Please, no running tally! Having been away from forum since Tuesday AM and reading all comments, including Brett, Smithy, etc and questions asked....I have to include this again, so there will not (I hope) be any miss understandings! FMCA is a "Not for Profit Corporation". Money in/out = same. We who set policy and run FMCA are all volunteers! We do not get a salary for doing so! I'm on the GB as a National Director and I don't get my expenses re-imbursed for being at the Annual Summer Convention! The EB does. FMC is a "For Profit Corporation" and pays salaries. No body I know of is going to work for free every day! Brett, not saying this because of friendship! I DO NOT WANT YOU JOB AS MODERATOR ! You're doing now and have in the past 6 years, done an excellent job of an impossible situation! Yes, I don't like to be deleted, or put on time out....why? I'm not PC! Smithy, keep up the good work....Lord knows, it's got to be frustrating at times! Dons2346. Time to cool it. You and I know, there is more to come after Elkhart...good luck ! Back to OP!

bb. What engine you got? Congratulation on your "new" baby!

I had All State for a number of years and was very satisfied with them, but I went shopping for a better rate, when I changed coaches! I have heard that Hartford is also a good choice...yes, the Life Insurance Co!

Herman. I thought you knew everyone in a 300 mile area of Sherman?! Try the indoor storage and sales in Lewiston. Or Legacy Coach (where Ernie got his Prevost) they do all chassis!

manholt replied to spearfish1@gmail.com's topic in Toads-Towed Behind Motorhome
I would continue to tow it 4 down as you have been! For the record, I would send a copy of all inquires and responses by Jeep, to Daimler Headquarters in Germany, Attn: Tech Dept. -
Unscrew the ones you have...have only changed mine on one occasion, back in 1983! That was 7 coaches ago!

Has your insurance company been notified? They will be in your corner....the Tow Co. Insurance is not your friend and will not fight for you! If possible get a Tiffin Factory Rep to look at it. Photo, photo and video of all damage!

Ross. I obviously did not say it, the way I meant it...we are on the same page, I agree 100% !

It's been a frustrating 12 months for all of us. So, please take a deep breath and let's get on with the OP! Ross. The original thought was to let in towables as a sister/brother club, with no voting rights. After the "soft" (dismal failure) vote in October of 2016, the EB changed that to what it is today! Under the original presentation, I was for it. But not this!

Bill, it could also be S. Carolina, Gulf Shores, Alabama, LA or Texas.

Again, what size XRV's...you'll find that info on side of tire. It will be 3 numbers, space, 2 numbers and R, space, 3 more numbers...since we don't know the make and model of your coach, nor the size of your tires, we can't be of much more help!

Dino & Cathy, Welcome to FMCA and the Forum! Nice looking rig! You blend in well..

So sad, and traumatic to see and experience first hand... not as in the movies!

Thanks Tom! Studebrucer. Welcome again! I think the IRS is 5 months or more a year for a second home/vacation home...don't know about 2 years and a day, just what my CPA tells me! Happy trails!

I pray and hope that none of our members, children or grandchildren, including extended family are safe and unhurt. Since we have members in Nevada and the surrounding states my thoughts are with you and your loved one's! God Bless

Welcome to the Forum! What kind of coach and tires you got? I had a 2011 Allegro Bus and 295 - 80R - 22.5, in 2013 I had to replace a front tire and I went to Cummins on Loop 610, they got me a new Michelin with the FMCA fleet discount...nice folks, I would call them and ask who they use. Not far from their shop, took about 30 min! The reason I went there is my front end sounded as I was loosing a front wheel. I had Tyron installed and it turned out it had come apart and was eating the tire from the inside out. Unfortunately I got my last set of 8 in Oregon and will do the same in 2020. Fleet Discount and no sales tax!

Comparing Coach Net, Good Sam & FMCA Roadside Assistance Coverage
manholt replied to huffypuff's topic in Roadside Assistance
Clay. Welcome to the Forum! What make, model and year coach do you have? If you list under your name, we can help you easier in the event something else goes wrong...it will ! -
Ross. In Indy we spent a great deal of time in discussion of what is a RV and the definition of what FMCA would accept as a RV. Both before the actual meeting and during the meeting. Yes, we did come up with an acceptable definition, but by our own laws, it needs to be presented prior to a National Board Meeting, in order to be formally voted on. Therefor it was tabled, until next Summer Convention in Gillette, Wyoming! Then it needs to be formalized by our Legal Department and sent to the State of Ohio as a Charter change...The State may or may not accept the new Charter! We have no control over that. If they do, then we will be a motorhome and towable Association! If the State of Ohio does not accept the change? We may or may not loss our current Charter! I'm not trying to be argumentative, only laying out the format as it is written and can be found under Governance. For any FMCA member, who wish to get a hard copy of the Charter, Constitution and the By-Laws, just write to FMCA (letter) and make the request. That also goes for the P & L statement. Carl

It would not surprise me if our EB leaders knew nothing about the correct way to do a mail in vote! Some of our GB members take our job seriously, so we try to stay on top of P & P and now the Constitution and By-Laws! Our Association has never been challenged in the way it is now and Dons an I, can't figure out the "Why"! I don't see how we as FMCA, can benefit from this change, in our Constitution! Then does that mean that there are a group of Individual's that will benefit with money? I don't see that either! Guess we just wait until January and then wait until July (if it passes) to find out what a towable or definition of a RV is! If the change goes thru then it will take 3 years before it will be implemented !
