  1. We are so lucky to have Wolfe10 to answer questions. Bill
  2. Well I would call Texas Custom Coach, 10498 South State Highway 16, Pipe Creek, TX 78063 texascustomcoach.com, (888) 761-4225 They can do just about anything you need. They are one of Carl's favorite places. Call them and see what they say. Bill
  3. Well just a general observation/truism. Everyone complains about how bad the roads are yet they all complain about the crews that are working to repair the roads. Personally I want to see more crews working. Bill
  4. In the first picture you need to put some grommet on the edge where the hose is rubbing/chafing hard. It does look like you could use a stand off spacer under the clamp to help reposition it. Bill
  5. The one from ACE maynot be NPT pitch. Most plugs are tubing thread pitch. That is why you should be cautious about using the proper thread pitch. Trying to thread a tubing (brass) plug will start but will damage the NPT threads. Bill
  6. Welcome to the forum. If you were close I would loan you my tap. Like Brett I doubt you have any damage that can't be cleaned up with the tap. Bill
  7. Just drove it in the last couple of days. I think Indianapolis to Dayton was the roughest area. I am going north so Dayton is as far east as I am going on I-70. Some of the frost heaves and just plain deteriorated road. I hit some areas that were rough enough I thought I had a flat. Bill
  8. Pictures may help. I bet you have a cap over the screw to plug the hole. Herman is typing faster. Without the make and model I don't know for shure, but look at this. https://www.velvac.com/sites/default/files/resource-files/sb103_-_removal_and_replacement_of_2030_components.pdf Bill
  9. Back to Herman's invitation I am going the outher direction and will have to miss this one.
  10. Wow My spell check misses one word and I get a big lecture. I wonder what 26 pages and 526 post inadvertently deleted would have gotten me? Bill
  11. Well I saved over $600.00 last year I haven't added up the savings this year but I bet I come out better. Bill
  12. Glad you had a good trip. What do you think, was it as bad as you imagined it might be ? I am on the road now just outside Vandalia IL. Next stop Air Force Museum in Dayton Ohio. Bill
  13. I do pretty good with Passport America. Tonight in Mulberry Grove, IL $23.00. I will never do TT again after they committed fraud by charging my CC without permission. Bill
  14. That isn't the plan Eric has and nun of the TT websites mention them, why is that? Bill
  15. Welcome to TT. What you have experienced is the standard TT park, some are worse. desertdeals69 has the most unique contract as it doesen't match what TT has on any of it's websites. I have posted my experiences with them and they were not at all positive. The longest you can stay at any one park is 14 days at a time. Furthermore, after any stay of 4 days of longer, you will need to wait at least one week before you can stay in another Thousand Trails Park. Bill
  16. After going back and re reading the OP's post I think this may be the key problem. Bill

    TailpipeRust

Look underneath and see if it is clamped or welded together. If welded you can just cut it off with a hacksaw. Measure how long from the joint. Is it 3" or 4" diameter? I have seen some chrome tips in Walmart if they don't have them look for a place that sells parts for diesel trucks. Bill
  18. No that is not why it is there. Just like the one in the front. It is to give acess if a wrecker needs to add air to air up the suspension and or release the emergency break. You can allso use it to air up tires. Ok lets do like Herman Jr. said and get back to the OP's problem. Bill
  19. That does sound good. I looked at a coach with the 500 ISM and the owner said he was geting 5 mpg. But you never know how someone drives. Bill
  20. Well now I am back to once a month.
  21. I had to stay 3 1/2 weeks in that area. Then on to Moab, Arches and all 3 sections of Canyonlands. Bill
  22. I made several trips to CA back in the early 80's without a toad. Yes I have traveled without a toad yes in a smaller class C, so I know what I am talking about. Traveling without a toad will reduce your ability to go and see and do by about 75-85%. Some people drive RV park to RV park and don't go any ware once they are there. That is fine but I don't go someplace to just explore the RV park. If you are still working and that is all you have time to do that is ok. Bill
  23. Well Chris G. What RV do you have? You should have it in your signature/profile. Where did you go, what did you do in the Sacramento area? Bill
