  1. That is across the bay from Eastport Maine. Bill

I had to sell torque operations to the inspectors at work and the standard practice was if the nut didn't move when applying the torque it had to be loosened and re torqued. In some instances the hardware had to be replaced and re torqued. Bill
  3. You are close enough to drive over and look before you move. The only one I looked at was Isla Blanca Park across the causeway on South Padre. It wasn't as nice as where you are now. If you drive over stop at Dirty Al's at Pelican Station for some Cajun seafood. It is just before you cross the bridge. Bill
  4. You are absolutely right. Welcome to the forum. Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. With out knowing what Class A you have/talking about I can't comment. I always make shure the air selector is on "recirculate" this reduses how much heat is needed to warm the air. It never hurts to look under the dash and plug any holes. Bill

That is definaley a good price. The Dewalt and Milwaukee are a little stronger but almost twice the money. Bill
  7. With his record I wouldn't beat against him. 😎 Bill
  8. That is an interesting statement. Can you elaborate? Bill
  9. Be glad it does make that sound. That means it is doing its job. Depending on the make and model the time varies slightly. Without more info on captbarneys RV I would say he has a surge gard built into his ATS. When you plug in the surge gard does its job of checking the power and in about 2 minutes if all is good allows power to flow. Bill
  10. Ed, welcome to the forum. I would need more than "may" when others are not having a problem. How much time do you spend with the steering cranked to the lock? The 285/70 R17 tires are only 0.6" taller and 1.2" wider than the stock ones. When you get them on try them in the parking lot in a full lock turn. If they rub, don't do that anymore.😉 Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum. Have you weighed your rig? A 4 corner weight loaded ready to travel would be preferable but at least axle weights? My first thought is you may be overweight for that load range tire. I wouldn't do anything till I had a the weight. Cheack what load range these tires are. Bill
  12. Goe, what was the other big problem, I think it was valves coming apart. Or was that on the 600+ hp ISX? Bill
  13. Then it isn't a PRESSURE cooker. If it was it would work just like your radiator. You have a 15-25# prssure cap that raises the boiling point of the water inside. 🤩 Bill
  14. Just a thought. Have you measured the charge voltage when you are using the Onan? The "bulk charge rate" that's when you first start, should be 14.4 volts. If it isn't you could use an additional battery charger to make shure it is at 14.4 (that is the max they will absorb) just plug it into a 110 outlet on the generator or on the coach. You have the generator running you might as well get as much done as fast as you can. The charge cycles should adjust and step down the charge rate as required. Bill
  15. But can you tow it 4 down? Roland, are you still in the valley? Bill
  16. I was in Target the outher day and they had a end cap and a short aile full of accessories and gadgets for insta pots. Carl, the insta pot is a preshure cooker and won't be affected by elevation. Bill
  17. No you just don't drink enough to hear them.🤣 Bill
  18. Nancy, unfortunately it looks that way. Can you run your generator and fully charge your batteries? Do you have shore power where your RV is? It would be good to fully charge and test your batteries before you replace them. Check and see if what the warranty is. Bill
  19. Are you going to Newfoundland this summer? Or staying in NB and NS? Bill
  20. See if this helps. http://newfoundland.hilwin.nl/PHP/en/gettingaround.php I am pretty shure a boat ride (ferry) is in your future. But it depends on how much time you have. http://www.marineatlantic.ca/en/ Bill
  21. Tim, welcome to the forum. If you scroll up a page or so I linked to a dealer that had some quality coaches. You can look on PPL Motorhomes https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/ you can check out floor plans. Yes anything can be modified. It just becomes can you give up the room. I have a Splendy and it works ok for small things but we still use the laundry in the RV park or in town for sheets and stuff like that. Bill
  22. Good looking rig. Where in Texas is home base? Bill
  23. I hope all those in the path of that supper cold air are ok. I have heard that in some cases people's furnaces can't keep up with the demand. The worst one was the City water lines are freezing. Bill
  24. You can just call me Prof Snow. To be honest I have never picked up a new set of snow shoes. They have to be light years better than the old "Hudson Bay" style trail shoes I once had. They were so heavy I couldn't go far. Bill
  25. Ok just so you know that "I know snow" this is what you do where I grew up. They only average 200" yearley.
