  1. schoonmakerjon. Welcome to the Forum! Are you looking to get a 40 foot or 45 foot? No slide out or up to 2? Remodeling a Prevost is not an easy task, so it will cost more than a "cookie cutter" coach like mine. I would recommend you to call Marathon, Liberty, Featherlight, etc and ask them! Lot's of electronics, plumbing, etc that we don't have. Care & feeding of a Prevost is not cheap!
  2. DB, Ray. Yeah, did the full ceremonial thing...got the sausage, shot of Screech Rum (wish they served it after) & kissed the Cod. Played the big stick and danced, got our certificate! Also, appearance by Mummer's.
  3. A 30 amp plug will give you 27 amp usable. Is your coach all electric? Residential fridge or Norcold? How many batteries do you have and are they AGM or Acid?
  4. On Linda's Phaeton it blows cool air into battery & Inverter bay when AC is on & heat into water & dump bay, when heater is on! We think the original owner did it.
  5. The only problem I had with either engine, was warping of the right side manifold at the attachment point to engine! A pre FI 454 caught fire once, foamed it down, Chevy replaced any item that was burned and could burn, got new manifold...Free! Wife got new coach 2 weeks later, let me know by phone, the call cost was outrageous...I was in Columbia!
  6. BF Goodrich, 8 new in June, on 45', 2/3 cost of Michelin, built by Michelin, 315/80/22.5...my August 2014 Michelin's was cracked and not safe, that's less then 5 years! I roll 12,000+ miles a year, this year will be over 17,000! BFG, no road noise, smooth ride, carry 110# on all 8. Thanks Joe L. for recommendation!!!
  7. Been there many times. Any Hotel or Resort is safe, go roam around, nice people, rent a cab for 6 hours & see it all...avoid cruise ship days & you'll pay $100 instead of $200 for cab! I kept a 42' Lagoons Cat there for 7 years. Take the Ferry to the other Islands, 30 minutes to 90 minutes...pick up info at any tourist info kiosk! Local drink is Rum, OJ, little cream and dash of Nutmeg...one is enough, unless you need a long nap!
  8. DB. We have found that the wine & beer here, is superior to what I get at home...price is about the same. I can't figure why Ian carries Bud Light. Craft beer is everywhere! Other than Bourbon, the rest is imported to USA via Canada...why bring it back to CA?
  9. To my knowledge the old ISX 600 & 650 was the same engine. Also, the last CC models that came off the assembly line, was after going Bankrupt in early 2007! The CC Veranda came with a 500 or 600, non of the 500's had problems! A friend bought the 500 Veranda for $290k cash, brand new...no warranty! Sold it in 2014 for $395k & bought a CC 2005, 630!
  10. They have a Beaver Dealership in Oregon, & they have all the old parts, dyes etc. On the Web. Also, any Plasma shop can copy what you have in reverse!
  11. I guess now I know, why I have seen more coaches on fire, in the past 2 years, than the previous 53! I wish the OP good luck..
  12. Joe, that's one thing we love about the Resort in Alto, NM...you got to be a goat to cut thru!
  13. We wish you luck! Safe travels...
  14. josh2000. Welcome! You found, what I found 40 years ago!
  15. Ditto the fine cloth! Since I retired & stopped using steel toe boots, I have tender feet...calluses are gone!!!
  16. Nice to know, your still with us! IMHO, I would replace the PS line & whole cable...I just don't trust splices & welds on something that has bit me!
  17. Electric problems don't FIX it's self...before you have a fire..as Ray said.
  18. On the web, under Lippert Jacks, there is an article on how to re-set your computer...it goes against the Lippert re-set info., very easy to understand...I had a stuck Jack. re-set and no problem since. I have Jacks and Air, Auto & Manual...easy to get a fault or twist code, then nothing works, until computer thinks it's level.
  19. TerryD. Welcome to the Forum! First you need to weigh the coach, front, back, with tag, then corner to corner, with full load, including toad or trailer! I carry the same #110 on all 8 tires, 315/80/22.5, tow a Jeep Wrangler 2 door, mine weights 4,190, plus coach=56,300+/- when traveling! I have tried to adjust tag, but found it made no difference in ride...
  20. Johnny. Welcome to the Forum! My coach came with the Pressure Pro and it was entered into the computer system & my camera screen, I have had no problems at all. As Joe said, you can't change the batteries out, but I'm on my second set since 2013...I called them, when my computer told me, to change out...got a new set in three days including box to send my old ones back. My cost was $310 for 12. No, they are not cheap, but they last longer than batteries. What make, model, year coach do you have? Carl
  21. The obvious question first. Have you checked for full hydraulic fluid in tank with all Jacks up? How often do you clean each shaft, with jacks extended? Have you called Lippert Tech?

    Ignition Problem

Have you given a call to Tiffin Tech? They may have it in stock or have an alternative!
  23. Ray. Could be the charger, but I don't buy into a bullet proof battery! IMHO, you have one or more dead cells.

    Bad turbo

Never "assume" anything! It makes an ***-u-me.
