  1. I didn't find it that bad. But you use the loop around Boston. I used that basic rout when I went from Main down to the Lancaster area this summer. Bill
  2. Welcome to the forum. I would go up and take I-80 across(east) to I-287 over the Governor Mario M. Cuomo Bridge then over to I-95 north. Where in Maine? Be aware, Going now you better call and see if any place is open. Bill
  3. Welcome to the forum. Most likely it is a F53 chassis. Look at the placard in the coach. Something else to do is replace all your rubber bushings in your sway bar with polypropylene ones. Look up the Cheap Handling Fix. Bill
  4. That is true, I am also seeing any nice coach go quickly for near new pricing. Friends sold a 2 1/2 year old Tiffin for what they payed for it the same day they listed it. You can watch the videos on https://www.youtube.com/c/Rvtexasyall/videos Bill
  5. Are you using the gas or electric modes or both? Make shure the bypass valves are all in the correct position and all the way closed. When was the last time you drained and flushed the tank? Bill
  6. I think the problem is your converter (it converts 120 volt to 12 volt) is not powering the charger. Find out what the fault light is for. Look in your settings and see what the charger is set to. Let us know what you find. Stray thought, some converters need a temp sensor hooked to the batteries to work correctly. Make shure if you have one it is hooked up correctly. Bill
  7. Yes and some places the line is the edge of the world and in others it is broken off to. Wife was upset because there was nothing under her as we turned except that grass way down there. No wait that isn't grass it is pine trees. I would drive it in your toad before you take the RV over it. Bill
  8. I don't care where it is or the age of the coach. I have the expectation that if they can't perform the requested work that it be maintained in a safe and secure condition. There isn't a Freightliner dealer out there that doesn't know that you need to have a RV plugged in to maintain the batteries or to prevent freezing. Well once more the OP hasn't come back. Bill
  9. I am with Carl. I don't understand the "NO POWER" at a dealer. I think I would be telling the dealer you need at least 30 amp power. I would also point out that because they didn't plug your coach in letting your batteries go dead may have ruined them. Bill
  10. Yes just wondering what is wrong with your current coach? I also wonder why you didn't answer the questions I asked? Bill
  11. Good luck It is a tight supply out there right now. Who do you consider the top Tiffin dealer? They may be running out of build slots for 2022. Just curious, No interest in anything but the make and model you have? I was looking at NIRVC https://www.nirvc.com/Sales?start=0&fq=status%3AAvailable  and they had some Tiffins, but had a couple outher nice Tiffin, Newmar and Entegra coaches. Let us know what you find. Bill
  12. Well, REV Group https://www.revgroup.com/ is the parent company for: American Coach Monaco, Holiday Rambler, Fleetwood RV, Renegade RV, Midwest Automotive Designs, Lance Campers. There are different levels for different people but I am fairly shure the American Eagle may come up to your standards. Are you saying General RV has this facility that checks RV's after they leave the factory but before they get to the dealer? All quality dealers have a pre delivery inspection. Some do a much better job than others. Look at National Indore RV Centers https://www.nirvc.com/Sales?start=0&fq=status%3AAvailable I would include Entegra in your search. Bill
  13. Welcome to the forum. I think you are understanding why many of us self insure. Bill
  14. What you are seeing is the charging voltage not the state of charge. Yes they are probably bad. Bill
  15. When I was having problems with my old truck eating front wheel bearings I found Sta-lube products. They do an amazing job of staying in the bearings not getting pushed out. https://www.carid.com/sta-lube/ Bill
  16. Welcome to the forum. Depending on your ability's it might be doable yourself. There are several You tube vireo's about doing various upgrades. I didn't notice any big RV shops when I was in Rochester a couple months ago sorry. Bill
  17. Thanks Rayin. I had never investigated how they worked. Bill
  18. Have you called your local Freightliner dealer parts counter? What about outher heavy truck parts places https://www.inlandtruck.com/locations/ftworth-tx.php There may be one close to you Toll Free: (800) 448-8436 Another one to check with is Fleet Pride. https://branches.fleetpride.com/tx/saginaw/truckparts-ftw.html Good luck. Bill
  19. What is the part you need? What is the part number? What is the Freightliner chassis number? Welcome to the forum. Bill
  20. I would call National Indoor RV Centers at Phone,615-527-8960 and ask them who they use. Bill
  21. Can you drive I-95 or do you have to get off the main freeways? I do know how much fun the city streets are, Double F bomb!! Bill
  22. I thought you were down on the cape? Bill
