  1. Here is a mat that might help and a link to an acid resistant paint. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sft-batterymat1 http://www.skygeek.com/345qt.html?utm_source=googlebase&utm_medium=shoppingengine&utm_content=345qt&utm_campaign=froogle&gclid=Cj0KEQjwvOC5BRCb_8yNmZ_ls9IBEiQACTz8vtixWTyb23D0-MQ7PtDFN3hPPInSJJzl9i-zY3Dim9UaAq4c8P8HAQ Bill
  2. What Herman & Tom said but use an acid resistant paint. Bill
  3. No problem I can get it going. The new slide locks are working great. What kind of mileage should I get at 75? Bill
  4. I have not tried to keep track. Although I did work some numbers with a friend who was thinking about using a coach for business trips. Flying and renting a car is cheaper till you get past three weeks. He couldn't make the "time" part work because he was doing shorter trips. Every once in awhile someone wants to look at owning a RV as a investment, looking to break even or make money. Good luck. Bill
  5. I have the latest vershione ove IE 11 and it is updetrd autometricley. Interstinley it sayes there are no missee spellled wordes in this poste. I do not think the problem is my computer as it was working just fine till your upgrade and continues to work fine on outher forums. Bill
  6. I would be trying to figure out what caused the problem. I would be testing the wiper module and see why it isn't working. Just changing the connectors may just result in more magic smoke escaping. Worse case the connectors are there to make the original instillation easier. If you can't find the original connectors you can cut the old ones out and use crimp butt connectors to replace the original. Bill
  7. Chrome is up to date and I am running no extensions. Why isn't spell check working in Internet Explorer? Bill
  8. Great footage! What gear and rpm were you pulling? My luck is to get behind someone like the coach you passed who is going alot slower and be blocked in by passing traffic. Then I just half to slow down and stay in line. Bill
  9. So when are you going to fix the issues I posted about? So far no answer or response other than this one " We don't own or develop the software, so we do not have a comprehensive list of changes and new features that accompany updates. The provider publishes a blog to announce new version releases, but much of the info pertains to back-end users - Admin, etc. So, you're left with feeling things out a bit" REALLY??? So apparently it is to much trouble to post the applicable parts explaining the new features because we won't understand all that technical stuff. You might be surprised what some out hear understand. "when using Chrome the site looks nothing like it does when using Internet explorer. I started to use Chrome because the "spell check" in internet explorer isn't working on this site. the tab for new content is now just the "page" icon and takes you to all the forums not a list of new content. Well it would be easier if someone viewed the site using Chrome and maybe all the main browsers to see if it is presenting the same." Nothing has changed. Actually I think it is your job to make this site work in whatever browser I have. I absolutely believe it should work in the two top/most used browsers and it isn't my job to try to find a browser that works. You will note that as I posted it isn't working in Chrome your "recommended" browser nor is it working correctly in Internet Explorer. Bill
  10. Hi Don. I am not understanding what you are calling "wire ends" Are you talking about the connectors on the wiring bundle? Are we talking about the connectors/cannon plug on the wiper control module? If you look with a magnifier there may be part numbers on the plugs. Bill
  11. We had a like button but they didn't give any guidance on what it was and how it was supposed to function before it was taken away again. There were several features like that, no one explained the changes and the when someone asked about it they were taken down. Bill
  12. What is the procedure in your owner's manual? Some require the engine to be running to supply more 12v power. Are you hooked up to shore power? Bill
  13. Fred, what is the problem with your mirrors?
  14. I think the "fluid surge" problem would be minimal. How much is a few hundred pounds sloshing around going to effect a 30,000+ coach. Kind of like leaning into the turn. The main problem is as Brett mentioned the fuel is used to keep components cool less fuel less heat sink. The other thing is not getting into a bind for fuel. Back in the day (as they say) I was driving a class C Ford chassis when one of the fuel pumps decided to quit. We were on a trip so I decided to wait till we got home to fix it. That left me with a total usable fuel capacity of about 18 gal. That gave me a range of about 175 miles. On one leg out in west Texas I was getting below 1/8 tank. pulled in and found out the pumps were down. I asked where the next gas was and was able to get there with the low fuel light on and some sweat on the brow. I don't run on the bottom half of the tank thank you. Bill
  15. I like the quick connects, I have a plastic one on the black tank flush. I might upgrade to the brass ones. I have enough room as my wet area has a compartment just forward that has the water pump. I keep my water hoses in that compartment along with the coax cable to hook up to the campground cable connection. I hope that hose works for you. Bill
  16. Actually that is one of the first of that type that I have seen that was listed as safe for drinking water. I wonder how well the connectors hold up? They look like they only have a knurled band to grasp when tightening the connectors. I will be interested to hear how they work. I am replacing a couple of the cheap whit hoses from Walmart and Camping world because the fittings are so thin and cheap they just crack and leak. I am looking at Camco hoses. Bill
  17. Where did the "like" button go??? Bill
  18. I would bet a 6 pack that if you ran 10 tanks both ways you wouldn't be able to see a difference that you could point to and say it was the weight. There are so many other things that affect mileage. Here is something you might like to read. Not all applies to driving a motorhome but it is informative. https://cumminsengines.com/brochure-download.aspx?brochureid=104 Bill
  19. Gary, always work off the top 1/2 of the tank. I start looking ahead for a good fuel stop at 1/2 that way if the first couple of places are going to be hard to get in or out of I can keep going. I will bet you can't tell the difference in milage. I travel on the top of the fuel tank and with 1/2 water and empty holding tanks. One other reason to use the top of the tank is your generator will shut down when you get below 1/4 tank. Bill
  20. I would tell them that you want to do the walk through and final inspection before you close. That way you will get much better service if you find something that needs a little attention. Bill
  21. We better watch out or the thread police will be on us.. You should get a hallmark from your coach two. since you have been fixing all the problems. Bill
  22. And your anniversary is hard to forget. Bill
  23. You get at least two great meals out. Bill
  24. Have you orderd flowers yet??? Bill
