  1. I can't believe you would want to ride in my old raged coach when you have a nice newer 2016 Newmar Ventana LE 4037. Bill
  2. I think it only has 2 sections. LOL I have only driven it 2 times in and that was in Dallas trafic. My only comet is I am use to my old mirrors that were on the bottom and now I have to remember to look up a little. Not a big deal, just a learning curve. Bill
  3. Cold and wet hear with snow west of us. It sounds nicer in the North East today. Bill
  4. On the Spartan chassis it is on the smart wheel and on the Freightliner it is on the left side above the shift pad. Bill
  5. Thanks,I hope the bank smiles on you so you can get your new coach. Bill
  6. Both of your choices are doable. However I would look at a diesel pusher because you will probably have more storage and a better ride. In the price range you are talking there are some new and many used coaches. One outher benefit of traveling in a coach over a fifth wheel with kid is you don't have to stop for them to use the bathroom. Here are some examples. https://www.mhsrv.com/2020-sportscoach-srs-366bh-bunk-model-rv-w--2-15k-btu-a-cs--oh-loft--and-amp--340hp-new-diesel-pusher-tx-i2506944 or something used. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2016-thor-palazzo_rv-43589 or https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/used-rvs-for-sale/diesel-motorhomes/2011-fleetwood-discovery_rv-42812 Have fun Bill
  7. That would drive me crazy. I don't think the view through the day shade is good enough to drive. My shades stay down when I turn the switch on, I don't know if they stay down after I start it. Bill
  8. It is fun, Learned what the switches on the steering wheel are for/do. I am satisfied that the place I thought may be a missing switch actually has no function so that is good. The outher 3 are for the power tilt, power telescope and the power pedal adjust. Back to light switches, some have a hi and low function. I found the hidden latches that allow you to lower the ceiling treatment to get to the air return filters. By the way they (the filters) all looked new. I did have a senior moment yesterday, this will make you laugh. I ran the front shades up so I could double check the wipers and play with the delay settings. I wanted to see if the wiper blades cleaned ok because we have had some rain and just because. Well that worked great, looked at the blades and they look new. Well I tried to lower the front shade and it wouldn't go all the way down. It would go back up but wouldn't go all the way down. Well I was geting ready to call my technician. But after a couple minutes I said something I can't repeat then switched off the ignition key and lowered the shades. Bill
  9. It is a 2008, what year does it look like? I didn't trade so my coach is South of Fort Worth at my property. I have spent a night at the campground. I decided to leave it there while waiting on a part. You are right we had a technician assigned to us. I don't know what they could have done better. This coach has an amazing amount of storage. I thought I had plenty in my old Bounder but lots more in the kitchen and it has large sliding drawers in the pantry that look ajustable. It is a fun challenge learning all the new stuff, heck finding all the light switches and what they operate is a challenge. Bill
  10. It is mine now but I left it in Lewisville while waiting on parts (Friday). I am hoping to go to Coffee Creek. Herman you can put your hand on it as long as it is in a polishing cloth. Bill
  11. Thought I would put up some pictures. You have to be careful when you go looking around "just to see what's out there" Because something might follow you home. This is my 2008 Newmar Mountain Aire model 4521. Bill
  12. No tags on it. I think Oklahoma, I will look it up when I get time. By the way You always hear about "Getting the maintenance records" I will do a separate post latter but it appears I have everything from new. All organised in folders by year.
  13. I don't need anything that special. I dropped by NIRVC to pick up a charge cord for my watch (who would have thought you would need to charge a watch) that I had left there. I also wanted to see how they were coming on a couple of repair items. They changed all the gas struts on the doors that open "up". and I now have new 6V house batteries, at no charge. Ok so I will use any excuse to go play with my new toy. Everything (waiting on a latch for the washer) should be done Friday. Then the hard work begins, moving stuff in. Bill
  14. Are you saying the GFI is humming? If it is try testing/ resetting it. Pull it out and look at all the connections and the wires to see if you have something loose or shorting. I would probably just change it. Bill

    Tire age

I would make shure you get the right load range Hankook tires. By the way welcome to the forum. Have you asked the tire shop if they will match the Walmart price? I am actually surprised that Walmart is selling any 19" or 22.5" tires. When I asked Sam's and Walmart about tires for my coach they said the didn't have the equipment to change them even if I took them off and brought them in. Bill
  16. I am going to try to find out who from Lone Star Chapter or Red River Rover is going. Does AIM have a website? ok found it. Bill
  17. Thanks. I bought from National Indoor RV Centers in Dallas well actually in Lewisville. I am extremely impressed with the service and customer care there. Example, my wife couldn't get the washer door open during our walkthrough. The report showed it was written up and repaired during the receiving inspection. One of the tecks came out and opened the door. They are ordering a new latch. Should be in Monday. Bill
  18. Yes, Still need to move all the "stuff" over from the old one and do a shakedown trip before heading to AZ. Bill
  19. It has been quiet on this thread for a while. It has been a busy last couple of days for me. I even had to change my signature. Bill
  20. I would also change the bushings on the sway bar as the polypropylene are stiffer. Bill
