  1. Do not know anything about this company, but a Google search revealed this. http://www.atwoodmobile.com/doors-windows/doors.asp Good luck shopping!
  2. Testing also, before could not even post with ie11, much less copy paste.<br />This is created in ms word 2007.<br />Seems to work now.
  3. I use the Winegard Answer, it very easy to set up, but takes up a little more room than the carryout. I use a dvr in the mh, and hook up two coax's on my direct tv. The Answer does favor dish network, as it will track their signal first.
  4. Is it possible to bypass the breaker with a 5 amp fused link directly to the fan? Low and medium speeds us step down resistors to reduce the speed of the motor, high is direct, and sounds like just too much load for the breaker. Not saying the breaker may be weakened because of age, but it is possible. I would not increase with a larger one.
  5. Think it's time to talk to an electrician about an alternate way to run AC at campground, or some of the other appliances. Could be simple to run a heavy duty extension cord to some of those, and plug into the 20 amp plugin at the campground to take some of the load away from the 30 amp breaker. Also look inside the door of the fridge and check for amp draw, many house type easily pull 10 to 12 amps, and surprisingly the smaller units are usually less efficient than the larger ones. Good luck hunting.
  6. Yes sometimes we do meet those ingrates in society. I have ran into some rv'rs with the goose egg attached, and many without the egg. Sorry for the unfortunate experience.
  7. You could use a 110 volt fixture but campers are normally 12 volt dc. If you use 110, unless you plug into an inverted outlet, or are running on generator, the light will not be there when not on shore power. Actually if you don't need a lot light, one of the hockey puck style lights that work on 3 AA batteries work very well and do not require any wiring. I have several of these in my coach and use them often. The batteries last 6 to 12 months depending on use.
  8. A bad, or not working reversing valve can cause this to happen on a heat pump, assuming the air conditioning part is working and getting cool correctly. If A/C doesn't work correctly, the heat side of a heat pump can't either. Assuming that it has worked correctly in the past, then suddenly started this. If it has never worked correctly, could be wired incorrectly, and yes, could be an outside temp sensor not working correctly.
  9. Take a look at this link if you have not already. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t567090-can_a_rodeo_be_flat_towed_behind_an_rv_.html
  10. Don't know where it was, but the salt air mixed with the "no humidity", will corrode a glass window. LOL
  11. Tom your reference to RV Electric, is very informative and should be included in all RV manuals, thanks!
  12. In addition to mrboyer's comments, you indicated the (coach breaker) tripped. Did you perhaps mean the campground breaker, or is it really one inside the coach? If the one inside the coach that is tripping, then the circuits inside the coach are wrong. Each ac unit should be on an individual breaker.
  13. Actually wavelength at 60 Hz is closer to 3030 miles. Sorry to have offended you.
  14. Like Brett suggested, rivets are the best way to go if possible. I use stainless steel on the outside, and Sikaflex elastameric sealant is what airplane manufacturers and truck trailer skins are put on with. It is paintable and unlike silicone sealant will not oxidize the rivet or screw over time.
  15. 245/75 22.5 is a slightly wider tire, 245 mm vs 235 mm. 80 and 75 indicate the tire height, which is the percentage of height of the width. The actual height should be the same between the two tires. I personally would not interchange the two different sizes on the same axel, especially on the drive axel, mainly because of the wear difference.
  16. Just a thought, tub refinishers use an epoxy coating, can be clear, or any color. My sister had corian in her home, and used a refinisher to change color, and the results were good for her.
  17. Forgot to mention, good practice is to walk around the coach everytime it is cranked, before moving. Just an old habit for some.
  18. Wish we could teach those stupid things to get out of the way, LOL. Glad no major damage.
  19. When you change to a house type fridge, while shopping be sure to compare the maximum amp draw on the spec label inside the fridge door. The less the draw, the longer you can run on battery battery backup/inverter. Also the Samsung brand will work on msw inverter just fine. I purchased mine at Lowes, so shop around.
  20. Would be interesting to know how close to the coach the gfi breaker is that is tripping. The longer the run to the coach, the more apt it is that the gfi will trip. It only takes 4 to 6 milliamps difference in amperage between common and neutral to trip a gfci breaker, and the further away the load is from the breaker, the longer it will take for the neutral wire to catch up.
  21. Trucks like my bus have a much larger opening for filling than most motorhomes, and foam does tend to accumalate in the fill pipe of the motorhome. Most truck stops have a fill island for motorhomes that have pumps like standard car pumps, that fill at a much slower rate.
  22. I have passed Sherman RV, and it is quite large, though it is not in Sherman Mississippi. It is very close to Tupelo, and about 50 miles from Tiffin factory, located in RedBay Alabama. I of course do not know about any sales experience from them, but they probably are located closer to Tiffin than any others.
  23. http://www.walmart.com/ also has several, they will ship to your nearest store for local pickup.
  24. "2 cubic foot top load washer", on search line of ebay brings several magic chef 1.6 and 2.1 and a few others.
