Depending on the size of your coach you may have to go to a Michelin truck tire dealer. Michelin website has a listing of dealers. After you find a dealer near you call the dealer and let them know what you want to do.

If you go up and across using I-80 be prepare to pay a lot in tolls. Best to stay on I-70 and hit avoid tolls setting on the GPS.

I took the coach to Camping World yesterday and returned to me today. They had ordered and replace the front jack under XtraRide service contract. $200.00 deductible + freight + shop supplies = $350.00 my cost. Total bill was nearly $1,700.00 so I saved by having a contract. XtraRide told service writer for me to send copy of receipt of emergency service in Alabama and they may reimburse me for it. If not I can send it to Good Sam Road side assistance. That bill was only $170.00 but it won't hurt to try.

I don't know about the transfer case but the transmission should be OK in park. Normally the transfer case is in neutral if it self lubricates, check with the manufacturer.

It's hard to judge from your picture. If that is a rubber hose going on to the black pipe it would be best if the rubber hose and clamp go over the ridge so it can't pull off. Don't look like there is much for the hose or clamp to grip on otherwise.

Bizsmith, What did you change the mirror ones with? The lights on my mirror look like they would break if I pried on the lens. My taillights looked the same but they did pry out with no damage. The ones on the mirror are very small. reformatted

If you are in cold weather there is a possibility that the governor is frozen from the cold weather and may free up once the engine gets warm. It easy to remove that governor and clean it in a pinch but always better to replace. It's common for it to get corroded if water gets into it.

If you have air suspension, dump the air from it first because that will throw it off.

Any modification can void warranty if the modification is the cause of the breakdown. Otherwise it is alright to modified to make towing safe. There are other systems out there that uses the coach air pressure and the people that have then love them. Very painless to hook up and disconnect not like a portable system which takes more time and effort. Even with the portable system you have to modified the toad and possible the coach.

I ended up with a repo with low mileage as my dealer brought it at a auction. You never believe what was broken as maybe it was lived in before it got pull out from the owner by their bank. I only found out after I did a title search which I paid for that didn't go far back enough or give the real story. Lucky for me I had the dealer fix 75 percent of the problems. Desertdeals69 There was a few things missing from my coach, icemaker, vacuum hose, caps for lug nuts, one cargo door handle one zone temperature sensor and pump for air mattress. Lucky for me I caught it before I signed the deal. None of the filters was changed at 19,000 miles except the oil filter and told the dealer to change them all as part of the deal. Just recently I found the dealer missed two of them, the fuel water separator and the air dryer for the air brakes and suspension. It would be best to have third party inspect if you buy from a bank.

I had a 93 Southwind that had 3 amber marker light, one midships and one the side front bumper and one on the side mounted mirrors. It also had a red marker on the side of the rear bumper. The 3 amber side marker lights flashed with the turn signals the red marker did not. They were old and sometimes didn't work because of dirt and corrosion and not many drivers paid much attention to them. I changed markers to LED except for the mirrors and it seems like more drivers paid attention to them. The coach I have now has 2 markers. An amber LED that's on front of the rear fender skirt that doesn't flash and a amber bulb on the front mounted mirrors that only flash with turn signals. There is no surprise that drivers don't pay much attention to the small amber bulb on the front mounted mirror. It will be a good idea to have a flashing LED marker to the front of the front fender skirt. I would like it to be shielded from the camera so it don't cause a glare in it. I'm thinking something like a 3 wire marker turn signal light.

Sounds like something else I can add to my modified list. I think mine and others don't have it because of the side cameras. Better to see a car than a flashing light on the screen. Let us know what you come up with.

At Memphis we stayed at Graceland RV Park at a reasonable rate. You can walk to Graceland sites from there if you want to see it.

Maybe since it's just the front, sides and rear top only maybe you can sand and paint yourself. Just get a body shop to mix some paint for you. I already hit my roof with some spray clear coat and seems to be slowing the process down but I know it won't last.

On my Jeep Liberty I used a furniture moving cover from Harbor Freight over the windshield and closed both front doors on it to hold it in place. It worked great, not only did it protect the windshield from chips, it kept it clean. In fact when running from NE storms the rest of the Jeep got filthy including the side windows and mirrors that I couldn't see out of but the windshield was fine. That will be my tip for the month.

I checked ferry from Washington to Homer, AK and it was 8K one way. I drove it last summer and not a very pleasant drive as the worst roads are in the Yukon. If I had to do it again, I would fly into Anchorage and rent an RV.

I have XtraRide and they been good to me so far as I used them twice and they paid. My coach is going in to Camping World of Burlington, WA Tuesday for same reason as Jack except mine has $200 deductible and freight. They may cover the road service to get the gear up if I submit it as part of the claim. If not I have Good Sam roadside assistance to send it to. Would of been there last Tuesday but I refused to drive it in the rain after cleaning it up.

Herman, I believe it's cheaper and better to convert to residential refrigerator. I know that what I will do when mine bite the dust which I hope isn't too soon. The trick is getting the old one out and the new one in.

I not sure what lines my coach is equipped with but I had a freeze of the basement month-half ago in Twin Falls, ID at 8 F because basement heater failed. The Markings on is 160 psi burst @ 73.4 F 100 psi @ 180 F and is a clear white tint with brass fittings. It had no damage and was thawed out as we got near Las Vegas, NV.

Some have signs posted that states "no overnight parking". There is a reason that location don't want overnight parking there so best no to ask and move on for respect. We have one in Bellingham, WA right across the street from a campground that would be conflicting against that campground if they allow it. That's being a good neighbor.
