  1. Welcome to the forum. I would charge it off the same circuit that charges your engine batteries as they ar not deep cycle. Bill
  2. Carl, you are going to get hate mail from the winemakers because you arn't doing your part . You need more consumption. The upside of DEF is the people I have talked to are geting better mileage from the engines turned to use DEF. Bill
  3. Now if you could only get it to use diesel at that rate. Bill
  4. The first thing I would do is stop listening to people who tell you you can't run it on gas when driving. The next thing to try is do a "power cycle" turn the frig off, turn all your power off "battery switch" after 5 minutes turn it back on and try it on gas. Make sure you have propane. Light the stove to check there is no air in the line. You should be able to hear the burner light and burn. If it still won't work, take the cover off the circuit board and check the fuse. I think it is a 5 amp. Let us know if that works. Bill
  5. Roland, It is easy to sit back and give advice. I am going to back up what Carl and Black said. If you take care of your coach it will outlast you. GET WHAT YOU WANT. Let the kids trade it on what they want when the time comes. Well better advise is get one the wife likes. Bill
  6. I don't think I would have let anyone see the connector in the left front. For those who need new cables here is a source. They are sealed and won't corrode as easily. http://www.bestboatwire.com/ The custom made ones are about as cheap as the ones I got at Napa and better quality. Bill
  7. Welcome to the forum. Download RV Parkey and Rv campground reviews they will help you find and evaluate the campgrounds you are looking for. http://www.rvparky.com/ http://www.rvparkreviews.com/ What I look fore may not be what you are looking for. Bill
  8. What I did was I got a price from the dealer, basically an out the door price. Then with the price from the dealer and the price of the tires from Michelin I had a pretty good idea of the price and savings. I think having the Contentel program will help put preshure on Michelin to lower their prices. Bill
  9. You are absolutely right. You look cleaner than I did the night I patched a leaking air line under my coach. Bill
  10. I think I could get it turned around but would have to unhook the toad first. I did a turn around on a much narrower road with trees to dodge in West Virginia. I am afraid I may have talked badly about campground people who don't know how to rout you to their place. Bill
  11. Well if they do it probbabley won't be in my lifetime. Bill
  12. One other thing to be careful about is when you get near the border and you don't have your phone set up for international travel. You can pick up a cell tower across the border and not know it. All those apps that update automatically will cost you a bunch when it is billed as international roaming. Bill
  13. Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new toy. Bill
  14. Ok inquiring minds want to know WHERE IS IT AND WHAT WERE YOU DOING THERE? Bill
  15. Add some water and shake the chassis till mixed. Bill
  16. This will be a must have for those who let their coaches set all winter. I wonder if the best practis would be to drain the DEF tank before storage. Bill
  17. Welcome to the forum. I think I would check my GPS settings that dosen't look like I-40. Bill
  18. Welcome to the foum. Bill
  19. What are your chassis batteries? Freightliner had OEM start batteries on sale for $69.00 ea. They are the maintenance free type. I think they are groupe 31. Bill
  20. Welcome to the forum. I would look for a local chapter to join in your area. Bill
  21. I would sell it on consignment. Look at this site. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/ Bill
  22. One outher way is to use a thin putty knife, start it under one edge and slowly apply preshure and the tape will release. A hair dryer will speed up the process. Bill
  23. I don't know what faucet you have but I replaced my sink faucet with onr the head pulls out and can be used as a sprayer out to fill a tall pan. We like it a lot more than the stock one. Bill
  24. Try taking the strainer off the end of the faucet and see if water comes out. Bill
  25. We were there last summer. We had not been in the area before so spent time at East Glacier and West Glacier. I do recommend using the West entrance. We stayed at Glacier Peaks Mini Storage, 3185 MT-40, Columbia Falls, MT 59912, glacierpeaksrvpark.com, (406) 892-2133. It is on MT-40 but only about 100 yards from where US-2 Tees in to MY-40. US-2 is your main road around the south side of the park. Plan on taking a Red Bus Tour http://www.glaciernationalparklodges.com/red-bus-tours You can drive your toad on the Going to the sun road but I enjoyed the tour and the guides input. This is probbabley the only way to get a parking place at Logan Pass Visitor's center. Here is a good web site to get more info. https://www.nps.gov/glac/index.htm. From I-90 go north on 93 to Kalispell then pick up US-2 North. I also endorse Jim & Mary's RV Park. When in the West Yellowstone area we stayed at Buffalo Run RV Park & Cabins it is out a little ways but was suited to the other things we were doing in the area. Any questions just ask. Bill
