  1. Most of them say "No Trucks" but I have always found a end diesel pump on a island that was fairly easy to get to and away from. With over 100 pumps The end pumps are never that busey. The diesel/fuel prices are good it is when you go inside it gets expensive. Bill
  2. So does it run at the proper speed now? Bill
  3. A 2005 should have been transyn from the factory. My 2003 was. For more information on your Allison go to this website. https://www.allisontransmission.com/parts-service/my-transmission Bill
  4. P.S. The New Braunfels, Tex. location 68,000 Sq Ft. Wayne, tell your neighbor they are expanding out of Texas. Bill
  5. I would check your power. Make shure the power is on for the 12V power converter. Bill
  6. LOL I can tell Bill has never experienced a Buc-ee's. They work at being the biggest. The New Braunfels, Tex., location is said to be the largest convenience store in the world: 68,000 square feet; 120 fueling positions; 80 fountain dispensers; 27 cash registers; and four Icee machines. It also has 33 urinals and 50 toilet stalls. We have 3 Applejack's in the area. Bill

    Tire PSI

Good, now you have some good information to base your tire preshure on. Something to think about. When I don't have a corner weight and am working on using the whole axl weight. I use 60/40 to determine the air preshure not 50/50. This gives you a little cushion incase it isn't perfectly equally loaded. Yours might be but I know mine isn't. Bill
  8. Yes that liquor store at the state line is like the "Buc-ee's" of liquor stores. https://buc-ees.com/ Well it probably isn't as big as a Buc-ee's. Bill
  9. Welcome to the forum. See if this is of any help. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f101/one-lucky-fix-a-and-e-oasis-electric-entry-door-awning-for-30-cents-model-974-a-349014.html Bill
  10. Mike I am with you. So far on my 2008 MADP my "whatever it is coating" looks ok. I think it has been replaced not to long ago. I plan on wiping it down with 303 to keep it that way. I passed on a coach that looked like the one in Urban Hermit's post. I just didn't want to deal with it. I think it is an unnecessary add on/profit center for the dealers like stain fighter for the upholstery. My last coach had over 125,000 miles on it and no noticeable damage to the front cap. Yes there was some minor stuff down under the bottom edge but you couldn't see it unless you were under the coach. If this stuff goes bad I will not replace it. Bill
  11. I like throwing darts with my eyes closed, outer people in the room not so much. joaowens, if you add your coach info to your signature it will help you get better answers. In the meantime check all the connections to the shades. Bill
  12. When I was looking I did see a couple of 40' Foretravels with tags. This should be the perfect coach for the OP. https://www.motorhomesoftexas.com/Pre-owned-Inventory-2007-Foretravel-Motorhome-Nimbus-40-340-Nimbus-9252076?ref=list I am wondering what a Cat 425/455 horses and 1200 foot pounds of torque is? Is that the different power levels it came in? My curent Cummins is 450 HP and 1550 Foot Pounds of torque. Bill
  13. sdgarfield, welcome to the forum. You said "I live in the northeast but will be making regular trips to bay area in California, and Phoenix AZ." Where in the NE? Just curious as I am in the NE most every year and I think some of the nastiest hills are up in that part of the world I think up in the White Mountain area and around Newry if you get off US-2 they just paved the mountingoat pathess. I have done all the "big" pases in the west to. all with a 38ft 300HP coach. I never had a problem getting over any of them. The biggest problem on maney of these places/passes is the traffic. You may have the HP to fly over them but if traffic is doing 30 you might as well just enjoy the scenery. The outhe big thing most who are concerned about not being able to fly over the top is you need to slow down for the decent on the outher side. Several of the passes out west require trucks to slow to 30 before starting down. So where is the benefit of flying over the top at 65-70+ then you have to jump on the breaks and engine brake to slow down for the descent? Bottom line I don't know of a diesel coach that won't go anywhere you want to go. Bill
  14. Wild guess but I think he is talking about the Battery Control Center. Many of the problems are from not having adequate 12 Volt power to operate the controls/circuit boards. Op may have damage some stuff with the batteries hooked up backward. Bill
  15. Yes each sow can have 10 piglets twice a year. Had some guys that worked with me had a great part time business. They were trapping wild hogs and selling them at the livestock auction. They weren't getting top dollar but it was low overhead. Bill
  16. Yes it is to bad about this year. Just a thought, there will be a Rally at Buckhorn RV resort -Kerrville Tex. Dec. 3-5. Put on by The Lonestar Chapter. There will be one September 24 - 26, 2020 at Choctaw KOA - Durant, OK Put on by The Lonestar Chapter. Same place November 12 - 15 by The Red River Rovers. Note we were there in June and it is a great campground. I am shure there will be more suggestions. Ask Carl about the Cruisin Cajuns (I think that is there name) Bill
  17. I ran Continental load range H on my last coach and it called for load range G. I did not notice any problem with ride. Like Richard said go weigh your coach and use the manufactuers weight/ inflation table for your air preshure. Bill
  18. What Rv do you have? If you add it to your signature it saves having to ask. Keep in mind the list Hermon posted are spread out. What do you want to see and do? Not far from you is the Watkins Glen area with several interesting things to see. Like Montour Falls is a village With a waterfall at the end of West Main Street. Or Watkins Glen State park https://parks.ny.gov/parks/142/ Or The Corning Museum of Glass, https://home.cmog.org/ Going south towards LI is Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt National Historic Site, https://www.nps.gov/hofr/index.htm When in the area we stopped for lunch at the CIA. That is The Culinary Institute of America where they train some of the best chefs in the world. https://www.ciachef.edu/?utm_source=gmb&utm_medium=organic If you haven't been to the falls in a while it is always fun. If you need more just ask Bill
  19. Herman o you have a head count on how many you expect yet? Bill
  20. Vote early Texas voters can also vote before Election Day. The early voting period runs from Tuesday, October 13, 2020 to Friday, October 30, 2020, but dates and hours may vary based on where you live. Forms must be current or expired less than four years. For voters aged 70 or older, the acceptable form of photo identification may be expired for any length of time if the identification is otherwise valid. Seams simple you can go any time the polls are open and you can go when there a no crowdes. Bill
  21. OK take some more pictures. Show me the cable going to a ground on the frame. Bill
  22. We had a good time there with the Red River Rovers a while ago. I think more states should have early voting like Texas. If you have mobility issues you can even vote from the curb. You are right Carl this virus is smarter than Santa Claus. If you have been rioting and looting with strangers you are ok but don't go vote or go to church because you are going to get it. Bill
