Ernie, you got my vote! Like the same width better and blends in nicely! Wish Linda would allow me to get rid of the electric heated tile (works in 1/2 of coach, the other half is dead & cold)!

Ditto! International titles can be tricky and costly! Bill of Sale is not a title, you need to get the title! Where are you located and where (State) is the trailer located?

Membership Directory - Is It Here On The Website?
manholt replied to dieseldrinker's topic in Membership/Benefits
MOMCAT. Welcome! I also miss it, been a in, out, in, member since 1967 and even as an "A" member for 8 years, I got the magazine and member, stop/stay, help, annual directory! As stated by Herman, times change and we need to adjust with it. IMHO the membership grew to the point of astronomical cost to maintain the Directory and mail out hard copies to all active F members, L members, C members and A members, each year! WOW! First time I have seen that wood in a coach! Only one time in a house!

If it was mine, I would spend a dime and have it remodeled...cheaper to keep her! LOL You have no Particulate filter or DEF to deal with and that is a big plus!!! Forget REV, plenty off other places to deal with.

Alaska RV Rental/Itinerary/Campgrounds/Activities
manholt replied to gregoryabell@bellsouth.net's question in Destinations/Attractions
Everything in OP's post, indicate that he will be flying in and renting an RV there! I have thought about that before, but never done it....last time there by coach was 1987. I would call Alaska Tourism and get all you can from them! The same big rental companies here, have offices in AK., so go to RV rental on web. We are going on a 60 day, Fantasy Tour to AK this July. Spoke to them last week and its still on, but you got to have the COVID Vaccination to get into Canada. We can just wait and see! The only tour that I know that's cancelled this year, by all 3 operators (SOL, Adventure and Fantasy), was Rocky Point, Mexico this month! -

Ray, I know...Our driveway to the house is 1/3 of a mile uphill and another 300' to the RV garage (have 1/2 a side & 2 doors 16' x 12' to put in), then the drive circles around to house. Linda paid $9k in 2014 for driveway...cost me $17,5k for rest last year! Crust rock & Lime stone in bulk is $19 per yard + installation + rolling! -
bdpalace. Welcome to the Forum! Thank you for your Service and glad you did not, cash in the blank check, we all signed.

Bill, he's not buying! A friend of his is looking for a used coach! The way I read it, his friend had outside financing and dealer was not pleased because the dealer wanted to finance it....I call that "Kick back!"

Get your slab done, the cost of cement is rising and its already expensive. We want to put in cement for the coach at home & at the camp. 30' x 6" x 60' at home=$26,000....camp is 20' x 6" x 45'.....camp can wait, but I want to enclose the whole parking area at home by November! The cementer is a cousin of DW, so we get it at cost. Camp is another general contractor, so way more expensive! -
Bill, I presume he fills his fresh water tank and wants to wash running down the Hwy. We do our laundry that way sometimes. Or do you have to keep it HU on faucet at park with valve open. Both ways work, depending on size of holding tank! If he means anything else, then I'm confused.

Airstreams are in demand, especially the retro with modern day conveniences! I had the 1978 Suburban 4x4, with 454. Great driving machine! Had a Buzzard come thru the front windshield and died in back seat....Insurance totaled it. Stench was unreal. I've had 3 Ford Expeditions, wife has a 2014 (she loves it), they do not hold the road well, including hers!

Very true! If you want a coach in the 38' to 45' bracket. I have friends who have the Allegro Red DP and are very happy. The only thing they added was the Saf-T-Plus! They will be going to Alaska with us this summer and we where together on a Fantasy Tour to the Eastern Canadian Providences for 61 days in 2019. The 3 of them pull Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and had, have no problems.

Yep, water on, just like at home!

Take a water hose and spray the back side of wheels, it will knock off the dirt on your ABS. CC is probably a loss ground.

I have them also, CB & Radio with XM/Sirius for Navigation.

DB. I thought you was a Margarita Coinsure, not a Vino! LOL I read it also, off road. -
dee. Good question. I had a 2010 AC Tradition 45Y, only because I could not justify the difference in cost for bling and electronics! 2014 Heritage was the year before Allied stopped building them and Tradition (Allied is the parent company for REV, before turning over the coach manufacturing to REV in 2015. AC Tradition, Eagle and Heritage was/is a solid built coach, heavy because of the house construction and Spartan chassis. The 2014 Heritage has a ISX600 engine, 1950 torque, 4000 Allison and 12.5 kw generator. Also Silverleaf computer system. Since you live in Centerville, if your considering a coach from MOT in Nacogdoches, I suggest you pay for a independent RV inspector....its worth it.

We have a Weber 200 for coach, small green bottles of gas and has worked since 2010. At the house we have a 48" commercial Weber electric kettle, it will go to 1,200 degrees! We brought the other Webbers to the camp house, they are gas operated. Other than custom built Pits, I have always liked my Webbers!

I'm happy to hear they are still giving great service! I started using them in 2006. Rates was cheaper back then! 😂
