Welcome to the forum. The first thing I would check is the air mixture. You may have something like spider webs blocking the air flow. If you have the right mixture it should burn with a blue flame and no soot. Bill

Look in the stack of documentation you got with the coach. There maybe a code for the key. Take the code to a locksmith and he can cut a new one. Or call Fleetwood with your VIN number and they can supply you with the key code. Bill

There is always a risk when the wind is blowing hard. You may feel more comfortable with bringing the slides in during thee worst of the wind. I would definitely bring them in when you leave the coach for an extended time. Bill

I second the Huston plan. In Fort Worth there is going to be a string of really cold,for hear, days starting tomorrow. The temperature will drop from mid 70s to low to mid 20s overnight. Houston would be my choice of a place to leave my coach. I take it you are not going to winterise it. If you do winterise it. You could leave it anywhere. I would still look at the Houston area. Tom, welcome to the forum. Kind of hard to tell without seeing if there were any codes stored about the event. Did you notice the water temperature during the event? Were there any other symptoms like bucking? I have basically the same engine. I think my coach sat for a long time before I got it. I didn't have a major contaminated fuel problem but I ran several tanks of fuel with a double dose of Diesel Kleen additive. You may still have some deposits in the system that caused a temporary derate. Let us know what you find. Bill
