    Tire pressure

The standard practise is to set the tires to the preshure listed on the sidewall till you know what the actual, at least axle weights are. Bill
  2. When I was using a dolly I put it in a storage bay on the coach. Bill
  3. Ge Carl, I don't care what you have at home, I am talking about the marble in this entry. Bill
  4. Ge Carl, that is the problem with using real marble, it may not be as perfectly white as the fake stuff. I Like it just the way it is. Great job Ernie. Bill
  5. I did see a portable setup for solar that might work. It was like a smalsh folding table you put out if you needed a little charge. Bill
  6. Made me look as I bought Continentals last year. But I see they are 11R so they don't apply to me. Bill
  7. They don't clean them they just paint them. It is cheap for the builders to do it it covers the bad tape and beading under it. The next big thing with houses in the area is they figured out they could tell people they couldn't build basements and sell the houses for the same price. There are a couple contractors starting to offer basements again but not a wide practise. Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. Does it say it is a brake alarm? or just the alarm? Bill
  9. I have to agree with Brian. There are dozens of places that can rebuild radiators. Look here is just one. https://radiatorsupplyhouse.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjworfdBRA7EiwAKX9HeM0PuylMV8kn0NH1IBls4uIWvvu3z1p0abwFHvErOo0DS81ag-TQdhoC4GMQAvD_BwE Do a search. What is the part number for the starter? There has to be more to this. Why how did it happen? Wrong fluid? Bad filter? Something got stuck in the fan? Isn't this a hydraulic driven fan? Bill
  10. You were in jleamont territory. I am home in the Fort Worth area. Bill
  11. The OP hasn't been back since October 29, 2017. Bill
  12. That is a short time for that ambitious of a trip. I would consider adding at least 2 weeks to the front and 2 weeks to the back. Or all on the back a you will be on the southern portion of your trip by then. It would be easy to spend 30 days+ in montana Wyoming and Utah. Last trip that way I spent 30 days in just Utaw. As an example I just finished a 90 day 24 state 5,400 mile trip to the north east. I could have stayed on the Carolina, Georgia coast for a little longer but there was this small storm(Harvey) headed in and we decided to head home. Get a Passport America membership. https://www.passportamerica.com/ My better half doesn't like to travel without reservations. Changing plans has never been a problem. By the way we were in 26 different RV parks in the US and Canada. Many state and national parks charge as much as commercial parks and have fewer services or worse conditions. Not level, to tight spots. No sewer. Many were laid out and built when it was all tent camping. I would call today to get reservations at Trailer village in the Grand Canyon. That place is worth the effort as you are in the park and the shuttle stops in the campground to take you all over the park to places you can't drive to. You can but travel days are for travel. It will take longer and is harder to drive the state routes. I like to move my condo to a new location then use the toad to explore the area. I put 5400 miles on the coach and 6,000 miles on my CR-V. I do have experience driving US and state roads did that from lake Champlain across Vermont New Hampshire and into upper Maine North East of the White mountains. I have done similar out west. Bill
  13. Just keep in mind that those are MINIMUM preshure. I would add at least 10% for a safety cushion. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. All I can talk about are the Continental HSR2 on the back and HSL2 on the front. I was going to run all HSL2 tiers but couldn't get them in the time frame I needed so ended up with the 4 HSR2 on the back. They just have a more open tread design. In the last 2 years and over 12,000 miles I have been quite happy with the Continentals. They turned out to be over $100.00 cheaper per tier than the Michelin tires on the program, that is after the discount Bill
  15. What is the weight on your tags? Is it a duel or single wheel tag? Bill
  16. Do me a favor LandP, go look at the one that is working. See if it is the out board light that is lighting the amber lense. I found these same Doge headlights and am not shure how they light the amber lense. I don't see any outher wires or bulbs on the back. Bill
  17. I have the tall grass and weeds as I haven't mowed down at my "ranch" since before mid June. With all this rain and all the outher stuff going on It might be awhile. I will be using some Off when mowing near the bushes in the hedgerow. I don't want to use up a bottle of nail polish. Bill
  18. We don't have as bad problem with love bugs as south Texas and have seen them more east of Houston. More out in the rice patties of east Texas along I-10. I didn't see any west of mid Louisiana. I was coming west on I-20. What Herman said about CHIGGERS. They are all over the south. I just spray my feet and legs with off and you don't have that big of a problem. When you have a place you can treat the place and not have a problem. Bill
  19. What makes you say something like that? You have the choice where you buy fuel. I find the price especially with the discount is close enough to the lowest price in the area it isn't worth the aggravation of unhooking and hunting around to save a penny or two. Then having to return and hook up again is not what I want to do. Bill
