  1. I was driving down the road and noticed a neighbor had added some new pets. They must be some ornery critters because I don't ever see pictures where people are using them as domestic draft animals. Bill
  2. I didn't do it because I was overheating. Having run a oil lab in my past I believe in running the best oil to protect my investment. I now am running a K2 Spartan with a ISM Cummins. Bill
  3. I run T-6 well worth the cost. My coach takes 40 Qt + the generator. Those ar 2 1/2 gal jugs. Bill
  4. Help me out hear, You can't get anything to stick or you can't get anything to stick that you can remove without leaving a mark? Bill
  5. So are you building your own super C? Bill
  6. I think it all depends on what the speck is when ordering on the Allison 4000 series. I know Carl has a Allison 4000 series and he has a ISX 600 with 2050 torque. Bill
  7. I have seen them selling a spray on bedliner material for coating the roof. Lots of claims but I didn't like the rough textured finish. But they claim it last "forever". Bill
  8. Well that must make them easy to clean. Welcome to the forum, someone will have an idea. I wonder what is behind the wall that they are worried about drilling/nailing into? Bill
  9. Hrman beat me to it but that is who I would talk to. Call them. Bill
  10. True that would be anouther source of information but Newmar hase to know as they do service at the factory. Bill
  11. I definitely think that Winnebago buying Newmar was a good thing for Newmar owners. Bill
  12. The first thing I would do is contact Newmar and find out what the correct brake fluid is. Then I would do a complete drain/flush/refill with the correct fluid. Bill
  13. Amazon has the Camco version for about $12.00 a pop. Or go to your local home improvement store. Bill
  14. Herman is right. This is why it would be a good idea to get a qualified inspector t look at it. It adds anouther level to catch potential problems. papabee49@hotmail.com There are some outher coaches on that website. You might keep an eye on. https://www.nirvc.com/Sales?start=0&fq=status%3AAvailable and PPL Motorhomes which is a consignment lot, well ok 3 lots. https://www.pplmotorhomes.com/ You can look at floor plans and what things are going for. Bill
  15. Here is something to look at. 2008 Mountain Aire. I bet this one has the 2007 driveline like my coach so no emissions, no exhaust filter or def. https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2008-Newmar-Motorhome-Mountain-Aire-4528-Mountain-Aire-8468470?ref=list I put the Foretravel above the Monaco line. 2007 Foretravel Nimbus 40' https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2007-Foretravel-Motorhome-Nimbus-40-Nimbus-9252076?ref=list 2007 Foretravel Phenix 45' https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2007-Foretravel-Motorhome-Phenix-45-Phenix-8753756?ref=list 2005 Foretravel U295 3820 https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2005-Foretravel-Motorhome-U295-3820-Foretravel-U295-9228449?ref=list Kind of wish this one had been on the market when I was looking. Bill
  16. That is why I recommend hiring a certified inspector to look over any new purchase. He reports to you and will give you his advise on the condition of the coach. Allso the better/higher quality coaches will hold up longer/better. What are you looking for and what is your budget? Bill
  17. Yes I see at least 20 driving days at 300 miles a day. 30 days if you do 200 a day. I don't have to drive over 300 miles a day now. So I recommend to the OP pierrem53 to take the Mass pike ( I-90) West to Oregon. Look at the map and see what you might like to see and plan the non travel days to see them. If you want to do the big loope take I-5 south to I-10 and go East. You didn't say what you were traveling in. I would make a serious effort to find anouther 30 days at least. This such a great opportunity it would be a shame to be rushed. By the way welcome to the forum. I was in Erie last year. My sister still lives there. Any questions just ask. Bill
  18. What exactly are you talking about/trying to say? Bill
  19. What is the voltage on your surge guard on each leg? I bet you have low voltage where you are plugged in. Bill
  20. Go drive some coaches. That is the best way to find out. Definitely try a Newmar with "comfort drive".
  21. So what is this amazing coach? If you had added it to your signature I wouldn't have to ask. Bill
  22. When it does that I would downshift to 5th or 4th gear. I also run Diesel Kleen in every tank. Bill
