  1. Welcome to the forum JohnRye. You might try googling your current make and model of microwave. Most will give dimensions that way you don't need to pull it out till you are ready. Now find a microwave /convection that is the same size. I bought my last one from Home Depot online with free shiping. Bill
  2. Ok you can't shift into 6th. I don't think it is to hi of rpm, just higher than what I am use to seeing. I run about 1650 at 65 mph. Bill
  3. I am hoping to hear more on the new program with Continental. I bet it won't get rolled out till after the first of the year. Bil
  4. Did you call FMCA and see what the plan price was? Did you ask the tire dealer? Bil
  5. I think it was one of those "great ideas" that later proved to be not so great. That and propane was cheaper back then. They work well but use lots of propane. Bill
  6. I actually tried to find the right part number in the list and found it was easier to talk to the dealer to be sure I was looking at the right part number for my application. If you read what I posted carefully you will see I said to call FMCA and ask for the Michelin tire program office. Bill
  7. I normally don't look at non slide coaches but here are a couple more and one is on of those off brand coaches. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1987-Foretravel-Grandvilla-34190.htm http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1997-American-Eagle-By-Fleetwood-33900.htm and for the fans of short no slide coaches. http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/diesel/1992-Regent-33673.htm Bill
  8. You are definitely ready for some new tires. I just used the Michelin program to by tires for my toad so let me see if I can help. Go to the local Michelin dealer and get the Michelin price and part number for your tire, then call FMCA ask for the Michelin program and give them the number and they will tell you the price. You might want to check on a couple different tires. Like the XRV. Bill
  9. This is why it is so important to have a toad. If you don't have a toad there is so much you miss because it is not accessible in a coach. Yes I have driven The Kancamagus Highway, great drive, I have recomended it to my friends with motorcycles. One thing I thought was fun is I-93 through the gap becomes a one lane freeway. Your basik 2 lane road made like a freeway. Bill
  10. I agree this is the only site that I have problems with. In IE my spell check doesn't work but it does in Chrome. Bill
  11. Heare is a hint, I can see my sig when using Internet explorer but not with Google Chrome. I like Chrome. Bill
  12. I wouldn't get to worried about the mountains out west. If you can drive the mountains in the East you can drive the mountains out West. I have found some steep grades in the east that made me question the 6% grade singe as they looked more like 12%. I have been up through Franconia Notch. We stayed down at Newfound Lake at Newfound RV Park. We were going to drive the toad to the top of Mount Washington but the line was 40 cars long and they wouldn't let anyone up till some came down. Maybe next summer. Bill
  13. Let me test it now. Still not seeing my signature. Bill
  14. I have dual front slides and I don't see me buying a coach with just one front slide even if it was just me. No slides, forgetaboutit. Bill
  15. That's it, I don't know why I can't see my sig or any ones else now, I could before. Bill
  16. Why are no signature displayed now? I checked my settings and yes I still have one in my profile. I can see no other signatures either. Bill
  17. It's not as hard as it sounds. I would look up what your max rpm is so you can stay below it. I don't know if your Cat has a rev limiter like my Cummins. My little 5.9 is limited to 2800. On big hills I will down shift till I can maintain about 2200- 2400 rpm. This keeps the fan speed up and the coach runs cool. Bill
  18. Well payed my money so I better go. We will be going in early on the 6th to be parked with the Red River Rovers. We will have a Forum Meet & Greet, I don't have a schedule, yet stay tuned. Keign, be sure you tell them you are first timers. The same for any first timers as they have special events planned for you. Bill
  19. Welcome to the forum. I would start with Sam's Club or Costco. You should be ablle to find ones that meet or exceed the ones you have installed. Bill
  20. Cleaning the CAC and radiator are/should be an annual task. Just part of your annual maintenance. When driving in the mountains you may need to be a little more proactive in using the gear pad to keep your RPM up to help keep it cooler and ease the load going uphill. The basic rule of thumb is if you can't accelerate in a gear on a hill you should drop down to where you can. There are hills out west but nothing you can't get over. Bill
  21. The key here is to wipe them down before retracting them after they sit for any extended time. The reason, well a couple of reasons, makes them retract easily and helps prevent damage to the seal in the ram. It would be beneficial at the start of storage to wipe them down to protect the exposed shafts from coroshion. Bill
