  1. We looked at a 2006, with a CAT 625 & ZF 10 speed. A 2005, with a Cummings ISL 500 & Allison 4000. A 2003, with a DD 500 & Allison 4000. A 2012, with a Cummings 600 & Allison 4000! All, have a wall between back of DChair & Slide out...neither Linda or I could fit & drive in them!
  2. Ian. Pioneer RV Resort, has been mostly re built since Hurricane Harvey blew it away. By next winter, everything will be back to normal. Have been to the old one, many times for Rally's and your just behind the dunes from beach! Everyone has their own opinion's on RV Parks/Resorts...try one, try 2. 3. You'll find the one that the 2 of you think about each year!
  3. I have not written about a bad, greedy, dealer before and hope I never run across an other! Linda & I went to Motorhomes of Texas today, we had an appointment to look at a coach, that we hoped would fit our life style, a used Newell 45'! No fault of the dealer, that it's only for short people...if your over 5' 6", forget it. You can't get in driver seat, I tried and my knees was above the steering wheel. So we looked at other coaches and found a 2014 Mountain Air 45', by Newmar that we both liked.... Then the joke, I know what options I have in my coach and I just put on a new RV Armor roof...I know NADA Low/High wholesale value & the same for retail, as of January 2019. The Owner came back with a $125,000 value for a coach without any options, refused to go inside my coach, cause he new better! Then he upped the sales price of the unit we where buying by $20,000...said it had the wrong sticker on it. I will not set foot in Motorhomes of Texas, ever again!
  4. Your right..there's more coming! Makes one realize, the Ice Age, is still retreating...one foot forward, 2 back!
  5. Byron, little early to be there now! Not to mention cold, deep snow... Richard, where you live, is not a place that a sane man would spend winter! Ugh..
  6. Probably cold enough, to make B Clinton's Cigar, a nub! We got the furnace on...39 in am...again!
  7. Ray. If your switch is part of the control panel, then it's behind the panel. I have 2 switches, but only one ground.
  8. Since there are 4 different lengths and floor plans, it would really help to know what yours is. Due to the awning and compartments, on the passenger side, your only choice would be on the driver side, unless you have the full wall slide. Then you only have the rear to work with! Until we know what you got....
  9. Byron, don't forget the "Indian Paint Brush's"...they to are LB.
  10. We have had mid 70 days and low 70 nights X2, Current is 71 & dropping back to 46 in AM...TS every day/night for more than a week...I'm growing web feet & feathers!!! Quack, Quack! We are in Rayne, LA.
  11. It's Mardi Grass, until Ash Wed. March 7...
  12. South Plains Cummings, off Loop 610 East Houston is great. Wayne, I know that area well...you picked a fun time/place to park! I lost my low coolant sensor in Ruidoso, NM and drove it to Dolores, CO., then to Perry, GA., I disconnected it in CO. REV sent a new one and I connected it in Perry....there's a Post on it here, between me and Brett mostly!
  13. Joe. The TA issue was 2002, 3, & 4. An example: 70% off everything on my 2010 coach, is from 2004, 5, & 6 ! No longer available. Chassis is 2009, but leveling system is 2006. Awnings are Girrard elect. 2004. etc.
  14. Joe. Does that mean, they used the leftover chassis from 2002 to 2007 in their 2009 to 2014 units? Along with the "Trailing arm issues?
  15. Brett, that link is priceless for anyone with a R4 or RR4. Even if you have the good one, there is a full explanation of what you need.
  16. Wonder if OP got the job done? I have nothing more to contribute!
  17. Wayne, Was that in the old coach? In your "new" coach or mine, due to weight and length, just any tow truck, will not do! I'm covered for, up to 100 mile tow, for my coach, by State Farm, on my policy! I asked if that was by Heavy Duty tow truck & can I have that in writing? I got it.
  18. Next time you crawl under, block your wheels! For safety sake.
  19. And you was around 300#, that would have been a sight to see!
  20. You are correct & WB has a disclaimer...carry weight is not based on Volume of compartments. 102 cu. ft.
  21. Ian. Wayne pretty much covered it. Wayne, how them Mosquitoes doing in the Pond area? We will be on Island Monday, for 2 weeks!
  22. Herman. The compartment runs the width of the coach in rear, under the bed & he's towing a 3000# car...Long way from drive axle to rear, axle is rated for 9,600#, coach is 22,000# ! 32' 4" !
