    Tire size

greenbarn1. If your thinking about replacing your (if you get the 2018) 275/70R with 295/80R, FORGET about it. Other than that, I see no point in this Post !
  2. Gira. Before you buy anything, you need to find out why your losing water. Sounds to me like you have a bad 6V battery and it's causing the others to cook! I would also look at the setting of your Float Charge...6.4V is normal.
  3. To all Vets. POTUS Trump signed the Bill today. So now, we who need the VA Hospitals, can pick any Hospital we want, and not wait in line any more!!! Thank You, President Trump!
  4. kwright. Welcome. I have taken it both ways. 18 has a few bumps in Hobbs. I run 285 to Artesia, then 82 to 529 to 62 and p/u 18 in Hobbs. I like it a little better than 285, but any roads in that area is going to have a lot off Oil field traffic...24/7/365!
  5. My bad. With a thousand apologies!!! I could and did think it was Wayne. I shall endeavor to do better, in the future, George! Or was that La Vern?
  6. Close enough, lot of roads I want to take from point A to B, but I-35 is not one of them! Same with US 95! Ugh
  7. Albe52. Welcome. Google Gas buddy and you'll find the best price in any State, any area! As Wayne said, you don't have to look for a Truck Stop for fuel. I'm 45' + toad, so not much choice, other than I try to stay away from, FJ, Pilot, T/A and Love's...prices are 10 -20 cents higher per gallon, then you get your, "feel good discount", and still pay more, than the Mom & Pop place down the road ! I also stay away now, from Shell, since they only take debit card and cash! I have a 150 gallon fuel tank.
  8. firststring. The last time that I was in that area, I came out of Barstow to Mojave and took 395 all the way to Susanville, then took 36 to Red Bluff and I-5N. I have a 45 foot and had no problems any where! I can remember, 99 when I worked in the Bakersfield Oil Field, USNAVY Oil Reserve. That was in 1978 and 99 was a bad road then! I would think that if you live and play in CA., you would know, every road in the State.
  9. That should make DW happy! Until she realizes that the mirror was kind of nice, or she comes with another oval mirror...wait for it Joe, something is coming!
  10. firststring. Welcome. Where is home? Also, what make, model and length of your coach?
  11. TT. Bottom line is, the sidewalls, will show cracks and spider webs, long before the tread wear show. Most all of us will change out all or some after 5-7 years! Therefor a 10 year warranty to me = zip!
  12. Roland. 83 to 44 to 281 to I-2 in Edinburg, then East to Harlingen! It's all good roads. Bill. I-35 goes to Laredo...Not I-2 ! I-35 also goes to San Antonio and then all the way to CANADA!
  13. Joe. Our coach shed (end of year garage) for both rig's are cement, covered by a thick layer of epoxy, works the same as rubber...we have never "Covered" the tires! Linda in 36 years and 5 rigs, me in 51 years and 17 rigs! Tires are changed out in 6-7 years, weather you cover or not! Never even knew about covers, until early 1990..
  14. Interesting to note, we spend as much or more on our "Rolling Earthquake", than we do on our house! Yet, we balk at paying for a garage to store our toy and keep it out of harms way!!
  15. Both of you. Don't hold your breath! Back to Back is unusual, bet there's more to come! Keep watching for Low Pressure in Oklahoma & Texas, that's suppose to be here Sat/Sunday!
  16. rmlaffin. Welcome to the Forum! Nice. But, your in a CC with electric h/u, so how often and for how long at a time do you Dry Camp?
  17. It can get confusing at times, when you just skim over a OP....Been there!
  18. Sam. Due in part to the size of your tires and weight of your coach, use whatever you feel comfortable with! My next set, will probably be Goodrich with the beads for balance! My SO, Linda has a 2006 Phaeton 40 and she is putting on 6 Continentals next year!
  19. Do believe so, they was very popular toads! If you Google 2001 Saturn, you might be able to find a owners manual.
  20. wayneroe. Welcome. You do know, the last answer to this post is 2 years ago? Can not remember hearing back from OP since!
  21. rk. Hope that was not caused by a post. I had a little accident in October, 2016 & TCC took care of my rear end cap on passenger side, also replaced a bay door...great work! Rate per hour is $75 to $85. They also do Custom Coach conversion on Prevost shells or re model an older one! My SO Linda is bringing in her coach the 19th for rear cap & paint, she backed into a metal post on the ranch road...She put it there 26 years ago! Insurance job. TCC does all my coach needs. I have not used, Herman's recommendation, but have seen their work and it's also a excellent shop!
  22. Follow a hydraulic line and you will find the Pump and Tank. On my 2011 AB 37, it was in a compartment on driver side rear, almost by the engine, the tank held 6 gallons and is square. If you still cant locate it, then give a call to Tiffin in Red Bay and ask for Tech Dept.
  23. Your coach is built to do that...stand up to the elements....If your property is big enough, I would Google...Ranch portable enclosures. They cover you, like a car port, made out off very durable material and since they are portable it's not taxed as a home improvement.
