  1. rhpears. Just let the Park that you chose, when making the reservation, know that you will be on a cruise! When you arrive, let them know again...also, do not leave your sever hose out and turn off water at spigot, before you leave for ship! I always take a cab to ship, lot cheaper than leaving a toad in a lot at cruise terminal...they also have a special lane for entry and exit. Saves you a lot of sit time! I have sailed out of Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, about 40+ times, in the past 6 years...mostly RCCL or RCI.
  2. I have seen plenty of rigs parked in the lots of Galveston...problem is keeping batteries/inverter going. Yes, you can set up the generator to start automatically...cost of a campground is cheaper and more secure!
  3. Trip advisor, rvpark review, Branson Chamber of Commerce, KOA and Pass port America!
  4. Roland, I'll ask again. Where are you going to be on 90? From point A to ?
  5. Haidenger. Interesting! In all my years as a member of FMCA, I never gave it a thought. I just presumed that what I got (not much), Canada got, in Canada! Have you contacted and asked FMCA Member Services? Thank you for the Post. Carl C.
  6. TT. Tried Link, all I got from Google, was page not found. I did get a whole screen infomercial about a "Salty Pretzel"!
  7. There are RV parks in Hollywood, in conjunction with the air boat rides & Everglades...google it. January is a long time away! Do you have a toad and what kind of RV? Welcome to the Forum!
  8. REDFISH4U. Welcome to the Forum! That makes 2 of us...I have also, never been there and we are going up after the FMCA National Rally, in Gillette, WY. We plan on being there by the end of August. Got to go to Bend, OR. First...family! Where are you from? I go after Redfish quite often in Texas!
  9. mistert. Welcome to an old, but useful post. Mine with Texas Tax, round numbers $400 each, I got 4...No, I don't trust the 50A at each house, anymore than I do at a campground. There's even one, hardwired in coach! Lot of $ or overkill? Not when you compare it with re wiring the coach and replacing it's electronic components! Oh, also the other factor, get one that lets you know if you have reverse Polarity, that will make you light up, like a living Christmas tree, as soon as you touch any part of the RV!!! As for KOA, I have never had a problem with them! Funny, how we never heard back from the OP!
  10. TT. Thank You. See, proves my point...I'm one of the ignorant ones!
  11. Ahh, the good old days! Pre high tech and computerized Plasma Cutters in 3D. The USA made tools and goods, that was the envy of the World. Your Grandkids and their kids, will have no clue what we are talking about, by their time, they will have no use for the tools or ability to re build an engine! It will all be Robotics... You might say, no! But who among us, can make and fix a wagon wheel of wood and a metal band? Build a sound and tight log house, from scratch, without the aid of "Modern Tools"?
  12. Joe S. In ref: Length & Cops = primarily, where in the lower 48 you travel. AZ, Nev, NM, WY, MT, OK, TX, LA, AL and FL., I have not heard of any complaint's! CA, OR, WA, ID and most East Coast states, seem to be questionable ! Good Luck, Keep in touch and above all enjoy! Carl C.
  13. Don Jones. TTricia, at RVillage is looking for you!
  14. djones. Welcome to the Forum! 1. What size RV do you have? If it's a Coach are you towing a car, truck or trailer? 2. You looking for a "Resort" or regular RV park?
  15. JH. Welcome to the Forum! Your correct! Problem is, most folks don't have a clue, witch Department handles what? So, it's all lumped under one terminology! That still does not mean that they are wrong either! One License would be nice, but there are 50 States and each one has their own agenda, that's the way it's set up & it's not likely to change anytime soon! TT, I have no idea what you just wrote, it's meaning or who is "Zinke" ?
  16. RobLong. Welcome to the Forum! You only have one AH and a fan to each zone, if your on the Furnace side...? What switch are you asking about? I have 2 rocker switches, 1 for electric and 1 for diesel.
  17. Roland. Where on 90 are you? We don't have a shortage of trucks or truck stops, in Texas! As long as your not brand oriented, their out there...any Strip's, Beaver, Valero and most regular gas stations, will have 2 or more diesel pumps in back or on side of building! Look for parked gravel haulers or oil trucks! Carl C.

    Engine Muffler

Leroy. You should get an answer today, if D&L dug themselves out of the frozen NE ! They should be in Perry, GA., send him another PM, he might not have gotten the first one, due to weather! Carl
  19. Joe S. and Keon. Good for you! Safety first and foremost.
  20. Linda & I played golf today, with a friend...69/sun/no wind/26% humidity! It felt good to shot a 45/47, since it was the first time to play in 11 months! We have 50% chance of rain, Sat & Sun, but it's suppose to be 72....I can handle that..
  21. OMG ! Do you have a Tarp on the coach?
  22. I had a 2001, Toyota Tundra 4x4, same sequence as the Silverado! I know, Toyota? Silverado? Same engine & transmission!
  23. Look in owners manual...follow all steps, there are no short cuts! Why 5 OP's?
  24. Kay. Also, the river has a gravely, sandy bottom! We have mud/silt...that's why they stink!
