  1. e-mail? You mean there is no replies as to weather or not they got the problem fixed or not? How is that going to help future inquiries? I foresee, the death of the Forum!
  2. x2 and do it before permanent damage occurs...like delamination from capillary action that you can't see.
  3. Rich, must be a slow day for you! We have had nothing for over a year.
  4. Tom, look under sun shades or Kays post on rest easy sofas,
  5. The biggest culprit to heating coach, when you don't want heat, is your windows. Especially the big front one!
  6. Jim, your right, also check the rollers as one may be hung up or cracked. I had a screw, blocking a slide roller. Cost or size of coach does not prevent, stupid.
  7. talldog. Welcome to the Forum! REV Group is now the Manufacturer of the Monaco line up. Call the tech department, with your VIN number handy! If that don't work, then call around RV junk yards or locate an industrial Plasma Shop, they can and will do a copy....I had a bay door replaced that way last January.
  8. Can you unscrew the top of the steps? Sometimes the relay for several different items are mounted above the automatic step.
  9. Excellent point... Besides, Brett will cut us off eventually, he's good at that. Feel free to throw in your 2 cents worth! Speaking off which, do you know how many times we have addressed the lock issue in the past 5 years?

All sites are pull thru and about 80 x 10 feet, all dirt, little grass...2 coaches with 4 slides could not fit. Drive thru is the only way to get beer, next to that is a limited convenience store. Read really good. We are at Ruidoso Coach Ranch....sweet. I'm going to have my wrist x-rayed tomorrow...maybe broken or really badly sprained... another story!
  11. Well, you could rent a car, or buy one of the models Herman suggested and one of you drive it while the other drives the coach...a lot of folks do that.
  12. I have the Power Gear by Lipper...very sensitive to level. If you open the bays under slide out, you should have 2 - 1/2" square rods and one motor in the middle. T rods are attached to the motor by 1 1/4" long bolts...if you put too much stress on bringing slide in or out, the bolt will shear of....happened on mine last October! There is no manual over ride.
  13. I also have had basement air in a 2007 Winnebago Tour 40 KD. Newer again! If you don't live in the NE or Maritime Provinces...please forget it !
  14. Welcome. What does the owners manual say and what slide system do you have...power gear, HWH, etc.?
  15. Isaaac1. My take is now and always...if you don't use it, you lose it. That goes for any activity! I'm 74 years old and active as I can be, I take no prescription pills...I drink beer and wine, I also smoke! Put me in a raft and I'll paddle with anyone who will let me. To my knowledge and Herman's , he's 80, this is the only time we get to live life...no second chance and we are both bound and determined to do it to the max! When I and my DW, joined FMCA, I was 30, she was 31...we did not know each other, until I was 35 and she was 43. In the 14 years we had together, we went to every FMCA Convention and most of the rally's of the Chapters we belonged to...Texas Outlaws, Triple T's and Apollo! We where the youngest members and had a blast. I love golf, fishing, hunting and card games...guess what? So does most others..part or all of it. Age transcend all age groups, if you have a open mind and are willing to try.
  16. Herman. The kids could refresh our memories, we all used to be there, but as you grow older you just shake your head and say, we didn't do that! Or, Lord the kids today? Well, we where in a different era, but we still did the same things...just with no computer or cell phones! Keon comes to mind..

Next stop will be the Ruidoso Coach Ranch, on Hwy 220. Stayed there for 3 weeks last year! A little pricy, but you get a lot for the bucks, especially if like me, you play golf ! Total access to "Rainmaker" Resort.
  18. Keon. Good morning. You got it. For me, rolling in a large coach is ok for most of the US, but as I'm getting older, I'm starting to see the benefit of a 40' tag. Also, my lady and I want to go into the maritime region and Alaska again! Last time I did that, was in a 32 foot Class A. Linda did it in a 34 footer. Looking back, the last time that I saw a lot of "B's and C's" at National rally, was in 2014 at Redmond, OR. 22.5 tires don't do a 24 footer much good !

I did...It's about half way between Burnet and Ruidoso, NM where we will be for 5 days starting tomorrow. We could not leave Burnet until 11am and I have never stayed in Lamesa before...my bad !
  20. We are currently in La Verna RV Park, Lamesa, Texas. Do not recommend this park at all. $40 for water, Sewage and elect., got the worst part of town next to us and there is no direction on how to enter or where the office is. Found out it was in the store and it's got a drive up window for all the beer buyers! Office is run by a 22 and 16 year old girls that are more interested in the beer buyers than you! After hooking up and going outside to sit down and relax, we noticed a large hole where the Hurricane fence was suppose to be, we asked our neighbor what happened and learned that 2 nights ago, the police was chasing a Meth Dealer, who cut thru the park and took out the fence!
  21. Majority of Snow Birders that I see rolling down I-95 or I-75 or I-35 to Hwy 77S are not in big Class A's! Lot's of B's, some C's and also Class A gassers. Maybe 15% are DP's of 40 foot plus! That's of the Motor Homes...Towable is 4 to one against Coaches! Back to demographics! FMCA has never been a large club...Since it's beginning, 50+ years ago we have only issued 458,000+ F#'s and 2,500+ L#'s! We never re-issue some one else's # unless it's to a family member! What has changed all of a sudden in the last 2 years?
  22. When your hooked up to city water, there is a 2 way valve, that allows you to fill the tank...one way your filling another way your using. Last coach I had, that did not have that feature, was back in 1983!
  23. I don't know anything about score card. I do know that if you want a big SUV, you need a DP! So, as Bill wrote, you got a big choice to make. That only you can answer! I guess the cheapest way to go, is leave the SUV at home and get a light weight for a tow!

    Litter Box Location

Kay, that's priceless! Did it also wash it's paws afterwards?
  25. OK...so I guess we have eliminated all condensation from roof and now are concentrated on fresh water tank and plumbing. is that correct?
