Radiator and Charge Air Cooler Cleaning
wildebill308 replied to markletheridge's topic in Type A motorhomes
But I saw someone use it on the internet. Bill -
I went to NM just in case. Bill

Not odd it just means they are authorized by Spartan not that they work for Spartan. One shop can be authorized by several manufactuers at the same time. Bill

Radiator and Charge Air Cooler Cleaning

My last coach had acess through the closet floor but you still could not get good acess because of the fan shroud. The battery compartment was where the air filter was If you took the filter out you could get some acess from the side. Bill -
Carl, I heard you were having a problem with your weight since you got married. Don't you have a bay in that fancy coach just for oil? Actually that was a picture from when/before I picked up my coach. They were going to do the annuel and I requested the T-6. Well they gave me a price of about $36.00 a gal. I said I would supply the oil because I had some leftover Walmart $18.88 gal oil. They did the gennerater to. Bill

So why are you hung up on little coaches with short wheel bases? I have had a 38 ft diesel pusher that drove/rode great. I now have a 45 ft coach that drives and rides great. Bill

The pictures of the bolt/bottom of the slide look like water damage. I would be looking for where it came in and i would think about drilling some 3/16 holes to let any water that got in to drain out. Bill

Your first sentence tells me you are not getting power from your batteries to the battery control center. Start with your meeter and work from the battery's till you find where the power is interrupted. I had a bad connection/cable end. I found the bottom cable on a stack of 3 on the battery was broken and not making contact it was still held by the plastic and didn't seem to move so it wasn't till I took the outher 2 off I found it. You would be surprised how many things require 12 volt power to operate/work. When the engine is running you have power from the alternator. Let me know what you find. Bill

I bet it was with those ubikuis self drilling screws that the industry loves. I would just use a good metal screw, with a little blue (removable) loctite If you can get to the back I would use a machine screw and a nylock nut. Also I wouldn't operate the slide with it off if you can help it.. I think the bolts may be a separate issue. Where in NY? Bill

Picked up some Chinese food on the way to the house tonight. Here is my fortune. How could you not follow the advise of the fortune teller who wrote this. We leave on Monday. Bill

I was driving down the road and noticed a neighbor had added some new pets. They must be some ornery critters because I don't ever see pictures where people are using them as domestic draft animals. Bill

I didn't do it because I was overheating. Having run a oil lab in my past I believe in running the best oil to protect my investment. I now am running a K2 Spartan with a ISM Cummins. Bill

I run T-6 well worth the cost. My coach takes 40 Qt + the generator. Those ar 2 1/2 gal jugs. Bill

Help me out hear, You can't get anything to stick or you can't get anything to stick that you can remove without leaving a mark? Bill -

I think it all depends on what the speck is when ordering on the Allison 4000 series. I know Carl has a Allison 4000 series and he has a ISX 600 with 2050 torque. Bill

What chapter told you that? Bill

I have seen them selling a spray on bedliner material for coating the roof. Lots of claims but I didn't like the rough textured finish. But they claim it last "forever". Bill

Well that must make them easy to clean. Welcome to the forum, someone will have an idea. I wonder what is behind the wall that they are worried about drilling/nailing into? Bill -
I Like the Cummins. Bill
