  1. Brett, I had the Powerglide on my 2011 Allegro Bus...No, it did not ride like a Alpine! The chassis is built by a family engineering shop in WA. I spoke with them in 2011 and Powerglide is a combination of Liberty, Freightliner and Spartan chassis. Gillig, Peak, Dyna and Roadmaster chassis, was IMHO the top of the line, back then and now!
  2. fpresto. Prevost, Newell and Totters, all with 25' to 35' stacker trailers! All over the US and have never seen one pulled over by LEO's or in an accident. All are 45'+, plus the trailers! My coach has a 45' chassis, but the end cap & front cap, adds another 20 inches + the hitch!
  3. In Coastal Texas, you hit the ball low and straight, since it always is a strong breeze!
  4. I have never heard of a Tiffin on a Roadmaster chassis! Linda has the Freightliner chassis on her 2006 Phaeton 40 DP! I just looked it up, 2006 and 2007 Phaeton, was/is a Freightliner chassis, 350 CAT, Allison 3000.
  5. Yes Kay, but I can't use the pellet in coach, while driving!
  6. We have the IP in the coach, house #1, 2, & 3...used at least once a day! Joe, there is a life beyond wood pellet.
  7. Thanks Wayne, that was interesting read!
  8. You got a lot done in a short period of time, the landscaping made a huge difference! Job well done! Where in MF is the Lone Star Luau? You in RV or just Jeep?
  9. We'll be there in beginning of August, NS is our end of Tour!
  10. Astoria, OR. to Ventura, CA., in my 45' with the Jeep Wrangler. I had my RV Parks lined up ahead of time!
  11. Steve, he got it resolved. Direct TV is sending him a new receiver! I had DISH about 3 years ago...don't try to end your relationship with them by yourself...It took my attorney over a month!
  12. We love a fast, quick result..enjoy the warmth!
  13. 6 days? I thought you meant August.
  14. Steve, that was my first thought also! Squinko. Are you getting 100% on Generator?
  15. Eric. Mowing right along and looking good. Just one small question...Where is the water and Sewage? Wayne. His DW is a sweetheart ! Raised my BP..
  16. grboyer. Welcome to the Forum! There are 2, that I like up there. Check out Circle B on Hwy 70 in Ruidoso Downs and The Motor Coach Ranch on NM220 in Alto! They are both on web.
  17. Happy wife, happy life! I had the 2500 & Duramax in a Chevy 2500 PU 4x4..great combo, but a 40' coach? I think not. Linda has the 350 CAT/3000 in her 40' DP and it's a OK combo. For long 5-6 degree hills, she would like more than 800# torque! Mine is 425hp at 1250...for 45', I would have preferred the 500.
  18. Hope he got some honey! Up to you Herman! IMHO, It should be left open, until all of Ray's electrical problems have been tracked down...since it started with batteries replacement.
  19. A bull rider, just got thrown off & trampled to death, in Las Vegas, NV...yesterday or night before! Not a game. After the Ft. Worth Rodeo, it's the Houston, BBQ Cook Off, Livestock Show & Rodeo!
  20. On a post here, probably about 3 years ago, I believe it was mentioned that Michelin did a tire run each March.
  21. That depends on what your fishing for. Fresh or salt, deep water fish or Flounder. Fly fishing, light or heavy tackle. Live bait, artificial or cheese!

    Firestone FS561

One problem is that in 1974, we did not have the tires of today on a coach. Radial and belted tires was on cars, but not RV's.
