  1. I am not going to say you should have labeled the wires and taken lots of pictures before you took the cables off. Really I am not going to say it. Hopefully Fleetwood can email you a diagram quickly. Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum Kent and hoggem. The most common product used is Dicor lap sealant. There are several varieties for different types of roof such as rubber or fiberglass. There are also two different consistency Dicor products. The self leveling and the non self leveling. You don't want to use the self leveling where it can sag such as where the seam runs over the edge of the roof. Some people just clean the existing caulk and seal over it. This works but soon you get a big ugly mess and it may still leak. I tend to clean off the old sealant and re apply. Kent, I would try that number as that thread is over a year old and I haven't seen him back. Bill
  3. One other thing to try is spray penetrating oil into the arm and slide the arm out sharply to see if the lock is just gummed up. If it starts working spray some oil in to keep it lubed. Bill
  4. Try this, with the car hooked up try backing the car up and see if the arms lock. Is it a new tow bar? It may just be stiff. Bill
  5. Chandler is next year March 7-10th and just a short run. The next International Convention is in Indianapolis, July 12-16, 2017. There will be lots of how to seminars and training available. Bill
  6. I wish fagnaml would come back and talk to us. It still sounds to me he is not geting into 6th gear. Bill
  7. Glad you are making progress. Have you tried Duncan Systems? There is another glass installer but I don't remember their name. Some one else will be along that can add them. http://www.duncansys.com/home Bill
  8. Well that didn't take long it is sold and gone. Bill
  9. Love this new forum format. now I don't see my signature. Bill
  10. Look in the section "settings" and under "settings area" under "Signature" where you entered your signature and see if the switch "View signatures?" is on. It sounds more complicated than it is. Bill
  11. Nice coach. Now you can add it to your signature. Bill
  12. Like Brett said I would verify the rim with will work. The dealer should be able to do that. As to ride there are many components beside size of the side wall. The composition of the material and rubber make more difference. I am thinking these will be a little higher rated(weight wise) and you may be able to run less air pressure and improve the ride. You will need to weigh your coach to do that. New tires will give you a smoother ride any way. Bill
  13. $49,500 is cheap for that quality coach. Bill
  14. Not my ideal coach If it doesn't have opposing slides in the front I am not interested. But it looks like a cream puff for those looking for something with no slides. Bill
  15. There have been several people posting in the past that wanted a coach with no slides. I was looking at something else when this popped up. I think if you are looking for a premium coach with no slides this is a steal. It is a 1996 Foretravel. For those who don't know I would consider Foretravel to be one of the top 5 makers. http://kennedale.rvusa.com/1996-foretravel-u295-36-diesel-used-class-a-tx-i1975638 I just thought I would share. Bill
  16. I see why you have to use the ladder brackets. I have a rear radiator so I have a place to attach my egg. I am with you "I call it comradely" but some don't want to associate with us rabble. Bill
  17. I am not sure what fuel capacity would do for operating cost other than being able to take advantage of cheaper fuel when available, GasBuddy is your friend. Mallie, You definitely picked a great coach for a starter. Bill
  18. That is great. Glad they got it back on quickly. Bill
  19. Herman, Hope they get the power back on. If they don't just fire up the BBQ and get that turkey done. Isn't it nice to have the power from the coach. Bill
  20. You deserve a day off. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Bill
  21. Just be extremely careful I have seen oil fiers from not doing it right. It does a tasty job. What time will it be ready? Bill
  22. I use Power Service Diesel Kleen. I use the silver bottle in the summer and white in the colder months in every tank and dose with their Biocide. I mostly use the Biocide when it is going to be parked for a while. When on a trip I use it about every 5 tank to counter anything I may have picked up. Bill
  23. Welcome to the forum Chad and Happy Thanksgiving. The problem with tires is it is what you can't see. Here are some good reference links. The first one talks about service life of tires. In the first bulletin they talk about having your tires inspected by a dealer at 5 years and some where I have the bulletin that states after 5 they should be dismounted and inspected https://www.michelinb2b.com/wps/b2bcontent/PDF/3_TB_Service_Life_RV_Motorhome.pdf http://www.michelinrvtires.com/assets/pdf/MotorHomeTireArticle.pdf http://www.michelinrvtires.com/reference-materials/videos/ Look at the FMCA Michelin plan. You can also buy tires for your other cars with it to. I just saved $172.00 on the tires for my toad. We are waiting to hear about a plan with Continental to be announced, soon I hope. I know the cost is high to replace your tires but one blow out can cost you much more. Bill
  24. Welcome to the forum. Most likley if the FMCA towing guide doesn't show it it is not towable. What does the owner's manual say? Is it all wheel drive My research at Remco shows it IS NOT towable 4 down. The all wheel must use a trailer but the front wheel drive may be towed on a dolly. http://www.remcoindustries.com/Towing/Store.php Bill
  25. Happy Thanksgiving, thanks for reporting back. I bet I know someone who will be dosing his tank with a biocide regularly. Bill
