Good Job. Who said you can't teach pilots to do basic maintenance. Bill

Glad you found the leak. Now pay yourself a nice bonus that you could have payed someone else to find the leak. Good Job. Bill

Ok, by the way how did you anchor it in place? Bill

City Water Connection Not Working
wildebill308 replied to pjfromny's topic in Water and Holding Tanks
Well if it had a true OFF position I would call it a 3 way. Like Brett said. Position 1= tank fill, Position 2= connected to house water line on the house side of water pump. The valve you show is also a water regulator, It apparently does control water preshure to some degree. There is also a check valve so the water can't drain out when the hose is disconnected. I think this where the problem may be. Without looking at his system the only other possibility I see is the handle is not turning the valve and it is partially turned blocking both inlet and tank fill. Bill -
Welcome to the forum Dave, I would do what Brett said and run it by the dealer. At least get it documented under warranty. Later if they can't fix it at the local level I would think about Decatur. Bill

This will simplify your trip to the canyon. They have shuttle busses that take you around for free and they pick you up in the RV park. They take you places you can't drive your toad. Now here are a few of the places we stayed in that part of the world. Overnite RV Park, 900 S Lakeside Dr, Amarillo, TX 79118, overnitervpark.com, (806) 373-1431 Just past Cadillac Ranch the famous “art” instillation. The people are trying hard but it is a little rough. Narrow sites but utility’s worked. SUN VALLEY RV RESORT, 86029, 7625 Quartzsite St, Holbrook, AZ 86025, sunvalleyrvresort.com (928) 524-2972 Fender's River Road Resort & Motel, 3396 Needles Hwy, Needles, CA 92363, fendersresort.com, (760) 326-3423. Don’t let them put you down the hill by the river. Not the greatest but ok for overnight. Are you taking highway 64 out of the grand Canyon area to go to Monument Valley? Sun Valley and Fenders were basically for overnight. They arn't fancy but worked. Bill

Coach Net Or FMCA Roadside Assistance?
wildebill308 replied to gordiegaffer's topic in Type A motorhomes
I switched to the FMCA plan because Coach net increased in price. I used Coachnet one time and had no complaints. Yes I looked at Good Sam's but I see a lot of complaints. Bill -
Nice looking coach. Are you coming to Chandler? Bill

I was thinking that some of the wheels that they are running are 22" if you could figure out how to attach it, why not. Bill
-
I don't know I will let you be the first on your block to have them. Bill
-
No but if I did I might drive at night. Now if you could get this setup to map your coach you could be SOMEBODY at the camp ground. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1F0kt3AidE Bill

OK OK that is nice for setting there but what about when you are going down the road. How about this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ISeA8ppZwlo Bill

Well I thought I would re visit this old thread. I changed the oil on my hubs in March of last year. I found I have a "drain" and used that to get all the oil out that would drain out. I re did the hubs yesterday while it was a nice 80* day. The oil I got out looked like new oil. so with the change this time I feel I have gotten the majority changed. When you drain it there is possibly some you can't get out, that's why I did it twice. I will add this "CAUTION" when you are adding the new hub oil it takes a fairly long time for it to seep back through the bearings. It may look full but in 4-5 min will be below the full line. You can rotate the tires to speed this up. This also gives you a chance to feel for any play or roughness in the bearings. Bill

Well the OP hasn't responded so we don't know what is going on. I wonder if just tightening his valve would stop the leak. Bill

I like the crime scene tape. Now all Keon needs is some led flamingos add some garden gnomes and a laser light projector and he will be ready to go. It amazes me how much stuff some people haule around to put out. One time watched some people setting up across from us and they spent 2 hours geting out stuff. Latter when I was walking the dog I asked how long were they staying. I was a little surprised when they said they were leaving in the morning. Bill

Nice coach. Did it come with the guard dog? Bill

See if you had kept your old fridge you could just take it out and pour it in the bowl. Save wear and tear on the microwave. Bill

Herman if you need cable look this site they will custom make the cable and it is corrosion resistant marine quality cable. http://www.bestboatwire.com/ Bill

If your wife wants one install it. We have a Bissel sweeper that does a good job when on the road and use the Hoover upright for deep cleaning when home. You still need to find a place to store the hose and attachments with a built in. Bill

Not a problem. Drove it this summer. Where are you staying? Where are you stopping? Bill

Invisibrake - Pump Toad Brake Pedal
wildebill308 replied to pcowen's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
Yes I always pump my brakes to get all the "power" out of the system. You can lock up and slide the tires on your toad and get strange looks from people in the campground. Bill -
I agree as long as you know it will do that. The first time I realised my coach did that I ended up with a almost empty tank when I thought I had a 1/2 tank. Bill
-
Like Bill A said the only downside is using the water in your onboard tank. Bill
