I think the inspection camera is a good idea. Could be several things. Could be plugged up by mud dober nest. Could be the vent has slipped down into the tank till it is on the bottom of the tank and won't vent. Bill

I would recommend Sta Lube Wheel Bearing Grease. It does a better job of staying in the bearings where it does the most good. http://www.amazon.com/automotive/fluids I would pack them before you leave and check them when you get back. Make shure you set the pre load properly. Many don't get it right and blame the bearing failure on the grease. Bill

Yes Quality is a problem all through the industry. Some are worse than others. You might look at a better quality used coach. They may have worked all/most the problems out. Bill

sdllc03, Welcome to the forum. This may sound silly but look at the front of your xantrex Freedom 458. In the upper left area are a couple raised bumps. They are switches. Make shure they are on. Let me know what you find. Bill

Look at your shift pad. There is a button on the upper right side marked ECON. It will help on keeping the transmission from downshifting to quickly. Like on overpasses. When on a hill if you can't accelerate in a gear you need to down shift till you can accelerate then stay in that gear and keep your RPM up near the peak HP range. Bill

I think they are listing it for a customer. Did you look at the rest of the site? I would get it inspected but it is $35-45,000 below what others are going for. I would sharpen my pencell LOL. It checks all your boxes and then some. 500HP, tag on a 40 ft coach, Side radiator, Generator on a slide. Absolutely a quality coach that sold new in the near $900,000++ range. Bill

Well hear we are, over a year down the road. Still no answer from John Walker or anyone else on the governing board. Yes Jon Walker had a event talking about improvements but I couldn't get in on the format he was using and got no reply from the emails or text I sent. I kind of miss the people posting using profiles created years ago and never used. The first post was to derogate something posted hear. 😅 We wish DB well in his new job. I think the future does lay with the new people getting into the RV life and all those goin full time. Why can people on You tube have nearly 100 people show up just to see their new RV? I did look at one that was in my budget range(and still ran) but they had painted the whole interior in a " Antique white". All that fabulous burled wood ruined. That and the gen set had to many hours. I would seriously look at some of the Fortravel coaches. But till then I will poke along in my little camper. Bill
