  1. Welcome to the forum. Best advice I can give you get close and drive it with your Jeep Grand Cherokee as I don't know your skill or comfort level. It has be a while since I have driven it and that was in the toad. Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum. I used a LED wiring harness from Blue Ox like this. http://www.blueox.com/towing-accessories/bx88267/ Bill
  3. Well back to address the OP issues. The Viair 40047 400P-RV Automatic Portable Compressor Kit Has been reviewed to do a good job for a 12V compressor. But not all of the small 12V compressors will make everyone happy. They will work on the smaller tires than the 22.5. You can use one of these to seat the bead. Bill
  4. Yes, I agree. Under truth in advertising this was before this trip. I do carrey a 3/8 most of the time but have 1/2 for big air impact and you don't have the preshure loss. I have also used the 1/2 to run air to a manifold where I could plug in a couple air hoses. You also do better when the preshure in the tank is higher as it will fill the tier faster. Bill
  5. Welcome to the forum. I haven't heard anything negative about the Ready Brute Elite. Most of the systems that don't connect to the coach rely on some type of surge activation. Bill
  6. Ross, I would go with a 1/2 in hose as it will fill tires much faster than the 1/4 hoses. I made the mistake of using a 1/4 hose and it took forever to increase preshure in my tires. I have a Dewalt pancake that goes to 165#. Bill
  7. Good news! Tell her we are pulling for her. Bill
  8. I backed my pickup to where I could wedge a ladder up against the coach. Made it an easy lift. When working with any of these AC units be very careful as the metal is stamped and has razor sharp burs on all the edges. Bill
  9. Yes the mounting points are located under the covers where the air return is. Take the covers and the filters down (4) screws and look up in the corners. If your repair guy doesn't know this you need someone new. Either that or he is lying to you to make more money. From what you said I wouldn't trust him to change the filters much less a AC unit. Why change out good working units? I am not convinced your one was bad. Bill
  10. Judy, Welcome to the forum. I hear what you are saying. I would go with the latest info I could find. The company often changes how it wants the car set up as time and experience dictate. Bill Welcome to the forum. What kind of issues? Bill
  11. When I get out of New Hampshire and the New England area I might be able to find some good Jerky. Herman, Another good flavor is Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate! Yes it does taste like Chocolate. Bill
  12. Like Herman I would try a little more water. Bill
  13. Welcome to the forum. What are you talking about??? You have about 4 screws that hold the cover to the cold air return and filter. 4 nuts/bolts that hold the AC unit to the roof, that and disconnecting the wires is all there is to it. I have changed a unit in less than a houer. Ok you need a foam gasket/seal and clean the mating surface. You need to get your coach out of that place. I bet they have already worked you for more than installing a new unit would have cost. Bill
  14. Well went to Sunday River Brewing Company for supper tonight. The ratings were generally good. sundayriverbrewingcompany.com This place definitely doesn't live up to the hype. I have never seen a place sell baked potatoes burnt all the way through and OLD. Well one bad place isn't doing to bad. Bill
  15. Ben and Jerry's factory was just north of our campground in VT along with the Cabot cheese store. How much is the consultant fee? I was there told him to re torque the muffler bearings. Bill
  16. Well now in ME just off US-2 and on the Androscoggins River at Stony Brook Recreation, 3036 Main St, Hanover, ME 04237 stonybrookrec.com, (207) 824-2836. Will be here for a couple days before going down to the Freeport area. I need my LLBean fix. Bill
  17. Nice coach. where are you based? Now you can add your coach to your signature. Bill
  18. Yep, Ernie does some nice work. Bill
  19. Tim, not shure what your problem is? Many have gone to a 5 Star tuner to help refine the Ford shift points. https://5startuning.com/ The Ford V10 is designed to reve, I don't think you can hurt one if you drove it flat out as it has a built in rev limiter. Bill
  20. Well I have experience with 2 one on the West side and on the north. Neither are real close but worked for what we were doing. Buffalo Run RV Park & Cabins, 3402 Hwy 20, Island Park, ID 83429, buffalorunrvpark.com (208) 558-7112. Yellowstone's Edge RV Park, 3502 US-89, Livingston, MT 59047, yellowstoneedgerv.com (406) 333-4036. Bill
  21. All to common of a problem with extended warranties. They are good at finding ways to deny payment. Good luck and keep us informed. Bill
  22. As maney on here I am not a fan of extended warranties. If you do your maintenance I think you will be ok. Put the money in a savings account and you should be way ahead in 3 years. Bill
  23. Welcome to the forum. I would call the manufacturer and ask if they have a "approved " installer near you. Bill
