Air Issues On 03 Fleetwood Excursion
wildebill308 replied to DWAYNECHERAMIE's topic in Type A motorhomes
I would like to see a picture before I decide it is the ride height valve. The description "Have 2 small connections on air line on drivers side front & rear , each have 2 small pin holes in them that bleed off air." Does not match what I have seen as a ride height valve and the control lever. Bill -
I think the OP is going to be OK. He knows going in they might not last as long as the 6V batteries. On the other hand we have 4 fingers and a thumb, new 12V deep cycle batteries are far better than they were 30 years ago. Bill

Welcome to the forum. Now I know what a OHV is and ATV but what is a utv? I would think a good jeep would be a good compromise. You need something that is good on the road and street legal to get around. Don't plan on being in the area for at least a week before and a week after bike week in Sturgis, August 7-13, 2017. Well if you like bikes it is the place to be. Bill

Welcome to the forum. Does it have a number on the assembly? Is it the filter base that is cracked? Do you have a picture of it? What is the partnumber of the cartridge? Does it look anything like this? https://www.amazon.com/Baldwin-CFB5000-Coolant-Filter-Base/dp/B0015RC5A0 Bill

Central Heat - Intellitec ECC and relay

They didn't stop putting thermostats in Fleetwood coaches, so find out what the upgrade/replacement was. I can't be that hard to wire in a new thermostat. Bill -

I just wanted to add that there are plenty of places to buy groceries and restock. You don't need to bring everything from home. Bill -
What does the owners manual say? I would call the factory and see what they say. Bill

Michigan Upper Peninsula-- Diesel Availability
wildebill308 replied to rhsjwjr's question in Destinations/Attractions
The campground we used, Frontier Bar & Campground had gas and a set of truck diesel pumps with easy acess. What was fun there are lots of jeep and 4 wheeler trails in that area. It would be nothing to se 5 or 6, 4 wheelers lined up getting gas. Bill -

I was up that way last summer. I drove us-2 across from St Ignace. I don't see a problem finding fuell. I start looking at 1/2 tank. Gasbuddy is your friend. Bill -
What do you have now? What about some thing like this? http://motorhomesoftexas.com/coachrv/foretravel/2007--nimbus--42342--P1261 You might look around on their site as they have several nice coaches. Bill

Welcome to the forum. The first question is what model of Master Tow Dolly does your friend have? The web site shows one model the 80TDH is wider. http://www.mastertow.com/tow_dollies.html I have a Acme tow dolly with disk brakes I used to tow a Civic. You need to be absolutely clear on the proper procedure to set it up to tow. I believe on the Master you lock the steering so the wheels can't turn as it has a pivoting base plate. Any questions let me know. Bill

I had Coach Net and The one time I used it it worked well. However I went with the current service offered by FMCA because Coach Net had gone up to almost double. You do understand all any of these services are, is a service to connect you to someone to do the work. You get the choice 1. have a tech come to you or 2. have the coach towed to some place to have the work done. If you have someone come out and they can't fix it, it is on you now to pay for the tow. Either way you will be paying for parts and labor. Bill

If your budget is a constraint I would be looking at a used diesel pusher. Bill
