  1. Original shocks, I think they are Bilstein. I'm calling Spartan later today! Up date, had to leave a message!
  2. Yes! 90%+ of RV Parks in Canada is more suited for TT with 30A cords! Most folks we talked to, had a Autoformer!
  3. What part of I-10? Beaumont-to La border? Lake Charles, La. Lafayette to Henderson Bayou? There are a lot of good Interstate and Loop roads in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area!
  4. FL-Roam. Welcome to the Forum! It has been my experience, since 1985 and a lot of different brands, to follow the instructions in the owners manual.
  5. REV did NOT buy Monaco, they sold it to Allied Specialty Vehicles, in 2015 Allied became REV....Allied still is in the commercial business, in 2015 they bought out Thor commercial bus business! Confused yet? In 2002 to 2006 Monaco was alive and well & REV had nothing to do with them! Who ever you talked to is giving you BS info! Navistar bought Holiday Rambler, from Monaco..
  6. Could be a lack of interest. Most people, RV or car, think that Michelin is the "Holly Grail." in tires!
  7. Since all of you are behind the Viair portable, Linda just placed an order....it will be delivered tomorrow! Since we still expect to go to Canada & Alaska this July-Sep...DW also ordered a 30 amp Autoformer (we should have gotten one for the 60 day trip in 2019) to Canada!
  8. When I replace my 8 in 2022, they will be either Hankook or TOYO! 365/80/22.5.
  9. Will your platform hold a king? We also have Sleep number, came with coach! I would go to a bed store and try out several types, we have Serta pillow top at both the Ranch and the camp house and love it....1/2 the cost of Sleep #! Both beds was replaced in 2020.
  10. 90% of electric problems, is a bad ground connection and/or a relay. Did you by chance add LED to head lights, or markers?
  11. We seem to attract them! WHY? HOW?
  12. I'm mostly on in late PM or around 0400! Lots of work to be done on ranch...a lot of broken trees to cut and remove before we leave! The "Polar Vortex" was not nice to us! Then about 3 weeks ago, we had straight line winds....we where not here! Now, the lawn mover broke yesterday, after cutting 2 acres & I got 6 to go! The Bushhog lost a blade last fall & we where not notified! I got to go shopping & we are leaving for Hutchinson, Kansas, Sat morning! Guess that's life.... Bill, did you have 30 mph South winds all day? We'll see you the 14th, then leaving the 15th for Gladewater....We'll be at NIRVC the 22nd to get 8 batteries & serpentine belt. I would like to get new shocks before we leave for summer! When is your awning roller coming in?
  13. We hope to pass thru Canada to Alaska and back, also do a R/T to Norway/Sweden by end of year...rest will be Lower 48!
  14. Do believe it's been covered Herman.
  15. Five. Hankook is not listed, I looked at your link and WBills.
  16. Richard, my gut guess, would be car and pick up!
  17. We have 2 screens, only one that we can clean in the 1/2 bath, the other is on Co pilot side & we cant get to it....door screen is no problem. I do mine like Ian does!
  18. That could be a catch 22! I would definitely call & get it in writing, either way!
  19. You have not replaced lock in 3 years? Thanks for posting!
  20. Richard, Michelin also makes BFG, we used to have Hankook until a couple of months ago, don't know why that stopped. FMCA does not have TOYO's, wish they did, I could save a bundle on NITTO's...made by TOYO!
  21. Before Linda, I used mine....She don't believe in dishwashers at all...home, camp or coach! So now we store all paper plates in it...coach!
  22. That's what we needed most, a real Canadian! Thanks..
  23. Toyo's, Kelly, BFG, Hankook, all great tires! I have only dealt with FMCA Tire Program 1 time, then found that I could have gotten them cheaper and fresher at another tire dealer...Micheline's! Last set I got was from a tire dealer in NJ, I went with 8 BFG's (made by Michelin) and saved over $800 by not getting FMCA involved. The FMCA tire program is good, but not the only game in town! Just depends on the volume of tires, the shop uses, day to day!
  24. Yep! The good & the not so good. In Texas you go to the Clerk/Tax office. DMV is for drivers Lic only! With Covid, its by appointment and ours (small County), is back logged 4-6 months! 🤬
