  1. Rich. It's a 2009 Coachman Cross Country, with a Attwood furnace...info on lower part of page 1, this thread. Carl
  2. Lyle. Since the last one I had is 30+ years ago, I suspect a lot of things have changed. Today, in a DP, what is the length of warranty on the engine, chassis, transmission, and all the other non Newmar equipment? Then what does Newmar cover? I got my last one on a 4 year old coach, that I bought used, with no service records available! Carl
  3. Richard. I did not think Military, my bad. There is a large base just south of the I-40 loop in OKC.
  4. Have you looked for a Freightliner or Cummins Custom Care facility? Give a call to Newell Coach, Miami, OK. They might know who can help you!
  5. Look at any post under towing for the past 6 months...all answer's are there, including several from John Johnson (FMCA)!
  6. Kwikee....they have a toll free number. Last ladder mount's I ordered, I got one and the other came about a month latter! Backlogged after a FMCA Rally...they also do orders from GS, Escapees, Masonic, Shriners, Lions, Elks and individual Clubs/Units/Chapters!
  7. That kind of lens, is a snap in. Squeeze it towards opposite side and it should pop out.
  8. Ken. I'm Oil Field Thrash, wit a Petroleum Engineering ticket, in 24 years, I learned a lot about TT's, 5'ers and Trucks. My 3 best friends have 5'ers...they are ranchers, so why buy a coach and a toad...they got some really impressive trucks to haul horses & cattle! We watched a 37' Jayco 5th, pull out this am by a 150 Ford 4x4 gas, not much room between rear end and ground.
  9. Or you can call, 1-800- Newmar, Geez! Jim S. If I as a AC owner, you can also!
  10. See it all the time. Wrong truck for the application! Small SUV hooked up to a overloaded Trailer, or too long a Trailer! Far as I'm concerned, get a "true" one ton and be done with it.
  11. Kay, Joe. Back in the 70's & 80's, we where members of Triple T's., Texas Outlaws and Apollo. The Outlaws and Cruisin Cajuns would caravan in together and park together...we did have a crowd.
  12. I love how everything is set in Jell-O!
  13. Wayne. That's so boring, it works better than counting Sheep! Baaaah!
  14. Forgot, back then, 1980's, we only had one national rally a year!
  15. Joe, your right to a point. Land is not cheap, suburban encroachment and the cost of a big rally, has gone up exponentially along with cost of living and land. Where there used to be a Fair Ground, is now in a lot of cases an enclosed multi sport Coliseum! Yes, the numbers where impressive! Specially when you take into account, 20% less people and no RV attendance other than motorized coaches!
  16. dewduster. Welcome to the Forum! LaPalma....what year?
  17. TT. If your thoughts are on a FMCA National or Area FMCA Sanctioned Rally. You then need a lot more to offer than just a "great fishing spot"! Where do you plan on parking 400 to 4,000 RV's? You could join a local Chapter, I suspect they would have places that would welcome a small rally of 15-30 RV's and also offer a rally room! Carl
  18. Wayne. Linda has the same as you, but hers is with National, along with diminishing deductible. Currently $100.
  19. OK, back to OP if we still have one! Google used or new trucks for sale, 4x4. If you know what brand you want, then it's easier. You can also look at the 2018 towable section of the FMCA Digital Magazine, also previous years!
  20. Dan. Like Richard, I went and re read all that the information that you supplied. Have a couple of questions. Do you have the same issue when your on Generator? Have you looked at your Transfer Switch? If you don't have the problem on Generator, I would suspect a bad plug on your shore power cord, or a bad connection.
