You should see Kentucky Horse Park as long as you are in Georgetown. It is part of the Smithsonian and is the home of some famous retired Kentucky Derby winners. They have a neet program where they bring several out and do a presentation about their careers and you can nearly touch the horses you are that close. Really interesting place. Bill

Ok I understand it is easier to sell the new batteries if you have some installed. I don't feel that need to go live like a hermit in the outback. You still need to move so you can dump and refill your water. Back in the 60s when I started camping whe would go on multi week trips to places like the Algonquin Provincial Park in Canada. for a 3 week canoe camping trip with no hookups. Actually I am pretty shure RV stands for Recreational Vehicle. We all Recreate in different ways. Bill

djwest21, welcome to the form. Well that is 2 votes for Nevada Treasures. You ought to send a PM to Punxsyjumper and see if they are still there. Bill

Lets not scare the kids with pictures. Back to the nuts you linked to I would use the ones with a real threaded nut. You can get them in different dimensions (thread size like 10/32) and in the distance from the center of the hole to the folded over part. so you can have more edge distance. They slip over the edge so they don't turn when you are running the screw in. I have only seen the arched flat "nuts" used in a metal holder that was like a strip with several of the "Nuts" slid in a track like strip nutplates. Bill

The clip nuts will work if you arn't realey concerned about strength. Bill

I think they are absolutely marvelous technology. In the last 3 years I have spent exactly one night not hooked up and ran the generator for AC. So explain why I should spend that kind of money? DD how many do you have to sell to make back the cost of your new toys? Bill

Just wondering if the TVs were set up properly and did you do a channel search after each change. Bill

You may be SOL. RV water systems are not made to run at hi preshure. That is why you have to run waterpreshure regulators. This is about as good as you can find. 4 GPM at 55 PSI https://www.pentair.com/content/pentair/en/applications/enjoying-water/rv/water-delivery/4048_high_flow_pump.html Bill

Full timer - Sanitizing fresh water tank
wildebill308 replied to francie1229's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
The big problem with the socialist state of Kalifornia is "do as I say not as I do" Last time I was out there they had a major drought going on. Not one water restriction in place, in fact all the towns along 99 were watering the center and sides of the road. They were on tv moaning about the drought but watering the freeway. Bill -

Well I don't do the all you can eat places as much but I haven't found a bad place of the ones we have been to in Providence on Federal hill, like Siena, or Camille's. If you want old school try Aunt Carrie's it is a 1920s era clam shack at,1240 Ocean Rd, Narragansett, RI 02882. Bill

This is what the OP said. Hope we hear back from the OP. Bill

I looked it up it is sold by Eternabond, the tape people. Their site wouldn't open the MSDS sheet so I could see what was in it. I just never heard that term used for solvent. Well actually I am qualified to do that type of fiberglass repair. This might be a good idea as it gives the OP some idea of cost and options. My main concern is what did they do to stick the edges down to the plywood sub structure. Will the edges stay down and not separate even with the RVArmor over it. Bill

That is amazing. I would bet if you measure the difference between the major manufactuers for this tire the differences in diameter will be more than 1.1inch. Why don't you adjust the stop in your steering so it can't hit the airbag? Bill

Dometic Refrigerator Not Working On Propane
wildebill308 replied to Spooks535's topic in Systems and Appliances
Spooks535, do you have a generator? Have you been able to run it? It probably uses the house batteries so you might be able to use the switch that connects the 2 battery systems together (with the coach running) and start the generator. This will give you the equivalent of shore power. Richard, with out 12V power the gas valve won't open and you won't get any spark from the igniter. Yes just like the water heater if it doesn't ignite after a set number of tries you have to turn the main switch off and try again. Spooks535, Don't try to light the water heater till you have water in the tank, but that is one more thing to try when you get set up. You need 12V for this to.😄 Bill -
I realey don't see that big of a problem. The 275/80 is 1.1 inch taller. It also turns 14 rpm less in a mile. This is handey for comparing tires https://tiresize.com/comparison/ Bill

Dometic Refrigerator Not Working On Propane
wildebill308 replied to Spooks535's topic in Systems and Appliances
Welcome to the forum. Like Kay said without 12V power nothing works. Once you get plugged in you may find the fridge will work because your system should pass 12V power to all your 12V requirements and charge the battery. Check the water level in the battery's. Bill -
The best way to repair this would be to take that trim strip off. clean all the sealant off the joint(I assume there is a joint under the trim piece). I would sand about 3" on both sides of the joint. Then apply a fiberglass repair to the joint. This will get you a lot closer to the original height and the roof will drain better. What is your skill set? have you ever worked with fiberglass? Have you ever done fiberglass repair using resin and fiberglass cloth or matt? I would use acetone and a scotchbrite pad for cleaning the surface. I have never used EternaClean and don't know what a "hot solvent" is. I would definitely use acetone resistant gloves. If you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself I would look for a place that repairs fiberglass boats and see what they would charge. Bill

Looking For A Stop Off Between Fort Worth and Red River NM
wildebill308 replied to jmkidwill's topic in Campgrounds
Just a heads up for those reading this latter, earlier someone talked about overnighting in Palo Duro Canyon. Yes you can but it's a long way off the main roads and the campground is in the bottom of the canyon. The road in/out is intimidating to some and probably an hour out of your way. I like Oasis or Overnite RV Park or Big Texan RV Ranch. For those on the cheap you could look at the truck parking behind Big Texan. Bill -
