  1. I agree and I can't believe they would have shipped with anything but transynd on one that new. my 2003 shipped with transynd. Bill
  2. You can pick up the 101 (as they call it ) from the Canadian border south. You might want to check out the Long Beach area and the Lewis and Clark fort. I would never recommend you drive the coach on The 1 or even 1A. Most is drivable in the toad but trafic can be stupid bad. I have seen tourist stop in the middle of the road on a blind corner to take pictures. Bill
  3. You are such a rebel, but a non commercial one. Bill
  4. I went up and picked up I-90 in Wall (The Mass Turnpike West) and don't remember a problem. Bill
  5. You are in luck Motorhomes of Texas has 5 or 6 including the Wild Goose. http://motorhomesoftexas.com/ Bill
  6. Interesting all the control boards I have messed with have a "slow blow" fuse. Bill
  7. I would see if you have an Inland truck service shop near you. I belive they are a certafied Allison shop. I bought 5 gal Transynd from them for about $225.00 that included the gaskets and filters when I changed my fluid. See what they charge for doing the job. Toll Free: (800) 448-8436 https://www.inlandtruck.com/ Bill
  8. Welcome to the forum. Any pictures? Bill
  9. Kay, I believe he has one of the electric actuated clutches. The video is a good one on installing an adapter to replace the original fan clutch. Making it a full time direct drive, eliminating the clutch. Bill
  10. What you need to do is to replace the fan clutch. I wouldn't do anything else right now. What you need to do is to replace the fan clutch. Anything else is added profit for the dealer. What you need to do is to replace the fan clutch. Bill
  11. Welcome to the forum. No not unless you are using the coach comerchaley. Bill
  12. Fun place. I have been there a couple of times. Don't miss all the places in Gatlinburg. Bill
  13. Great picture of a clogged CAC. Jim S, That is anouther of my pet peeves is the lack of instrumentation. I wonder what his EGT's were running with that mess. Bill
  14. Welcome to the forum. Best advice I can give you get close and drive it with your Jeep Grand Cherokee as I don't know your skill or comfort level. It has be a while since I have driven it and that was in the toad. Bill
  15. Welcome to the forum. I used a LED wiring harness from Blue Ox like this. http://www.blueox.com/towing-accessories/bx88267/ Bill
  16. Well back to address the OP issues. The Viair 40047 400P-RV Automatic Portable Compressor Kit Has been reviewed to do a good job for a 12V compressor. But not all of the small 12V compressors will make everyone happy. They will work on the smaller tires than the 22.5. You can use one of these to seat the bead. Bill
  17. Yes, I agree. Under truth in advertising this was before this trip. I do carrey a 3/8 most of the time but have 1/2 for big air impact and you don't have the preshure loss. I have also used the 1/2 to run air to a manifold where I could plug in a couple air hoses. You also do better when the preshure in the tank is higher as it will fill the tier faster. Bill
  18. Welcome to the forum. I haven't heard anything negative about the Ready Brute Elite. Most of the systems that don't connect to the coach rely on some type of surge activation. Bill
  19. Ross, I would go with a 1/2 in hose as it will fill tires much faster than the 1/4 hoses. I made the mistake of using a 1/4 hose and it took forever to increase preshure in my tires. I have a Dewalt pancake that goes to 165#. Bill
  20. Good news! Tell her we are pulling for her. Bill
  21. I backed my pickup to where I could wedge a ladder up against the coach. Made it an easy lift. When working with any of these AC units be very careful as the metal is stamped and has razor sharp burs on all the edges. Bill
