  1. Ditto. X2. One thing we can agree upon...it's a STUPID category! Nothing surprises me in FMCA anymore!
  2. I use O'Rielly for my 32". NAPA sent me there last month! Trico.
  3. I also carry a rubber sewer ring! There are a lot of cities, county's and States that don't have the treaded kind, ordinance require a Rubber Donut.
  4. Roland. Huh! You got a DP! I had a 2006 Southwind 32Foot, 3 slides...Could not tow anything over 5,000#...other than that, it was great. Bought it new, sold it 16 months later. No problems of any kind. Today, don't have a clue!
  5. Hello Joe. I have a 100 gal. tank and use a quart every 3 months...I never bother having a full tank but ones a year, for FMCA Summer rally! I also, pour a half quart in my fresh water hose, twice a year, then connect to faucet and run enough in to fill. Mine is on a reel...let set for 10 minutes and then run thru system and let set for 10 minutes. Open all faucets for a minute. I do the same with fresh water system! You can use Commercial grade 10% or 3% HP, does not matter! If you can use it as a mouth wash, it's safe with water! So far, it has worked on 17 Class A's in 51 years. Have not gotten sick yet.
  6. asalvitti. Welcome to the Forum! What part of this great big country are you at? Any big cities near you?
  7. I guess the next thing from the FMCA "Computer Wizards", will be dealing with a mini-self contained (in quarts, not gallons) TT, pulled by a motor cycle!
  8. Rich. It's a 2009 Coachman Cross Country, with a Attwood furnace...info on lower part of page 1, this thread. Carl
  9. Lyle. Since the last one I had is 30+ years ago, I suspect a lot of things have changed. Today, in a DP, what is the length of warranty on the engine, chassis, transmission, and all the other non Newmar equipment? Then what does Newmar cover? I got my last one on a 4 year old coach, that I bought used, with no service records available! Carl
  10. Richard. I did not think Military, my bad. There is a large base just south of the I-40 loop in OKC.
  11. Have you looked for a Freightliner or Cummins Custom Care facility? Give a call to Newell Coach, Miami, OK. They might know who can help you!
  12. Look at any post under towing for the past 6 months...all answer's are there, including several from John Johnson (FMCA)!
  13. Kwikee....they have a toll free number. Last ladder mount's I ordered, I got one and the other came about a month latter! Backlogged after a FMCA Rally...they also do orders from GS, Escapees, Masonic, Shriners, Lions, Elks and individual Clubs/Units/Chapters!
  14. That kind of lens, is a snap in. Squeeze it towards opposite side and it should pop out.
  15. Ken. I'm Oil Field Thrash, wit a Petroleum Engineering ticket, in 24 years, I learned a lot about TT's, 5'ers and Trucks. My 3 best friends have 5'ers...they are ranchers, so why buy a coach and a toad...they got some really impressive trucks to haul horses & cattle! We watched a 37' Jayco 5th, pull out this am by a 150 Ford 4x4 gas, not much room between rear end and ground.
  16. Or you can call, 1-800- Newmar, Geez! Jim S. If I as a AC owner, you can also!
  17. See it all the time. Wrong truck for the application! Small SUV hooked up to a overloaded Trailer, or too long a Trailer! Far as I'm concerned, get a "true" one ton and be done with it.
  18. Kay, Joe. Back in the 70's & 80's, we where members of Triple T's., Texas Outlaws and Apollo. The Outlaws and Cruisin Cajuns would caravan in together and park together...we did have a crowd.
  19. I love how everything is set in Jell-O!
  20. Wayne. That's so boring, it works better than counting Sheep! Baaaah!
  21. I have not logged out in years...IT did it to all of us, when they where jacking with new programs!
  22. Forgot, back then, 1980's, we only had one national rally a year!
