  1. I had to install the filters on my new coach because of CV-19. The small filter to the right is a 1 micro for the small faust at the sink. You notice a shut off valve just below left of the filter. The larger filter to the left is to filter the water coming into the fresh water tank. Never hurt to have the charcoal filter at the beginning of the hose. There is also a filter inside the refrigerator for the icemaker and through the door water.
  2. Refinery, pipeline, fracking stopped, all losing money. Prices will shoot up when back to normal;.
  3. The 450D does have preheat as my coach does. Look at page 6 of the manual. http://www.aquahot.com/files/owners_manual/UseCareGuide450DWeb.pdf
  4. I'll just leave this here, rip https://www.rvtravel.com/gary-944-1/
  5. The process I mention is done by professional with profession equipment and cleaner. I never had a customer regret having it done.
  6. The injectors in the 8.1 may be getting clogged. I have an OTC setup where you disconnect the fuel pump and run 16 oz of highly detergent fuel under air pressure. That will clean the injectors, intake valves and combustion chamber. That will put new life into it.
  7. I was at a FMCA rally in 2014 and Roadmaster inspect all for free. My old obsolete tow bar I had was unrepairable and they gave me $300 towards a new one. Their reason is that they wanted that old obsolete tow bar off the road that had their name on it. I think it was a Eagle 8000 They came and did the swap with to my site in a golf cart.
  8. With new tires the stems should be replaced also.
  9. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I'd go up to a bank teller with a mask on asking for money
  10. Will this work? https://rvexteriorbodypanels.visonerv.com/cgi-bin/md/M240174/s1.pl?
  11. My experience with extended warranty is this. In 2012 I purchase a 2006 HR Ambassador and got a extended warranty that cost 5k through extra ride with $200 deductible. . Two times I used it was was worth it was when the front jack blew and needed to be replaced. That cost 2K and my cost was $200 plus taxes and shop supplied. The next time was the 8000 K generator repair. To remove from the coach and replace inverted and wiring harness and maintenance I told them to do since it was out and covers were off came to $4.5k. I paid less than $1k to cover the extra work. The one time it wasn't worth it was when the alternator went out. Freightliner wrote a book on diagnosis that ran the price way up and the extra ride knew better and refused to pay the extra work. I don't blame them for refusing to pay half of the $800 bill. When I took it to them I tole them to just replace the alternator so it tee me off as well. Their excuse is we have to prove it's bad to the warranty company. The alternator cost $125 and took maybe 2 hours to replace. So there are pros and cons to extended warranty but this time I came out ahead. When that warranty they didn't ask me to renew. I'm not going to mention how much the extended warranty cost on the new coach but I know there are lots of expensive things that can break on it. As for small repairs, do them yourself like when I did the exhaust manifold gasket on the old coach.
  12. Yes, I do electronic banking bill paying through my bank only. Why does TSD want your full SSN?
  13. I have a big problem with their signup page when they want your SSN, bank account and routing number.
  14. Well it's at the dealer until maybe the end of the month. Looks like 3 recalls and my long punch list will take awhile. Afterwards I have to remove a few things in the basement and craw at the rear middle of it with my phone camera. Then I will know for sure what it got for inverters and batteries.
  15. What I need is a deionizer for the rinse when I wash the coach. Yes your tires are taller.
  16. On my new coach I have a pair of 3000 watts pure sine inverters. It also have a pair of solar panels. I don't if the inverters have the charger built in or if it's separate. Does anybody know as house batteries and inverters are deep inside basement behind panels? Yes where are they? LOL I can see two inverter disconnect switches on passenger side basement and on driver side basement there are indicators lights on transfer protection panel.
  17. Yes, it took two bottles, I spray too much.
  18. I'm doing the ceramic wax as dirt comes off with a hose. Only problem is hard water so have to wipe dry.
  19. You may be right about that as must of been a drain of power with 2 inverters going full charge. It tried to eat my extension cord.
  20. The K3 chassis compare to the K2 you should have larger tires. My coach have (6) 295/80R 22.5 rear and (2) 315/80R 22.5 front. I think mine is 13 feet high at standard ride height.
  21. I wouldn't ask anybody to run a test for me. I also don't know if we be comparing apples to apples but copied from my coach specs I have L16 AGM batteries (4), (6v/390 amp hrs. ea.). Also have 3,000 watt pure sine wave inverters (2). I have 2 switches to shut them off in storage. There is lots of stuff on I didn't know including basement freezer.
  22. Let talk overnight when the solar won't do squat. When I picked up the coach from the dealer I first plugged in using a extension cord. The connection to the cord was bad and allowed the refrigerator to run down the batteries by the next morning. I plugged the coach cord directly into the garage outlet and that solved that problem. I kept it plugged in to install water filter and test ice maker. I finish the test and shut the fridge off by pressing the off button on the keypad. This shuts off the compressor and ice maker only. The pad stays lit and inside light comes on when opening the door. With all the electronic this coach has, I believe shutting the fridge off overnight will be the best practice when dry camping. As far as auto start generator, there's also quiet time overnight so generator not allowed to run.
  23. I swear @#$%^&*, Once I get the ceramic wax job done I'm taking it to the truck wash for the rest of the year. This coach is so much taller and longer than the one I traded in.
  24. The Norcold worked fine when I traded the 14 year old coach in. The new coach has to have 2 3000 watts inverters, 3 solar panels and 4 large AGM batteries to run a residential refrigerator. The batteries may only last 6 hours dry camping overnight. .
