  1. Couple of years ago, it was featured in FMCA Magazine...included the photos of the original/restoration process.
  2. TireMinder A1A....came with coach & is compatible with SilverLeaf computer....nothing extra to install.
  3. Since we don't know where your at. I use Precision Alignment in Austin, TX for Jeep and Freightliner, San Antonio, TX. for coach. I have a Spartan K2 chassis! 4850 pounds, per Spec. Does not leave any room for storage in truck or bed.
  4. pepperparm. Welcome to the Forum! There is a "Salesman Switch" by the door. Mine is toggle, some are touch pad....it has no name by it just separate from the other on/off's! Have you tried, disconnecting from shore power and run Generator? There is also a reset CB on your inverter/inverters! House batteries, how old? AGM or Acid, if acid then check water level. Look at batteries for corrosion and check tightness, loose ground wire! Run a amp meter on each battery...should be 12.6 or 6.3 if 6v.
  5. Last I heard from OP was Thursday, via PM. She was having the harness kit installed. Unless they have another issue, I suspect it's the last we will hear from them! The name of their firm, is after her name...Goggle it. It's beyond my pay grade!
  6. I-10 in Miss, AL & FL, have a lot of them, especially FL..With the new Federal Regulations, on OTR Trucks, States are scrambling to put in "Truck only rest stop's"! IMHO, I suspect that "Free Dump for RV's", will become "Paid Dump"! State's have to re cope somehow and there are more RV's on the road today, than 20 years ago! LA. has 3 welcome centers that I know is open, the one on I-10 E was in construction mode again, April. 😡
  7. Bill. As the temperature drops, the LED's use less energy to produce the same amount of light. Normal light bulbs is the direct opposite, therefore they explode, under extreme weather conditions, led don't.
  8. As Brett said, what do you have? Also, coach or ? All the above! I'm currently wanting to buy a coach & the dealer will sell mine and Linda's as a consignment, I still have to pay for the new coach. Yes, they do charge to sell ours...
  9. bm. good thought, but LED headlights are all over Europe & they don't freeze! Wonder why? They even use them, a lot of them, on the Snow Cats in Antarctica!
  10. Richard, I would go with Herman. Just omit the Vodka...Unless it's Everclear or pure Shine, it will freeze!
  11. As Joe L. has said on numerous occasions, very hard to find a "professional Tech" today!
  12. Turn off the invisibrake, then on...worked on my Colorado! I changed to M&G.
  13. Richard. Unless I'm way off base, the chassis on his coach is a Roadmaster! REV Tech is the only link. I agree with all the rest.
  14. Seems to work better on the earlier models. Personally, I would trade the Cherokee in, for a 2 or 4 door Wrangler and be done with it..
  15. I'll put it back on Topic. Have been PM'g the OP & it's a Jeep Cherokee, she is having the "fix it kit" installed today! That should take care of it. Note: My Roadmaster is no longer a ball hitch! When I take off in coach, it locks, with a solid clunk, that I can feel & see!
  16. Kay, blowouts are never any fun! I take it, that there was no damage to your metal coach? I had your type of Roadmaster, up until 2008 and never experienced that.
  17. Scroll to top of this page and enter ISX in search box.
  18. Mike, I have towed 3 Jeep Wranglers, well over 150,000 miles, behind 3 DP coaches, in the past 12 years! Never have I had a "Wobble", of any kind! I have also towed Toyota Tundra 4x4, Colorado 4x4, Silverado Duramax 4x4 and Izuzu Troper II 4x4 , over the past 33 years!
  19. The 5000 pound rating is based on your axle...not suspension!
  20. Whether you have one or more house, fresh water filters, you'll find that in your owners manual. I pour in a quart of HP 3% in summer, in my water hose, connect to fresh water & briefly turn on, then off and let it sit for 15 minutes...then turn on water & open my faucets in coach, run for a couple of minutes, let sit for 10 minutes & use! Since you can use HP 3% as a mouth wash, it will not hurt you!
  21. Patrick. Welcome to the FMCA & the Forum! Your tail (Truck), is wagging the dog (RV)! 20 years ago, I was into Blue Water racing (American Power Boat Assoc.), I had a one ton Ford Explorer and had no problem hauling a 32' Scarab. Then I got a 43 foot Skater, 1/2 the weight, but the length made it impossible to tow, at speed. Got a Cummings RAM, one ton, crew cab...no problem! Hated to sell the 1996 Explorer...one of a kind. Your caught between also. Keep your truck & get a used Jeep Wrangler or Colorado 4x4 or Ford ranger 4x4...that's my recommendation!
  22. Looking forward to more photos!
  23. FIVE. IMHO, 650 to 605. The 600 was before the 650!
  24. Don. We have been thru this before...ZF of Germany, owns TRW.
