  6. Might be a good candidate for upgrading to LED. Less heat and less power draw. Bill
  7. That is TCC they do some amazing work. I also appreciated the company motto: “We’re not here to tell you what you need. We’re here to give you what you want.” In Alvarado REV Group took over the old Ancira property just down the street from Motorhomes Specialists. You might be able to see one from the outher. Bill
  8. Good I heard they brought some people from the other facility and were trying to get this one up to speed. Doing a start up on a big facility like that must be a big pain in the.... Just wondering do they have a walk in parts department. Bill
  9. Well to me "Is this the recommended pressure or maximum allowable pressure of wheel/tire combination? " Does not read as a retorical question. So I thought I might be wrong. After all I can't spell and have ben wrong before. Simple Definition of question: a sentence, phrase, or word that asks for information or is used to test someone's knowledge : a matter or problem that is being discussed: a subject or topic : doubt or uncertainty about something A rhetorical question is a question that you ask without expecting an answer. The question might be one that does not have an answer. It might also be one that has an obvious answer but you have asked the question to make a point, to persuade or for literary effect. Bill
  10. Yes but remember it is less than the $466,000.00 he was paying. So from that perspective it is a deal. Bill
  11. Ok I won't send you a list of campgrounds in the valley. Just so outhers understand. REV GROUPE is the new corporate name for American Coach, Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler and Monaco. So this is a factorey repair center. Bill
  12. To add to what Rich was saying. The sticker in the coach probably relates to the gross (maximum) weight set by the manufacture. If you run that pressure, it will cover the maximum weight you should have in your coach. The tire manufactures tables are based on the actual weights recorded for a given tire. I would always run a 10lb cushion to compensate for weight creep or changes in elevation or the normal air loss. Remember if you are running at the exact pressure recommended by the manufacture, if you lose one pound you are running under inflated. Now the tier man will correct all I have said. Bill
  13. You can always write RV on it with a Sharpe if it makes you feel better. Bill
  14. I think it has more to do with FMCA being more worried about losing the revenue from the payed ads in the magazine than any problem with big advertisers. Why is it nearly all the other forums on the web have a want ad/for sale area for the members, and they aren't losing money from paying advertisers. Bill

Welcome to the forum, Nice coach. Bill
  16. If you can't find anything else you could clean the gaps and fill them with RTV silacone. Just build it up a little higher so it is slightley compressed when closed like the original seal. Bill
  17. No it's terable down hear in Texas today was 74 and it is going all the way down to 55 tonight. You won't like it no snow,to warm and it might rain. REV Group has opend a new center but I haven't heard from anyone who has used them. http://revrvgroup.com/service/texas.asp Then one that gets good reviews from everyone I have talked to that have used them, Texas Custom Coach. http://www.manta.com/c/mmd8gzk/texas-custom-coach Watch this video. Bill
  18. Jerry get the numbers off the lens and do a google search to see what they are from. Then you can look for the best price. Bill
  19. Herman, I have used BMW headlights two so maybe this fall I will start looking at replacements. Using a polish after will help keep them from weathering. I went looking for the polish we use to use on F-16 transparency. I found it but it is a little pricey $38.67 for 32oz. But it does work. I liked it better when someone else was buying. http://www.amazon.com/Mothers-PowerBall-4Lights-Headlight-Restoration/dp/B00341MIAW https://www.hi-line.com/tex-whizr-aviation-windshield-cleaner-polishing-compound.html Bill
  20. If I didd you woulden't have nout thing to do.
  21. I would go to your local Homedepo or hear is one on line for $13.95 http://www.supplyhouse.com/Watts-0342692-M335M2-3-4-Male-Pressure-Relief-Valve?gclid=Cj0KEQjwrZ24BRC098fr-OqnuMkBEiQAKQ9lgCavsyKXClF6XvznTrndhtZn_sd0iv_eWB1ggdYOwAAaAmj98P8HAQ It's the same valve. Try opening it and turning the leaver bak and forth. Some times theey just get crud in the valve seat and you can clean them out and theyy will seal. If it is leaking you have lost your air pocket in the top of the hot water heater. Shut off the water realeave the preshure and open the valve till no water drains out. This will restore your air pocket in the top of the hot water heater. Bill
  22. Well this year as I was getting ready to do my annual oil change I had a question come up. (I always do my oil sample and get the results back before draining my oil.) I was looking at a forum that was championing Blackstone labs as the go to lab. Well I have been using JG labs. So I decided this was a good chance to find out if you got the same results from both labs. I ordered my sample kit’s. Blackstone will send you sample kits and you pay when they run them. JG you by the kits and just send them in to be run. From Blackstone, the standard analysis costs $28.00 and includes the following: Spectral Exam: Establishes the levels of wear metals, silicon, and additives present in the oil. Also checks for coolant. Viscosity: Determines the grade of oil. Insolubles: Quantifies the percentage of solids present in the oil. Flashpoint: The flashpoint is the temperature at which the vapors from the oil ignite. When the flash is lower than it should be, it shows a contaminant (usually fuel) is present. They will run a TBN (Total Base Number) test for $10.00 more this measures how much of your additive package is still there (useful if you want to extend oil change). http://www.blackstone-labs.com/ From JG I bought the Advanced Oil Analysis Kit, $26.95 The Advanced Kit May be used for engines, transmissions, gear boxes, differentials, or refrigerator truck circulation motors. Includes all of the tests included in the Basic Oil Analysis Kit plus TBN (Total Base Number) for engine oil samples, TAN (Total Acid Number) for non-engine oil samples and Oxidation/Nitration. http://www.jglubricantservices.com/ I already had a vacuum pump so when I got the kits in I pulled both at the same time. I sample both the engine and the transmission. Taking a good sample is absolutely necessary to getting usable reports. When you feed in the plastic tube never let it hit the bottom of the pan as you will get a bad sample. I measure the dipstick and mark the tube with tape so I know how far to insert it. Both web sites have instructions on how to sample. Well I have more than a passing interest as I use to work in an oil lab in the AF and was the one running the samples and interpreting what they meant. I am happy to say the results were good and both were basically the same. One positive for Blackstone is they show historical averages for what you are testing so the average person can tell how they are doing by comparing there results to the average report. Bill
  23. Welcome to the forum. One four Cat experts will see this soon and be able to give you some advise. Bill
  24. I have to have the key on. Like I said there is no "standard" way used by all builders. Bill
  25. Carl, can't help it I left out about the scratches I got in the coach in Washington state where the campground roads were lined by scrub trees and brush and the site was so tight I couldn't back in with out dragging the front end in the brush. When I got parked I was 4 inches from the bumper of the coach behind me and was proud into the road. But I digress. Now I know of some people who have ben using them and are happy. They are full time. I can only report what I saw and experienced first hand. I did get rather mad when they charged my credit card with out permission. That was after repeatedly telling me that it was a one time one year deal. There are other restrictions on staying in parks and if you stay over X number of nights you can't go to another TT park till you have ben out of the system a certain number of days. Charging for 50 amp. But some love the TT life. Bill
