill
  13. I wonder if mine is the same? Sounds like some engineer thought it was better to have hot water as long as possible over worrying about getting to a fuel stop. Like Carl this will be a learning trip. I don't plan on letting it get below 1/2 tank. Unlike Carl I only have a 150 gal tank. How was I ever able to get around with only a 90 gal tank? Bill

    tires.....

Welcome to the forum. Make shure you are looking at the right load range for your coach. I would also look at the continentals in the FMCA tire program. I ran them on my last coach and liked them. They were also over$100.00 cheaper each at the discount price than Michilans at their discount price. Bill
  15. Ok, I bet you have already looked at this, but. Have you cleaned and tightened all the ground connections? It sounds like something's heating up and losing connection then cooling down and reconnecting. So tightening all connections and especially ground connections would be where I would start. Bill
  16. But we are still here. Back on topic, New coach is 12' 6". Bill
  17. Can I deduct them under "Security"? Bill
  18. One outher thing. What route are you using to get to that area? Do you have a EZ-Pass? Bill
  19. Much better to much than not enough. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. Did you just get your Newmar? Bill
  21. Last time I crossed into Canada at the Alexandria Bay crossing point in Northern Ny State. I once again got the whole "You cowboys from Texas all have guns" routine. That and being selected for extra inspection. Well the only good thing to come from it was after about 30 minutes in the coach one of the officers came out and said to me "Sir We have found your liquor cabinet, did the officer ask you about alcohol?" I said no. He then said "Proceed". I think they were tired of this guy pullinging over everyone for extra inspection. There wasn't that much in the liquor cabinet just a couple of opened bottles of "hard stuff" and 2 bottles of wine in the drawer under the dinet. Bill
  22. Let's start with basics. Check the voltage at the house (Axillary) batteries. The chassis batteries are good because you can start the main engine and it takes much more voltage to start it than the generator. I am betting on just low house batteries. If they are low using the "boost" switch isn't enough because they are soaking up all the voltage coming through the line. Bill
  23. I would recommend that when you enter on I-30 from the East that you take I- 635 South. I-635 will merge with I-20 west bound. This has less traffic and less construction. If you need a place to stay in the area I would look at https://www.cowtownrvpark.com/. Like driving in Atlanta I would recommend trying to do it at non rush hour times. Bill
